I love this place. Small town place with everything one would need for a pet or garden. A little more expensive than other places but well worth it.

I go out of my way to get products that I feel benefit my home & animals. That being said, I don’t even have to with The Old Mill Feed Store! It usually has exactly what I want. They even showed me that they do offer corn free, soy free chicken feed. New to raising backyard chickens, the staff have been exceedingly helpful with tips and tricks. They also have a cute kid’s you section that I recently discovered. Everyone is super courteous and friendly. I avoid chain stores at all costs and try to keep it local. The Old Mill makes it easy to do that.

This feed store is such a disappointment for this farming community. The staff are pretty helpful and friendly and that is the only reason I give any stars. Some of them are able to answer questions about farm problems but most don’t offer much experience. I used to come here all the time until progressively became disenchanted when they either would not have what I was looking for or it would be $ 3+ more than anywhere else. Prices are absolutely ridiculous on some items. They don’t carry many natural options for feed/medicine/animal supplements. Very sad that this is the only place in the area but I just order things online or make the long drive to wilco. Total bummer.

This store is a great source for feed and supplies for all your animals from dogs to horses. They even have classes where they bring in outside experts to teach. They also sell all the lawn and garden supplies that you need and are ready with some expert advice. I have gotten advice on which tomato plants to buy for the best tasting tomatoes and how to treat moss in my lawn. The store is in an old Mill building with a lot of rough timber and has a great atmosphere that you want to hang out in.
