Dr. Jacobs is an «old school» optometrist in the age of «fast food». He is very good, thorough, and actually cares about his patients. I, and my entire family, use him, and I would recommend him to anyone needing glasses or contacts.

Dr. Jacobs is so detail-oriented that it borders on O.C.D. But that’s not a bad thing when you need something as technical as vision correction. I have nothing but good things to say about him and the treatment I received at his office. I have a very specific and difficult vision issue, and Dr. Jacobs was the best to every treat me. Wish I still lived Dallas.

Ditto! Dr Jacobs was very thorough, knowlegeable, and was not pushy like some other ODs I’ve been to. He spent over 45 minutes with me(even though he had to stay late), and was very flexible with arranging contact lens pick-up. I was quite impressed. He works at both the Zang and the Elm street location. If you go to the Elm street one, make sure you park on the lot on Griffin for the building.

Great eye doctor! I have a very difficult prescription and Dr. Jacobs is the only eye doctor — optometrist OR ophthamologist — I’ve EVER been to who has the patience and care to take the time to get my prescription RIGHT. He also personally checks your glasses to make sure they are made correctly and are adjusted properly. One warning, however… because he takes time with his patients, he often runs over and you may end up sitting in the waiting room longer than you are used to. If you don’t want to wait long, get the first or second appointment in the day.
