Fantastic customer service! :)
Here’s what happened:
I purchased a pair of jeans from JCrew Mercantile across the freeway, and while checking out I asked the associate there about a recommendation for a tailor to have the inseam tailored to better fit my super skinny ankles. According to him, I could take them across the freeway to the JCrew store in NorthPark and they would have them altered for me free of charge. Yippee!
At JCrew, I relayed the information I’d been given to Charles about the alteration, and he let me know that typically they only send in items that need basic hemming… tailoring, not so much. However, because I’d been told that they could do it, he went ahead and accommodated me and accepted my jeans to go out with their next batch of alterations. Even if their tailors do not accept my requested alteration, I’m still really happy with the customer service I received at JCrew from Charles!

Love the new look of this location! I came to shop around on re-​opening day and they had sparkling water and yummy hors d’oeuvres. The size of the store has not changed and the layout is similar, but you can tell something is different. Lighter wood and a more fresh appearance. I’ve always enjoyed shopping at J. Crew because they have comfortable clothing and great service. Their jewelry is so much fun to wear and the shops (especially the flip fops) are super comfortable to walk around in all day.
