First let me start with the manager with the pink hair she is too busy texting on her telephone to watch her staff or get the food out. staff gives away food to the Homeless looking boyfriend and there is one cashier in particularly with braids while you’re placing your order keeps asking you is that all. People in their plays loud music and its security guard give you a hard time about using the restroom when he should be Making them leave .worst mcdonalds I ever seen

My wife and I were changing trains at West End, and she had to use the bathroom. Went in, navigated the gauntlet of drug dealers and hobos, and approached the restroom. There was a security guard in the place, and he stopped her and told her she had to buy something to use the bathroom. So we bought some fries and tried again. He almost didn’t let us; maybe he thought we should buy more. My wife explained that if she didn’t go soon, they would have to break out the mop. Finally let her go stand in line where she eventually got into the bathroom. What a crazy establishment, do not go here if you don’t want to deal with rude people, rap concert level noise, and having to keep a hand on your wallet so it doesn’t get picked. In fact, just stay away from West End station if at all possible!

Don’t. Just don’t. I don’t know if this was some cruel joke placed on me but I believe I literally received vomit instead of my vanilla latte. The manager was extremely unapologetic. The cashier had taken my receipt(no. 333) and as the manager said it wasn’t her shift, she couldn’t /wouldn’t assist me. They will never get a cent of my coins again.

The management actually screams at the customers. It is the craziest, crappiest fast food joint you’ll ever see. This place is so ghetto!

This location needs help! Today is the second time I’ve stopped for lunch to go and had to leave WITHOUTFOOD that was PAIDFOR. Ridiculous! Staff had plenty of time to prepare order but did not want to miss my train. Being located at a train station, they need to be much more efficient.

As a tourist I naively walked by this location early on a hot Sunday afternoon. I was thirsty and was looking to get a soft drink to walk around with. I figured I would get a soft drink at McDs. The location is small. There’s a small counter to place orders. The staff that fills orders is out of sight. I had to wait what seemed like a extraordinary long time for my soft drink — no self-service drinks here. Orders are apparently filled in the sequence received no matter how large or complex. A «rent a cop» security guard stood prominently in the lobby. It became apparent that this McDonalds operated as a fortress. I give McDonalds credit for providing an outlet in this neighborhood. If ever in Dallas again, I’ll avoid this neighborhood.

Hispanic gal, day manager is oblivious to the chaos going on in this location. She makes the problem worse by chatting with the customers in line. Had 2 cashiers held up with her chatting with the entire lobby full. No line so the homeless keep cutting in line. I said something to her about 3 folks cutting in front of the pregnant lady in front of me and she just gave me a dirty look and walked off. I know it’s McDonalds but wow.

I’m moving up from one star to two. One of the employees actually smiled and apologized for my chicken nuggets taking forever. That’s the first ounce of joy that I’ve seen in this place. Meanwhile while she was apologizing to me, another employee was getting cursed out by a patron who was standing in line asking people to buy him a angus burger. This place is pretty entertaining but its hostile. Expect the worst and watch your 6. You never know what’s about to happen in here

While staying in Downtown Dallas, I ran to this McDonald’s to grab a quick bite to eat. It was a frightening experience. I was accosted by several homeless people wanting money, saw a girl that was completely high asking a wall for money, and saw the police arrest a guy. My hotel overlooked McDonald’s and there were multiple times there was a cop car outside with lights on. There is some kind of scam going on, but I couldn’t figure it out. Kids with pants around their ankles(literally!) came in asking for a cup of water. They paid and passed around the receipt, all showing the employee the receipt and getting their own water. They went outside, came back inside(one by one) and showed the employee the receipt again, and were given a small bag. They hung around slapping hands and trading bags. I don’t want to make any assumptions, but something wasn’t right. I took my food and got out of there as soon as possible! Scary!

The latte was very bad! 3rd time in a row over the weekend. The West End train station as well as the surrounding areas is totally ghetto. U got all kindsa homeless ghetto looking people staring at you and looking to panhandle. If u r tourist or even a local, stay the hell out of this place unless and until u r starving. Most of these dirty folks come in, buy something for a $, and use the restroom and completely trash it making it unusable for the next person. And I have seen Scary looking Afro mamas knocking on restroom doors constantly bcos they dont have manners or patience. There is Williams Chicken next door and that is another ghetto hangout. I feel sorry for all the homeless ppl living on welfare, and other Lil Wayne looking Afro teenagers with a gangsta vibe, but they look scary and am always scared that someone might pull out a gun or a knife or ask for my wallet and phone. The only caucasian in the McDs is the pot bellied security guard who carries a beretta pistol and a karambit knife with other defensive weapons on his belt holster. Poor guy, he has such a hard job. Shame on Dallas PD, everytime I get down here from the DART at West End Station, I don’t see a single cop here. If u a tourist, getting down here to visit the aquarium or museum, keep walking on N Lamar street and cross Ross Avenue and there is a Subway out there. Its much quieter down there. Am sure they have coffee alongwith their tasty subs.

Went here to get a cup of coffee, because other places nearby either did not have any or it was not fresh. But anyhow, I’m usually in the location of this McDonald’s while I’m at work and see the activity going on around this place and it is beyond pathetic. During a previous visit to get something to drink, walking towards the entrance I had one person out of several ask me, «Can you give me some money so I can buy me something to eat?» Well, this person appeared homeless and hungry, so I replied«You can come in and I’ll buy you something.» Their response was a gesture of receiving an unsatisfactory response from me and they walked away. So I know this person was not eager to eat, but begging for money to spend elsewhere. Then one guy out of a group of teen boys outside the restaurant, standing in the way said to me, «What’s up bro? You got have a cigarette I can borrow from you?» In my mind, I said«How do you borrow a cigarette???» Can you smoke it and give it back to me as a whole cigarette??? Well of course my response was, «Sorry, I don’t smoke.» I was then given an evil look as if to say, «You lyin’ #@*$!» So as I made my way inside the restaurant, it was a WHOOOOLE different story. This is not a place for small kids, not a place for a family to eat, definitely not a place for tender ears and not a place for quick, friendly service. The ghetto riffraff that hang out inside this restaurant is ridiculous. The phrase«My N***a» is used more times in one sentence than common English words, cursing is used in a loud tone of voice by the young people that hang out inside, the tables are left littered with food containers left by previous patrons, the service is slow and unorganized and the Manager on-duty can care less about what’s going on. I eventually turned around and walked out, because it was EMBARRASSING!!! There were people waiting in line… someone’s mother, father, daughter, son, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, etc.,(old and young) that had to listen to and witness the disrespectful behavior going on inside this place. I could write more, but my advice is to stay far away as possible from this place unless you’re dying of thirst or hunger and MUST go inside to get something from this McDonald’s. This place is located beneath some expensive apartments and right on the DART Rail & Bus line, along with a William’s Chicken around the corner in the same complex. That place is a whole different story and not worth a review, but honestly… both places should close their doors and cease operations here. Apparently, the tenants in the apartments are not complaining or feel it wouldn’t do any good to complain or just avoid the area totally. I’m not even sure if the apartments here are near 50% capacity, but only the owners know. If the atmosphere or service is not a problem for some people, then by all means… enjoy! If you like a nice atmosphere, peace and quiet, quick service and like to avoid harassment from people begging for your hard earned dollar, then do not patronize this McDonald’s. It’s even worse during the summer months!

This is an absolutely horrible place. One guy works the register at night, they have a security guard that does their best to keep out the trash, but its just not possible. I would avoid this McDonalds at all costs.
