I recently started working in the Park Central buildings, and I really appreciate having Murphy’s Deli in the lobby. It’s a great place to drop by and grab a quick cup of coffee in the middle of the workday. Their coffee is pretty great, since they serve Starbucks coffee and have a pretty complete Starbucks menu(but they don’t accept Starbucks gift cards). The folks that work there have always been friendly and efficient when taking my order and making my coffee. They have a nice seating area and it seems like a good place to take a break for lunch in the middle of a busy workday. I haven’t yet had a chance to try their food, but it looks pretty good, mostly standard deli fair: sandwiches, subs, paninis, wraps. They have a salad bar that all of my new coworkers have raved about. I look forward to coming here for lunch often as I continue working in this office park!

This is a small eatery within building 8 of the Park buildings. There’s several tables to sit at during lunch time, and two booths to order from. It’s a bit confusing because the cash register is at only one booth. One of them is specifically for salads and soup. The chicken and dumpling soup is slightly above canned soup average. The other side on the left sells sandwiches, paninis, burgers and baked potatoes. The baked potatoes are pretty huge! If you order them with chicken you can tell it’s a bit lower quality. I was able to tell when I ordered one without cheese. There were so many fatty parts! If you order with cheese it masks all of that of course. The grilled cheese isn’t gourmet or anything like that, but it’s better than anything I can make. They use a higher grade of American cheese than Kraft, but parts of it are still hard after it’s pressed so don’t expect a gooey sandwich. They also sell smaller food items by the register, like single deviled eggs, pickles, fruit, jalapeños and even dolmas! The deviled eggs are pretty average, probably a day old, but at least the pickles are crispy. The staff has always been friendly but all in all it’s just an average eatery for when you forget to bring lunch!
