Low Country Cuisine catered our lunch for 30+. The FOOD was AMAZING!!! The SERVICE was, too!!! This is a company to watch!!! We’ll definitely use them again (and again… and again…)

Best cupcakes in town by far! I love desserts and their cupcakes are amazing. Key Lime is my fav but i like every flavor I’ve tried. They are moist and the icing is soooo good. Food is excellent as well. I’ve been several times and it’s always been pleasant and quick.

Great shrimp grits and orange cupcake.
Owner/​chef/​caterer is very pleasant and handles many types of events as well as having some homemade meals prepared each day for take away such as the baked fish dinner or grits available this evening.
This means I can relax on the bench at a beautiful park on a river to eat instead of sitting in a boring restaurant. Her website has a menu detailing foods available each week for the month, so check before you go. The absent 5^th star is only for the wish of a little table and chairs on the sidewalk where I could sit if I didn’t want to go to the park or hotel to eat. I will definitely return when I am in town for business.

Enjoyed an AMAZINGLY Delicious cake prepared for a bridal shower. It was so INCREDIBLE I had to know where it came from! I was given the name and location of Low Country Quisine! The cake was large enough to take some home. My family was equally impressed. Looking forward to trying the food! :D

All I can say is, I used them to cater my wedding and my friends and family are still talking about how amazing the food was! Jolie is a top notch class act! Anything she does is done precisely and does not disappoint! Several of my friends used her for various events after my wedding because they loved her for so much and they were all pleased as well. I recommend the red velvet cake and Alma’s Mac and cheese!

Delicious!!! Better than Sprinkles Cupcakes and I love sprinkles cupcakes. I’m not a big fan of frosting but this one was the best ever. I had the banana pudding it tasted just like banana pudding and very moist. Will go back to try their food!

When I saw the name I assumed it was food, but when we walked by we saw cupcakes and cake balls in the window. I can’t speak to their food but WOW, the cake was moist and delicious and incredibly flavorful. I wish they weren’t so far away from work because I’d love to try them again (or maybe its good for me and my hips?). The woman we met was the owner and she was so sweet and helpful and encouraged us to taste test *YUM* before we decided what to buy. Absolutely great!

Attempted to try the food on 2 occasions to no avail. First time the door was locked after the opening time of 11:00 but someone answered took my lunch order but never unlocked the door for business? Second attempt planned to grab a bite at 11:00 scheduled time to open waited for 15 minutes and left. Wow, this can’t be good. For business?!

Update to my previous review. The owner contacted me about the missing meal in the to go bag, so I am updating my review to 5 stars. Looking forward to trying the shrimp and grits.

I’ve been here several times for some gourmet take out. First heard of this place through Groupon. Overall, it’s pretty delicious, but it puts your calorie count way over. I hope to have an event and get them to cater it in the near future.
Really cute set-​up when you walk into their kitchen studio. There’s a sample of cupcakes and cake balls on a serving tray for you when you walk in. Try their Peach Tea on the counter. It’s really good, however, a little bit too sweet for my taste. Check out their calendar for daily offerings.
Here are some things that I’ve tried:
Grilled chicken with mushroom cream sauce– delicious!
Garlic mashed potatoes– So Tasty! I wish I could order an entire box of it.
Alma’s mac n cheese– I love mac n cheese, but I didn’t like this one. It’s difficult to reheat, and the cheese doesn’t entirely melt. Just a plate of grease with elbow noodles. I can see and taste some eggs in it. Pass.
Shrimp & grits– Delicious! It’s only $ 5 on Thursdays. And it’s made to order. Definitely worth the $ 5, and they don’t skimp on the shrimp either.
Pecan crusted chicken– Yummy too!
Red velvet cupcake– It’s kind of dry for my taste. I’ve had better elsewhere. This is the one cupcake that they offer every day.
White velvet cupcake– That was also dry
Strawberry cupcake– My favorite cupcake from LCQ! Delicious cream cheese frosting.
Strawberry banana cupcake– YUM!
Chocolate cupcake with salted caramel– Not bad.

