I came here for a friend’s Charity event. The chips and salsa were your typical, not bad. The music was a bit too loud for me. We literally had to scream at each other while talking. I’m a big NBA Fan so I did like that they had a big flat screen TV and allot of little flat screens throughout the restaurant. Allot of parking available. My niece ordered the Chicken Chimichanga Plate and said it was very very good :) I will come back and try something from the menu next time, I promise.

Checked out the Tejano happy hour on Friday. When they were across the street the place would be packed. Moving to this hidden location doesn’t seem like the best move, but I have been on another night and it was packed. Dj eman was mixing great Tejano tunes with hiphop mashes, I loved it. Luckily there was someone to dance with. Stayed longer than I planned. I have eaten here before and the food is good. Great HH prices.

For the money, the food is great. I work close by, and almost nothing will deliver to me aside from Jimmy Johns, so I decided to give this place a try just to give myself a little more variety. Ordered the combo fajitas — could use a little more seasoning, but the portion was extremely generous — with the corn tortillas instead of flour. Those corn tortillas are LEGIT. The charro beans were really good too, though the mexican rice was kinda bland. They also gave me some chips with salsa, which was a nice surprise. The red salsa was pretty average, and I don’t know what the green stuff is, but I’m a big fan. Even though they quoted me 50 – 60 minutes on the delivery time, the guy was here within half an hour(he was soooooo nice), and all my food was still really hot. A solid option for those who work over in the Stemmons Corridor, especially because of the delivery feature. I’ll be working this place into my lunch rotation from here on out.

I have placed an online order at 11:58am and asked to be delievered to my office acrossed the location and it is now 1:41 and we still have not recieved our our and my co-workers are upset at the service. I have called them twice the first time they told me 10 mins that was at 1:00 the second call was at 1:30 and once again they said another 10 mins. Supposly the kitchen got backed up and they are behind the delieveries. This is upsetting.

we came here for an event that was supposed to start about 8 and when we got there we were told the planners had moved the event to 6… wth! smh… since we were here… we decided to have a few drinks… they had a fruit punch special(supposedly had alcohol in it)…taste like dayum hawaiian punch! the prices aren’t too bad… but stop leaving the alcohol out & it’ll be a hell of a lot better lol

As i walked inside it had a Very cozy feeling inside. Its nicer when there is live music. The bar area is just the typical seating. Maybe my visit was on a Wednesday traffic was very slow. I didn’t eat at this venue so no reviews sorry The outside area has a stage for a summer concert or an event. I would return soon to visit in the summer.

If I could give it no stars, I would. But Unilocal wouldn’t even let me post this review without a star rating, so they got one by default. I’m 7 weeks pregnant, so food is very important to me right now. Mainly because I can hardly keep anything down. When I crave something, it needs to taste AMAZING or I have a complete meltdown… *CUEMELTDOWN* This was the absolute WORST TexMex food I’ve ever tasted. Being a lover of TexMex cuisine, I hardly want to even give it that label. I got the Botanas Platter. Quesadillas, nachos, flautas, and I sub’d the stuffed jalapeños(«Bullets») for extra flautas. Unimpressive does not even begin to describe it. More like bland, unseasoned, & overcooked. Literally, ALL of it is bad. Right down to this fake @$$ «chili con queso,» which is clearly melted velveeta STAYAWAYFROM J. PEPE’S!

Unable to be impressed. Went here nine/ten years ago when a fine little Italian place was in this spot… don’t think they have cleaned since. East Texas Mezican is my usual low bar, but this was HICO bad. Chicken Fajita Salad with mixed greens wife ordered arrived with cold bag chicken chunks sitting atop iceberg lettuce shaving flanked by bag yellow cheese on one side and bag white cheese on the other side… ummm! When you bite into the Taco and wish for Old El Paso, that’s NOTGOOD!

Music was freaking loud. I don’t mean loud like«hard to hear the dinner conversation» loud, I mean loud like«piercing your eardrums» loud. Food was average. Service was good.

The food is not the reason why I come here. Ask for a Top Shelf margarita. You’ll notice that on the bottom of the menu its says«two limit if you have had nothing to eat». Let’s say that its the best kept secret in dallas!

Arrived at noon, ordered at 12:15. after 45 minutes we flagged down a manager(a rare sight) and lo and behold, we got our food at 1:15… it had easily been sitting out for 20 minutes or more and was cold and completely soggy. The only person who cared less about all of this than the OWNER, was the waiter himself who just shrugged and walked away. I will NEVER return to this place, if i could give it a negative number i would. Do not waste your money.

What does one do when there is an 8 mile back up on 35 South on the way home from work? Well, one finds the first restaurant and stops to wait out traffic. I sat at the bar facing 35 so I could watch the traffic crawling along while having a beer. They brought me chips and salsa that were pretty average, but not bad. The bartenders were super friendly. Hopefully I’ll never need to stop here again, but that sure beat sitting on the freeway in the heat of the summer. ***This place is called The Alamo now. I updated the Unilocal listing.

People really 4 star? This was crappy Mexican food. Taco bell was better I couldn’t even finish my dinner. The tacos were tasteless, the burrito was bland.

Stopped here for a bite before a Dallas Stars game. I was impressed with the food. I ordered some 3 meat special. Carnitas, Fajita beef & chicken w/a Dos Equis. Rice, beans and flour tortillas were very good. Going back for sure.

I love this place. It has actually improved on the food front, but the server could have been more attentive. That is why I cannot give a 5 star… he just wasn’t there. My daughter and I went after a meeting we had close to Children’s Medical Center. She had been telling me how good they were, and I only remembered them as average, but the kids loved them, so we would go. This time changed that for me. They no longer had the verde salsa, but the red salsa made up for that! It was spicy and tangy(tomato tangy, not going bad tangy) and it was served with chips that were warm and crisp– not greasy. The chimichanga was exactly like I dream of. It was crisp,(again not greasy– but hot) with tender fajita chicken, onions, and cheese. It was served with sour cream and pico on the side, guacamole, rice and beans. The menu did not mention the beans, so that was a surprise. My daughter had the same and was very pleased, as well. She had ordered a Coke and received a refill as we were leaving, because the waiter did not come to our table except to take our order, deliver the food, and bring the check. I would have appreciated a more attentive server, but the food was delish! They had been remodeling the last time I was here, and they look nice. They have a nice new patio– good for gathering. :)
