I decided to try this place considering that I like Snap Kitchen. I got the lemon turkey and was not aware that it was spicy! The ingredients did not mention anything about spiciness! Also, the website stated the small was 250 calories, but the packaging said 310 calories. So, not sure what is right, but that is misleading. My total came out to $ 6.99 and the cashier really had the nerve to ask if I wanted my one cent along with my left over bills. It wasn’t the fact that it was one cent, I could care less, but it was the fact that he asked me if I wanted my change or not. I understand most people don’t want that one penny, but you don’t ASK the customer if they want it or not. That should of never been a question to ask and I found it to be unprofessional. Does he do that to everyone and keep all those pennies for himself? I have no idea… but I will not be back to find out.

I came here to see if they had any Whole 30 approved items, I know Snap Kitchen does, and would assume they do as well. Unfortunately, every single item I looked at had added sugar and butter(which is no-no, for whole 30) so I had to walk out. I would have love to have given them my business, as I love love love the concepts of these wonderful healthy grab and go places, however, I can’t since none of their items are Whole 30 approve and since it has added sugar, i’m just going to go ahead and say not paleo approved either.

I recently had a powerlifting competition and came in to buy lunches. I ended up sitting down with Jess and reviewing my food intake. We worked up a 2 week plan to go into my competition. Started out at 187 and had to weigh in at 181(or less). Eating more food than I normally did I lost 10 lbs for my comp in 2 weeks(weighted in at 177 lbs). Now I know results are not typical since I workout daily for 1 – 2 hours but I appreciate hee setting up my macros and planning my meals for me. Made the whole process of cutting weight easier and I got to eat food Vs starving to cut for my competition. Just to let you know I ended up with less weight, maintained strength, had more energy for my competition and placed 1st in all of my divisions(plus National/State records). I will be continuing these meals into my next competition in a few weeks.

I like the turkey and rice with green beans for seven dollars. Also like the veggie juices but I wish they had more vegan entrees available. Also they need to deep clean their bathroom. Service is great! They are welcoming and it is a quick process to pick up meals and go.

I was really excited when I began going to My Fit Foods because of their selection of fresh, healthy foods that I could grab and go. Since I don’t have much time to cook, this was the perfect fit for me. However, over the past few weeks, I’ve gotten two different meals that expired well before the sell-by date listed on the container. The first was their Besto Pesto(one of my favorite dishes they have, so I was very sad by this event), which smelled absolutely awful the moment I opened it. It smelled so bad that I completely lost my appetite. The second was the roasted veggies and herb chicken(which I’ve had before as well and was previously very good), which again smelled off when I opened the container. I heated this one up to make sure it wasn’t just because it was cold, and still smelled bad after microwaving. I threw it out. Both of these meals had a sell-by date that was 2 – 3 days after I went to eat it, so they went bad way before they should have. This happened to my fiancé as well with a breakfast dish, where it expired before the sell-by date. Needless to say, I won’t be going back to My Fit Foods after experiencing this waste of good food.

I used to be a regular My Fit Foods consumer since 2011, but within the past year or so, I’ve noticed a change for the worse in the recipes. A lot of my old favorites are not enjoyable any longer. The last time I visited, I had the Slim Salmon Cakes, and I found them almost inedible. I used to love them, but this time, I had to pinch my nose in order to swallow the food. Please bring back the old recipes, especially Denyse’s Killuh Chili!

On day 13 of 21 day fitness challenge and going to quit, not because it doesn’t work(I’ve lost 7 lbs) but because the service is so bad. Three times in a row they’ve gotten my order completely wrong, there is no attention to detail(consistently receive food I’ve asked to have removed from my menu, uneven number of meals, etc.). There is really no plan involved, they just pick out entrees for you, I have received no input, feedback or inquiries from nutrition coach so it’s easier to just pick it out yourself. That way if you want to substitute your own meal or eat out you don’t have to plan for it. Such a shame — great concept; poorly executed.

I’m sorry, but MFF gets one star now, contacted the owner(who apparently does cocaine) via email to ask about origin of food… Seafood is not wild caught, meats are not grass fed & hormone free, vegetables are not organic, etc… u get my point. All their dishes are rice and starch heavy, because it’s cheap and fills you up, so as you can see this place is really not that healthy, and it’s way overpriced, I say try Snap Kitchen or Simply Fit Meals, not here though. OH they also took away their trainer discount & half-price dishes that are about to expire, they’re not giving out as many good deals anymore, so yeah they suck & will go bankrupt real, too bad so sad, there are other waayyy better places out there.

today was the first time going to my fit foods and i like this place. this place was close to my work so i decided to check this place out with my sister. my whole family eats healthy and goes to the gym regularly and we like the idea of healthy food. iv always seen signs of my fit foods everywhere and i finally got to try this place out. they have so many food options to choose from. the only thing i don’t like is that they don’t have vegitarian meal options. my sister is vegitarian and all she could get was the snacks. i’m not vegitarian so i still got something to eat from here. i got the forbidden chicken and rice and it was really good. i would still come back here because the food is good and healthy.

