Shecky’s Girls Night Out

I’m giving this 2 stars because my first experience was fabulous however this last experience on 10/​30/​2013 was not-​so-​fabulous.
Four of my girlfriends and I got together for this exciting event just to show up and be disappointed. I honestly felt like I let my friends down with all the glamorous stories I had talked about.
No vendors, no samples, no shopping, no prizes and the «Goodie Bag»? What a waste of time, paper and money! We walked through the short aisles before another friend of ours could park to join us. We told her to just meet us elsewhere for a cocktail and a bite to eat. Shecky’s, what happened?

Having been to Shecky’s in Miami about 4 times, going to this one was very disappointing.
The venue was empty, there were almost no vendors that I could relate to or interesting ones for that matter. In the past I’ve gone and enjoy lots of different free drinks and food, even beer and wine tasting and parring.
Don’t get me started with the bag. In the past I’ve received a branded bag with the Shecky’s logo and full of goodies. This time, most of it was pantie liners and tampons. I feel that this experience was so bad I don’t think I will be back, if I could get a refund I would.
So sad that now that I live in Dallas, I can’t enjoy this event as I did while I lived in Miami. Hope you listen to your consumers and remedy this. Dallas is an awesome place and deserves an awesome event like the ones in Miami or better.

My first few experiences with Shecky’s GNO were amazing. They were in Dallas twice a year, and I never missed. There were tons of vendors, goody bags stuffed so full my arm ached carrying it around, free alcohol, and some of the best memories I shared with friends.
However, I went to the GNO on 10÷29÷13 and was very disappointed. First of all, there were only a dozen or so vendors there making the huge warehouse where it is all set up look vacant. The goody bag had very few items in them, and most of them were pantie liners. I got a full sized bottle of mousse that I won’t use and a bottle of conditioner that I will use, but why not include a bottle of shampoo, too? I don’t expect the goody bag to be filled with full-​sized items. Travel-​size is fine, but I am looking for more. The goody bag is the reason any woman goes to these events. I could excuse the lack of vendors if the goody bag was better.
I was only in there for 15 minutes before I was ready to leave. Before, you’d have to drag me out.
