I would probably never go back to this location again. We went in to find my husband a suit and were completely ignored for over 15 minutes. No one ever said hello or we will be with you as soon as we can. Not a word or even a glance our way. So we went somewhere else. I’d recommend you do the same.

I received a set of sweaters from a friend from Jos A Bank but they were slightly larger than I prefer. I took them to the Alpha Road location for a replacement and with receipt in hand so the exchange went smoothly. They could not have been more accommodating. A couple of days later I decided the size was now okay, but not so thrilled about the colors.(yeah, I know sound picky) I went to the Downtown Dallas location on Commerce Street, right before closing time. Again, they were so accommodating and friendly. This time I did not have correct receipt, but tags were still on the merchandise so they were able to allow for a direct exchange. It was apologized about arriving so close to closing time. but they were wanting to make things right even if it meant staying over 5 – 10 minutes. The clerk even had me try on my new sweater for fit and suggested I go back to the larger after all. I’m just a simple guy but was treated with respect and professionalism as though I was someone important. I had never been to a Jos. A. Bank but plan to be a regular in the future.

In Dallas for business and noticed that one of my slacks had a rip at the seam. I went to Neiman Marcus first and slacks were $ 355(on sale from $ 450), ummm, no thanks. Jos A Bank was across the street and found a pair of slacks that was far more reasonably priced, and they finished the alteration the same day. Guys there were extremely helpful. This is a great business in downtown Dallas.

This place is a one of the few men’s stores in downtown Dallas. Since location is key for me, this place is in a prime location. Basically I can fall into this location from my building. With that being said, I walked in 1 hour before closing. And they treated me as if I was the 1st customer of the day. Yes, they rolled out the red carpet. I explained what I was looking for, the occasion and my budget. Even though they showed me some of their most expensive threads, I didn’t mind because I can’t blame them for showing off their best products. After deciding on the best color scheme, I was off to the fitting room. It only took me a few minutes to get measured for my slacks & coat. While they got all my purchases ready, I took a brief walk around the store to see what I missed. I have to admit this store is well organized. They get the best use out of every space on the floor. If you are there when they have a sale, you will get more than your money’s worth. Since this store is downtown, parking is always a challenge. You can park on Lane street, a parking garage next door or just walk if you’re already in the neighborhood. The staff was friendly, well informed and went above my expectations. I will be back.