Every time I come here I leave irritated. I get my nails done right next door so it’s convenient to knock out two things at once sometimes. Most of the staff here just seems like auto pilate mode. There’s always one person quick to ask if u need help picking out meals, but everyone else is either stuck up(arrogant) or just not friendly and kinda blah. I never get a hi when I walk in the door or a thank you for coming. I but for my friend and I when I come in and I get 3 days worth every time. So I spend a lot. You’d think they could be more friendly with a customer that is a regular and buys a lot. I’m so glad the lovers lane store opened, it’s closer to me anyway and they are very friendly there.

I had the Mix & Mash and decided to eat it there. The girl behind the counter was too busy on her phone to ask if I needed any help. Someone walked in after me and she told them something was buy 1 get on free. Had I been told I would have stocked up. Someone lost a sale.

Meh. I went once and picked up a few meals. The girl who rang me up was friendly and hospitable but I thought the selection wasn’t that great. I see the appeal for someone new to healthier eating but I didn’t really want lower calorie versions of traditionally unhealthy foods. I wanted lots of veggies and lean protein done simply and flavorfully. I also found it weird that a lot of meals were made with white rice rather than brown or a more nutrient-dense grain. I may grab something again if I’m in a hurry and want a low-cal meal but if I’m looking for a truly healthy and balanced meal, this isn’t the place I’ll go.

I have been a big fan of MFF for a while now, and have previously recommended to several friends. Lately, though, I have to agree with a few other commenters regarding the decline in the overall MFF experience, and I’d be hard-pressed to recommend. Today’s experience caused me to write this review. I have been traveling for a couple of weeks, and needed a couple of meals in the fridge until my next trip. When I walked in the store at 11am on a Monday, two employees had co-opted the only two tables in the store and were heads-down on their laptops, either web surfing or «working», but I was ignored. I couldn’t find the Texas Hill Country Stew(which we liked, but has been«up and down» on the quality of meat), and needed some help. One of the chefs(nice guy — looked like Chef from South Park) was walking by, and asked if he could help me. He said the stew was discontinued recently, owing to some changes in their menu to reduce sodium content. He pointed me to a couple of other options, which I’ve had before — didn’t appear to be any new menu choices. Selection wasn’t great. I hadn’t been there in a couple of weeks, and was surprised to see the formerly clear windows into the kitchen had been covered in opaque film — the place looked a little sad. When I asked about it, the store employee said that it made the windows«easier to clean» when the chefs splashed them while cooking. I thought it was a negative — I used to like the idea of seeing into the hopefully clean kitchen. In general, I was disappointed in the experience, and what seems to be the trend with this store — at least in my experience, the quality is declining at a time when the number of other options for prepared healthy meals seems to be increasing. Interesting side note — I called the 800 number on the printed menu for corporate headquarters to offer this feedback. There was no answer there, and the phone was not answered as «My Fit Foods» — just a generic«someone will get back to you» message on an answering machine.

Ive been going to My Fit Foods since it opened in Dallas. This was my go too since I am mobile in my job and FF is always the default. I have noticed in the last few months a decline in the food that Im purchasing. First off I choose to spend my money at MFF, and it is not a cheap decision. The quality of the food is not what it started out as. I dont want to stop choosing MFF but a change has to be made. I know you must be comfortable with your success, but pay attention to what is being sent out of your kitchen please. Of the last 3 items I’ve purchased the portions are NOT consistence, the eggs were runny, and the potatoes were all over cooked.

Hardly gluten-free. The new menu has more gluten on it than not. Furthermore, when items like chili contain gluten, it shows that their commitment to providing gluten-free meals is low. No longer do the item placards in the fridge display an item’s gluten-free status either. Such a disappointment. I was told that MFF has been acquired and the new management is adding gluten because it makes the food taste better. And while it’s not MFF’s responsibility to provide the world with gluten-free meals, it’s particularly frustrating that they’ve built up their goodwill in this niche market only to leverage its buzz for faster growth and higher profits while selling out their loyal customers.