I had a Groupon and it literally took 6 months before I could actually place an order. No matter when I called or how far in advance I attempted to place my order, I was told the meals were sold out. The ordering instructions were not clear on the site and neither was the menu. I couldn’t believe that I kept getting told that I could not place my order. I even tried to place my order a week in advance, but to avail.
When I was finally able to place my order via email (after the expiration date), I was told to choose any meal from the following week. When I requested the Monday meal on the previous Wednesday, I received no response until after 11 am on Monday stating that I couldn’t get that order.
So I placed an order for that Friday, the only day I could actually pick up a meal, and never received a response. As I was fed up with the back and forth, I decided to go in that Friday to pick up my order– shrimp and grits and cupcakes. I went in armed with my chain of emails in case there was a problem. Upon entering, I was given a really weird look by the own and head chef. I told her what I ordered, handed her my Groupon and the emails. I then had to explain the last 6 months of my life and this horrible ordering process.
After waiting 20 minutes, I finally left with my order– a special lunch I had planned for my husband and I. The cupcake icing was good, but the cupcake itself was very dry and crumbly (cookies and cream). The shrimp and grits were very good.
Unfortunately, due to the horrible customer service, the company’s superb unorganization, and overall negative experience, I will never frequent this establishment again.

The reviews are mixed, but I can honestly say that the food was good and I will definitely be back. I, too, had a groupon. I called before the expiration date and was told they were «sold out» of groupon meals until the following week. They were very generous about letting me use the groupon BEYOND the expiration date. We had a wonderful dinner of chicken, mac & cheese, green beans and cupcakes! Having read the review about someone’s mac & cheese not being heated fully, I put it in the oven ALONE for 10 minutes then followed up with the chicken and then put the green beans in… I did this all at 350 in the oven instead of the micro.
The quality of the food was good (I’m very picky about chicken and it was very tender.) As I said before, I will definitely be back to try the Shrimp and Grits and many more of their meals. Thanks so much for helping me NOT cook after a hard day at the office. :)

This place is great! I live nearby and ordered a custom cake for my friend’s birthday. It was beautifully designed and delicious. Their red velvet is some of the best I’ve had. Plus, it was less than $ 100, which is a steal for a custom cake that serves 15 – 20 people. Great service, Jolie was very helpful in assisting with design selection, and even Googled pictures for me to have ideas to combine. Nothing but good things to say about my customer experience, and I would definitely recommend using them.

I stopped in to get some shrimp and grits, they were DElicioUs, it was my first time and definitely won’t be my last! The peach tea was really good too. The ladies there were very friendly and not much of a wait at all.

I finally used a Groupon I purchased about 6 – 8 months ago for dinner for 2 plus 2 cupcakes. I’ve been checking the menu and called 2 days ago and ordered for my pick up today. When I walked in I was greeted by two, beautiful smiling ladies. They had my order to me in a minute and there was no attitude due to this being a Groupon transaction. Dinner was a huge chicken breast with a pecan crust, green beans and Mac and cheese. The portions were huge! I loved the chicken and green beans, the Mac and cheese not so much. The cheese took forever to melt in the warming process and it left a oozing grease puddle on the plate. So overall, 3.5 stars. I will probably try a take away meal one more time before I write them off. Now those cupcakes, they were incredible…

Cupcakes are good not the best I’ve ever had but I like that you can get a home cooked Gourmet meal for one too go. Great concept here!

I purchased a Groupon for a dozen cupcakes and of course I didn’t read the Groupon. Anyway, your supposed to call ahead of time so they can frost them fresh. I didn’t, but the ladies at the front were nice about it and I waited a few short minutes and left with a dozen beautiful cupcakes. They were so amazing! The icing has a cream cheese base and it top notch! I will definitely be back to try the take away dinners!

I stopped in today to grab a quick lunch. I ended up leaving with a fabulous tuna salad and a dozen cupcakes (pink lemonade, key lime pie and to-​die-​for red velvet)!!! Enjolik and her staff are so friendly… LOVE this place and I am thinking of having them cater my next dinner party!
