Great selections of candies from regular candy bars, local candies, some animated candies like Mario and hello kitty, to gummies, jelly beans, chocolate covered nuts and pretzels, regular nuts and mints. Very pricey than the normal. But what do you expect, it’s an airport. I needed some peppermint for my next flight as sometimes I do get motion sickness. I wanted to prepare myself. A box of altoids cost me $ 5. At home it’s like $ 2. I also bought the 1UP Mario green mushroom because I have a red one at home. There’s sour candies in the mushroom, but I have not tried then yet.

I stopped in after my lunch to grab some sugar free goodies. The sugar free section is very limited, but I’m just happy they had what they did. They had sugar free almonds, peanut clusters, pecan clusters. The staff is very friendly. If your looking for some sweets this is a good place at the airport.

Decent candy shop located in terminal D of DFW Airport. While there’s a good selection, expect to pay a premium(airport) price. Everything from jelly beans to chocolate. There’s bulk items to fill a sack with and pay a ‘per pound’ price. The place was staffed well, keeping an eye on the product and loose hands. I only perused and then moved on. There’s a Starbucks just a few steps down!

I went in here for a healthy snack… wait, a candy store? YES! I had just told a colleague that I had wished I brought a bag of almonds, and low and behold, there was Natalie’s. Thing is, they have a whole wall of nuts and trail mixes that you can mix and match. Let’s be real, it’s in an airport so it’s not going to be cheap… at all(something like $ 7/lb and of course, everything comes out of the dispenser really fast). BUT, they were offering 10% and for some unsalted nuts and other travel snacks that weren’t typical airport food, I was thrilled!

I have been to the SFO location of Natalie’s wasn’t impressed there either. This location at DFW was smaller and more of a kiosk layout versus having there own store. The representative was really nice and friendly, but the quality of candy was poor. I got a mix of jelly beans, mixed candy and m&ms. The M&Ms were stale, and so was some of the mixed candy. Too bad I was on the plane when I realized this.

Had a longer wait than expected in the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport back in November. So what else to do besides fall asleep in a chair? Cruise around the terminal of course. I ended up stumbling upon this little nook filled with candy. There wasn’t too much space for this candy bar, but they sure had a lot of candy. Everything from huge lollie pops to pez dispensers. It was great, being able to find candies that I haven’t had since I was a kid. Jawbreakers are like the hardest things to find sometimes and they had the giant ones that I used to love oh so much. Oh and I can’t forget to mention that they had Willie Wonka chocolate bars too! I ended up getting some sour gummy candies, a batman pez dispenser for my boyfriend and some Asian rice snacks. I spent about $ 17.00 which seems a bit pricey for candy, but bringing me back to my childlike stage was worth it.

I walked by the location in Terminal B about four times during my three and a half hour layover. I’m pretty sure the store employee, who saw me a couple times, was thinking, «what the hell is she doing?» I was gettin’ antsy, okay?(And there’s not a whole lot to see in this part of the airport.) When my flight was finally declared«cancelled» I stopped in and stocked up on chocolate bars for my overnight stay(and to make my hell-ish trip better). Like most airport stores, part of it is kind of narrow and maneurving with luggage is a bit of a challenge. I started to get my favorite, Reese Butter Cups, but I really wanted one non-standard kind, if that makes any sense. I was debating between Lindt(which I love) and a Belgian brand I’d never heard of milk chocolate bar. Both were pretty pricy, but I kind of expected that. I decided to go with the Belgian chocolate, which was delicious. Too delicious, in fact, that on my flight back to Chicago, I had to stop back in and get another for the road(air?).

Coolest little candy store. In Terminal D near all the restaurants near Gate 18. It’s almost as if you woke up in Willy Wonka’s Candy Factory with these ginormous lolly pops and candy canes(see picture I took). They have everything from standard candy to jawbreakers size of baseballs to lollipops with real scorpions in them. Bottom line: Fun and cool. But keep your kids away as you can be in BIGTROUBLE once they see this place… Nothing like kids on a major sugar high on the plane!

A parent’s worst nightmare… and a Willy Wonka fan’s wet dream, this place is like an old fashioned candy store in the middle of a sparkling new terminal. They have tons of different types of candy, including old school candies like stretchy taffies, multilayer-as-big-as-your-head lollipops, and all these different types of chocolate.