One thing I like about My Fit Foods is who they are: quick food that is healthy. I run in, find something delicious and run out knowing I’ve selected something my trainer would appreciate me eating every day of the week. The cost is a little high, but when you think quick, healthy and perfect for someone who works out a lot(hello protein)…not much comes to mind, so I do love having this option. When you walk in, you should be greeted by a staff person who will assist you in selecting an item or two that sounds good. Also, they are running special pricing all the time seeing how they have to move fresh food in all the time. Last time I was there I got a chicken and rice dish for half off because it was made just the day before. Not bad, huh? Just be prepared to fight for parking. This location is sandwiched in a weird shopping center right off Lemmon and it can get crazy as you try to find parking at lunch time.

Clean meals FTW! We dropped in to see what type of pre-made meals they offered here since our friend who lives out in this area was raving about how easy it was for him to get in his clean meals with My Fit Foods. I feel like the selection they have here is quite limited. Even though, yes… on a strict diet you are pretty much limited in what type of proteins, carbs and fats you could take in but I think this type of store is more catered for just a health conscious and active individual. Not necessarily a good spot for a competitor. I believe I bought one of their salmon dinner entrees. I thought the salmon was cooked just fine and the quinoa with the salmon tasted fine too. But honestly, I think I paid way too much for a tiny 3oz piece of salmon. I think you’re better off just getting off your lazy butt, go to the store, buy your clean food, go home and cook that food and in the end you are saving tons of $!

I think it’s going to take some time to fomulate my entire review but let me start with the fact that I love the idea here. I often get sucked into eating not-so-good because of the convenience of certain foods. But here is My Fit Foods that offers prepared meals at a reasonable price. The food is all fresh so it has a shorter shelf life but you still have a few days and plenty of options. When i went in I was slightly overwhelmed but there was a nice gentleman(you think I would remember his name, but I don’t) to walk me through everything: a few best sellers, the best by dates on the packaging, the nutritional info, that they will prepare diets for you, etc. I’ve had a few dishes now and think that they are goign to be hit or miss based on your tastes. 1. fit mac. This was my least favorite, pasta, onion, and ground turkey. It lacked a whole lot of something. 2. Cynthia’s BBQ. This was really good, served with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. So far my favorite. 3. chicken alfredo. This was also pretty good, the chicken was really tender and seasoned well… better than I’ve ever done. I am excited to go abck and try different things.

Best. Awesome. Best. Fantastic. Best. Delicious. Best. Healthy. I drive by this place almost everyday and since I started my diet I’m always looking for great healthy eats while I’m out. This place seriously has it all. Made fresh daily the storefront has meals and snacks to purchase on the go. They also do vegan and vegetarian meals as well, so they literally have something for EVERYONE! When you walk in, you are greeted and handed a menu. The refrigerators are sectioned off by Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, & Dinner. Then by portion size, small or large and each meal is labeled with the calorie content and ingredients for each entrée. Since I am on a very strict portion and calorie intake I chose the«Simple Meal», which included grilled chicken(you could also choose salmon), steamed broccoli and converted(brown) rice. Sounds boring right? Actually, it was one of the most flavorful meals I think I’ve ever eaten on the go. Then I chose a snack(cause I’m always hungry!), which was the«Fit to Go», a boiled egg, apple slices, grapes and natural peanut butter. It was perfect at 3:30pm. Everyone that works there was so nice and helpful. They even have a licensed nutritionist on staff to help and answer an questions about weight loss or simply just getting healthy. If you are feeling really spicy, sign up for their 21 Day Challenge! I’ve been back a few times and I just love it. Great food, perfect portion sizes and a great taste! Hooray for good living!

Eat your heart out. Need a quick and satisfying 400 calorie meal on the go? Think rations and definitions, now soup it up with flair. Being militaristic about a meal has never been so tasty or rewarding as My Fit Foods, hailing from Houston . Pick a catagory: snack, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pick a meal size; small medium or large. Calories? Listed. As well as pertinent nutrition information for each neatly boxed meal: carbs, proteins, fat, and weight in grams. It’s not at all fuddy duddy either: black bean soup, a picnic snack with grapes, cheese and hard boiled egg both clocking in around 300 calories. Impressive. For dinner it’s charbroiled chicken with creamy pecan studded sweet potatoes and fresh green beans also carefully counted and flavored. You can pack ‘em in the freezer awaiting any possible temptations you might encounter during the week. Don’t faint, or have a heart attack, you’ve still got some calories to burn. And yes, you can still cheat on the weekends. But don’t forget, that’s only two days.
