Dale’s revenge was perfection. great balance of char grease and flavour. Guac is on point as well as the golden buttery delicious bun. best first date I ever had.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday after the lunch crowd had gone. The restaurant is on an odd corner… oddly shaped… small but close to all the passing action on lower Greenville. The inside reminded me of «Happy Days» sort of a hip throw back… retro. Very laid back. All the staff was upbeat and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. They have sodas, craft beers and a full bar. Tuesday is 1.00 off tall boys so we got beers of course. Now for the food. Dale’s Revenge was HUGE! The guac was so bright and fresh, the patty was juicy and cooked just right. The toasted bun was just the right amount of soft. Did I mention it had the crispy onion strings?(So goodt). Babe had the fighting chicken burger… well…it was a chicken burger… back to my food. I ordered dipping sticks(fresh cut hot fries) and FRIEDGREENTOMATOES. These tomatoes were huge… thick and crispy battered perfectly. I kept waiting for the batter to fall off after each bite but it was stuck on there… as it should be. Tomatoes came with the dilly ranch sauce. I took some sauce to go. In all it was a little pricey for lunch 2 burgers, 2 sides, and 2 beers(39.00)…but no huge complaints. .we enjoyed it and will go again.

Such a massive disappointment! We love supporting local East Dallas restaurants, but they will get no more of our money. We came and got the Frito pie equivalent, it was all Fritos and no chili. For eight bucks that’s a no go.

This place is great! Get the mushroom burger and you will not be disappointed! Full bar and beer as well.

It’s a super cool idea — an old gas station, and I have heard that it’s owned/founded by some other fancy-pants burger joint owner. It’s across from Tacos Y Mas on Ross, which is definitely good for people-watching, if a little overly casual. But what ended up happening is that my burger was too spendy, the fries were soggy, and anything I could have possibly wanted to add on was going to put my burger into the Manhattan Pricing Stratosphere(read: way too expensive). It’s not that it was a bad burger; it was pretty decent. It’s just that for the price and the location, I expect a bit more.

The food was ok. I ordered the BLT dog with fries and fountain drink. I’d go back if a friend suggested it, but wouldn’t be my first choice.

This place is my food version of Disney world. It is a deliciously happy and exciting experience. Dale’s Revenge is the best hamburger I’ve ever had EVER. And their cocktails are interesting and unique without the pretentiousness of the rest of lower Greenville.

Ordered the Brooke’s burger Togo today, got home and it was way too undercooked. :/completely pink inside. Grossed me out, I couldn’t eat it. A little pink is fine but this was not normal.

First, if I could give 2 ½ stars, I would. Instead I rounded up and gave them 3! In one of the most competitive burger towns in the country, you have to be on point if you want to succeed in Dallas. I had heard some good things about Pints and Quarts so I thought I would give them a try on a rainy Sunday afternoon when they weren’t very busy. My first clue that I might have an issue was when I went to place my order at the counter and the tall bearded man taking orders informed me that I couldn’t get my burger rare. He informed me that they only cook them medium and it would be pink in the middle. Trusting that they would get this right since they cook every burger the same way, I said that it would be ok. I went with the basic burger with no cheese. When trying a new burger joint, I want to go basic to see if they can get a simple burger right. I decided to sit at the counter facing the open kitchen so I could see what they were doing. I am a big fan of open kitchens. When they started my order, I had the only burger that they were cooking. They cook pre-formed patties on a flat griddle. I assume it is freshly ground beef, but I didn’t ask. While girl behind the counter was cooking my burger, I noticed an order of fries sitting in the fry basket. After flipping my burger I thought maybe she would drop the fries back into the oil to finish them off, but that never happened. She smashed the burger down a couple of times and then cut into it with her spatula to make sure it was done. They key word here is «done», It was surely done, well done! I prefer my burgers VERY rare, but will accept medium when I have to. If you are going to promise medium and that is all you do, you better get it right. I received my order and took a bite, knowing it was over done. I must admit that although the burger was overcooked, it still tasted pretty good. The bun was tasty and the veggies were fresh and they probably saved the day. Had they just not overcooked the burger, it would have been«a damn good» burger. Instead, it was just«a decent» burger. The fries were a barely warm enough to eat. It would have been nice had they been hot and cripsy instead of limp and luke-warm. Normally I would have said something to the manager, but for some reason I just didn’t feel like bothering. I will probably give them another try at some point in the future. For now, I will stick to what I know and love!

Excellent Burgers!!! We’ve been wanting to try this place since they opened because we live nearby. We needed to rent a Uhaul trailer this past Monday afternoon, so figured it was the perfect opportunity. I ran across the street to order food(opted for two of the Guacamole Burgers to-go) while my man was picking up the trailer across the street. My only«complaint» is that the burgers took about 15 minutes(or slightly longer) to come out from the kitchen(he actually finished picking up trailer before the food was ready– ha!) BUT, if they are always going to be made with such care, I can deal with the wait(well worth it). Cooked to perfection, toppings spread around evenly under the bun. Kudos to the cooks! Gorgeous interior and patio! Insane transformation from the old tire repair shop it had previously been. Funky/chill atmosphere(playing some old school hip hop music) and if I had been dining there, would not have minded the long wait for food bc the patio was cool! Burgers did great as takeout(and come wrapped in paper so they were super easy to hold and eat in the car). They were the perfect size(big –lol) with generous/perfect amount of topping. The beautiful buns were fresh-tasting and toasted just right. Lots of the chunky guac(yum!) and their special sauce, Swiss cheese, full of fresh flavor. I don’t eat burgers frequently, and when I do, they’d better be good –these blew away my expectations! Highly recommended. Excited to go again to try some fries and an adult drink with another burger!

