Wish i could give them 10 stars. Just found out they RECYCLE. Super happy to support businesses that do that.

Great café in Bishop Arts! Beautiful, elegant styled-café and tea room. I had the veggie sandwhich with cucumbersn fresh dill, cheese on fresh baked bread. Yummy! Iced tea and water are self serve. Pastries include Sandies(my fave), cookies, cakes and fresh breads. My friend and I met here for lunch. She had the chicken salad sandwhich and said it was great! New place so I expect they will be evolving — very open to suggestions and feedback. Love this place! Comfy chairs with nice size tables(not tiny bistro tables). Couches and chairs by a fireplace area. Parking spaces in their lot and along street. Alsothe vool pink D-Link bus stops on Zang nearby. Very nice owners and staff. Family owned. Wifi and espresso drinks. I will be back often.

I am sitting outside in the lovely garden of Potpourri of Silk Café. Travelled down from Plano after reading an excellent review of this place It was well worth the drive! The restaurant is I n a cute little renovated house on Zang with plenty of parking. I ordered soup and tea with a piece of chocolate cake. After all that talk about their cakes, I got short-changed on my slice! Next thing I know the chef comes out with a complementary cupcake, commenting to sit back relax and enjoy the afternoon on the veranda ! Next the other brother came out to us out on the veranda to see if all was well.(And they had a packed crowd inside!) Sure could not ask for better customer service and food and atmosphere! I’ll be back down with my Plano friends!

Incredible staff and gorgeously delicious desserts! Those wedding cakes look divine and I love the comfortable setting to have coffee. This place really pleasantly surprised me. Get there now before the word gets out!

Potpourri is a down to earth family run bakery shop. What I love about this place is that they really are passionate about making terrific baked goods and enjoy doing it for the last twenty years. Cris who started the business making custom cakes in Oak Cliff still loves making people smile when customers pick up their cakes. Now her son, Andres, is taking on his family tradition with add-ons complimenting their existing business, such as breads, pastries, dessert and sandwiches. The pastries, cookies and the bread I ordered were spot on savory. As you can see, the pictures can tell a thousand words. On top of the good baked stuff, they are truly genuine and caring folks; we were treated like a part of their family. It’s good to know that this is a place where you can always feel like you are part of the community. This is definitely not a hipster place where you go for a modern ambience vibe, but more of a traditional European feels. Go and try this place out and you will feel the same experience as I do.

Super cute café and bakery spot. If feels like you’re at grandma’s. It’s very warm and inviting. Just about everything is house-made including the bread and mayo for their sandwiches. Which if you need a sandwich to try, the chicken salad is amazing!

You have to try the chicken salad sandwich. Everything is made in house. They used to only make cakes. Their cakes were so good that it brought me back and now they serve sandwiches and drinks. Wonderful food by wonderful people!
