Lightning Van Line

They are just awful, and made my move from California to Dallas extremely stressful. They were late, unresponsive and my stuff was damaged. I wish I would’ve read the reviews beforehand. Not worth saving money. DO NOT HIRE.

I am updating my first review because I feel the new manager, Mark, is really trying to correct this company. He personally wrote an apology letter, called me and returned my children’s stolen money. I too run a business and sometimes we have had a bad employee. I am very pleased that Lightning Van Lines has turned it around. They were very prompt during our move in August. Other than the theft, which has now been corrected, and a few broken item’s (which we packed probably incorrectly) they did a very good move for us. I feel confident now that they would do a good job if I needed to move again.

Just moved from Ft. Worth, TX to Sacramento, CA. Having moved just 2yrs priors with a great deal of stress and complications, I researched moving options thoroughly prior to this move. And I will tell you, finding a moving company with any type of positive recommendations was beyond tough! I finally found Lightning Van Lines and I’ll have to say the good reviews I did find for them, were right on! Cudos to Max (my booking, packing & shipping agent), his entire Dallas crew and Alex (my delivery rep) and his CA crew! They did a full service move; packed my entire house (1800sf /​4bdrms), disassembled, loaded, unloaded and reassembled. Their price was the best I found (had 3 other estimates) and when my belongings came in underweight I was credited accordingly. Not to mention the great job they did of packing… My belongings all arrived in great shape! As far as I’m concerned; if you’re in the market for a moving company, look no further!

The furniture arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. Carlos in Operations was also Very Helpful and Courteous. I spoke with him on several occasions and he was always professional. Without a doubt I would recommend Lightning Van Lines to anyone looking to do a long distance or local move. A Wonderful Company to work with.
