Truly a one-of-a-kid and unique store — absolutely the ‘go-to’ place for fantastic greeting cards(humor, art, lifestyle, keepsake) and some of the most unique artisan-crafted jewelry pieces you will find anywhere outside of NY or LA. I never fail to find something unique and interesting there — and each gift has been well-received. Also they are great at customer service and making you feel valued — love this place!

This is the best place to buy unique and wonderful cards. I have not found a shop outside of Nuvo like this. Browsing through their gifts and home accessories is always fun, although some of it is a bit overpriced. If I was going to spend that much I’d probably go to Neiman’s instead. Overall, great destination in Oak Lawn.

Nuvo has been rated often as one of Dallas’ best gift shops… for good reason. I’ve been a customer for 18+ years… great card selection… jewelry,.books. décor. enormous candle selection. Lampe Berger and some apparel like robes and occasional trunk shows. The owners have great tastes and the best part: free gift wrap and their buyer loyalty program. Note: the best parking is in back(enter from arch or on side near Cyclone Anaya’s). park yourself or FREE valet.

Worst customer service! 3 employees at or around cash stand & was not greeted once by anyone. Needless to say I did not make a purchase!

In the old location, I really liked this store! I was sad when I saw it wasn’t there anymore, and someone let me know of their new location. I couldn’t WAIT to take my husband there, because I knew he’d love it too! We finally had time to check it out. Parking was easy, but it was Black Friday — everyone was at North Park mall. What happened? It’s still *basically* the same store, I guess. They carry a wide variety of gift items and greeting cards… but the feeling is different. The items are so, so modern and no longer the classy, gentleman, leather and steel kind of stuff. It’s all… just weird modern stuff. I don’t know, but I could have spent $ 10,000 in the old location and not bought enough. I walked in here… and found *nothing* I wanted. Not one single thing. I’m so disappointed :(I was really hoping Nuvo would be my go-to gift store for friends, but it looks like I won’t be going back. It’s great if you want a unique greeting card, but I don’t think it’s really worth a special trip just for that.

Okay let me start by I don’t hate this store, I’ve only been in here maybe 3 times. I’ve never seen anyone buy anything. Its like a Gipsy who suffered from chronic hoarding exploded inside of this store and the decades of her crap landed neatly dusted on all of the shelves. The whole place is like 25% old lady figurines, 25% kitchen ware and books, and 50% greeting cards that I couldn’t really do anything with. Someone must be buying something here I just cant imagine what it could be? There must be an underground demand for sundries and old lady trinkets.

new location same store. better parking — they now have designated spots of their own in the back. these are much closed to the entrance than the the old sore and parking behind the building. looks smaller but better use of the space so just as much merchandise. still Nuvo!

I used to love this store, in the old location. This new location is awful. No place to park either in front nor in the back, nor around the block. The local food businesses take up all available parking. Hopefully this is not normal for the new location.