Let me start here: a juice box of wine? I can’t decide if I love this or hate this. I’ll let you decide for yourself! The other thing that bothered me a little bit was the indoor seating. It was all bar type seating. The bar itself was so small that you can’t sit across from another person. I would like to see at least a few tables as an option. The burger itself(I had a cheese burger with guacamole) was really good. I was impressed! The fries were good but I’ve had much better at other competing burger places! Anyway, give it a try because there are definitely some positives with this place!

Came here on a nice Sunday night looking to just relax. Location of the place might seem a little sketchy since there is a huge empty parking lot during that time. However, it is right next to Lower Greenville, so I figured it should still be fairly safe. However, appearances do matter in my opinion at the location of a restaurant. My cashier recommend that I ordered the Dale’s Revenge Burger and Onion Strings with the Secret Ssauce. I was fine with that because I am a big sucker for burgers with avocado in them. Upon receiving my food, I found the food to be average. There wasn’t anything special about the Dale’s Revenge. Sure, the burger overall had a pretty balanced taste, but, I wasn’t «wowed» by anything in the meal. Maybe Pints & Quarts should do something extra special with their meals, or maybe I’m just being picky. Overall, it was okay, but definitely not an icon in Lower Greenville.

I’m so happy I finally came here! Super cute restaurant with great outdoor seating. I got the standard cheese burger and it was delicious. The bread was perfectly crispy and the meat/toppings were all so fresh. They put a «secret sauce» on it that definitely makes the burger. I came on a Saturday afternoon so there was a long line and we waited about 20 minutes for our food to come out, but it was worth it. The fries are ok. Wouldn’t order them again. Definitely coming back, but next time just sticking to the burger.

Once the AC is fixed this will be 4 star. The burger is big and delicious. I love the guac on the burgers. Guac is super chunky and there’s a lot of it, not just a smear. And I love how the meat is seasoned. A lot of places give you a really bland burger and dress it up with fancy sides. Not at P&Q. The meat has a great taste without anything on it. I usually eat meals at off times, so I’m not too concerned that there’s not a lot of tables indoors. If you are in a hurry this may not be the best option. The burgers are cooked fresh and it takes a few. Also, I know they don’t have a ton of beers. We were there twice in the first week and they were out of some beers. All restaurants have growing pains. I had a cider that was fantastic. Within walking distance of the house will make this a frequent stop as soon as the air cools down.

A modernized 70s concept that has several burger and hot dog options. The burgers really can’t be customized and are served medium. Unfortunately, my guacamole burger was medium rare and came w/mayo which I wasn’t expecting. I ordered fried pickles which were ok but they put ranch on top. Typically, I like to dip them in ketchup but I enjoyed the dill in the ranch. The fries were probably the best item I had but my buddy said the Chicago Dog was good. A few local beers on tap w/a full liquor bar. After noticing that everyone else was walking out w/their beers after ordering, I went back in to grab the PBRs. For the price point, seems average at best for pseudo fast food.

Burgers are HUGE and so filling. I ordered the buffalo one and I could barely eat it all. The guacamole one was decent, although it wasn’t anything special. Fries and side orders are pretty creative and dipping sauces are delicious. The drink choices are also pretty awesome as they have a ton of beers in cans. Prices are really good! Downside: I’m not sure if their air conditioning is broken or if they simply do not have one, but everytime I’ve been, I’ve almost died of heat, so beware.

Went on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed everything. Everyone was friendly and had a good energy. We had good conversations with everyone that helped us and their excitement for the new place. My friend and I spilt the the fried pickles, which were awesome. The breading was perfect and the dill ranch coverage was just the right amount. Also it’s in spear form as they should be :) My burger was their version of a BLT with fried green tomatoes as a bonus. I’ve had three different burgers in the past week and it was the best. The wrapping was smart, too. Like a burger burrito so none of the bits fell out. Please add fried green tomatoes to menu!

Great new burger joint! The burger was absolutely delicious. The cheese was perfectly melted, all of the toppings were very fresh and high quality. The fries are seasoned interestingly and it works. Don’t forget the secret sauce… it is a mayo-based dip that is perfectly creamy and tastes good on every bite. Besides the delicious food, the atmosphere and branding is so cute. Your view is not the best(CVS, Pet Supply Store, and a storage unit), but it has retro little picnic tables and a cool vibe. I docked a star since they do allow smoking on the patio. I don’t like the smell of cigarettes over dinner, but hopefully you hit it at a time when people aren’t smoking! Maybe go a little earlier for dinner to beat the hipsters! ;)

Dale’s Secret Sauce — Thick, like mayo meets beer cheese, but in a very good way. I could get buzzed on this sauce. Dipsticks(Fries) — Hand-cut, lightly salted and garnished with chives. Okay sidekick. More like Bat Girl than Robin. Funky Town Burger — Beef was good and somewhat juicy, but not too greasy. The BBQ sauce complimented the grilled onions and melted cheese very nicely. Probably would have preferred to have my onions battered to add some crunchy contrast to the soft wheat buns, but I’m being picky here. Overall: Pretty Good!

For a business that’s only been open for a few hours, they are off to a great start! The menu is pretty simple– burgers, hotdogs, and beer, but what they do, they do well. One of their strengths is being set in a converted gas station, with retro charm, and an open air indoor/outdoor dining area. But this also makes keeping the place air conditioned near to impossible and most of the seating is outside anyway. So dress for the weather! Being on the corner, it’s a fun place to people watch and had a really eclectic crowd. It was also super affordable, especially for the portion sizes. Parking was tricky– there’s a parking lot in back but getting in and out wasn’t easy. Street parking was easy to find and ended up being the most convenient option.
