Mark Miller Color

I bought a BuyWithMe coupon for highlights, and cashed in on it a couple of weekends ago. Mark works at a salon in Addison where there is a bunch of independent people renting out rooms. So don’t expect anything fancy, it’s just him and another dude in a small room, but it’s definitely functional.
Mark does some fancy-​shmancy sounding name for highlights where he doesn’t use foils. He’s been doing this for 13 years. Well what do you know?! Getting hair color right to the root is pretty cool, and I know it’ll be a while before I need touch-​ups.
Highlights, a hair cut and styled, and then I was on my way in 2 ½ hours. I feel my hair is a little too blonde, but I still like it, and it looks better after every shampoo.
As the other reviewer said, Mark is a musician and very friendly. So it was fun to talk about Deep Ellum and hearing some stories about his band. I’m a sucker for tattooed rocker dudes.

This is the first time I have highlighted my hair and I couldn’t have asked for a better ‘first’ than Mark Miller! He completely took my idea and made it a million times better. He knows his color and what works. I had a blast too! He’s a musician as well and his partners hilarious. I definitely will come back and recommend his talents.
