Good cigar lounge in Victory, major plus that is stays open late. They cater to more of a upscale customer being that they are in that area. The seating area in pretty small but when there’s nice weather you certainly want to take advantage of their patio overlooking the W hotel and the AAC. Drinks are id say club prices i. e $ 6 for a domestic l. Cigars are pricey with selections of major tobacco producers like cohiba. Personally their hand roll cigar selection is great and moderately priced and definitely a winner in my book. Highlights: hand rolled selection & late operating hours.

Love the owners! Go before a game or concert at AAC! You can order food from nearby partnering restaurant too! Ask for the coolest bartender, Mallory!

This is not the same Havana Social Club that it one was! Anyone going here must know that it has changed ownership and also changed the appeal that it once had. If you’re looking for the warm, woodsy Cuban-like lounge that once occupied this space, you’ll be sadly mistaken. It has been remodeled to reflect a more industrial, club-y feel. This will appeal to many customers like the many club-goers who now frequent the area, so I can’t fault the new ownership, but it’s not my personal taste. The night I went, it was their«reopening» event. To their credit, they did have a gentleman rolling cigars, but what they did not have was a humidor; I was told that it would be arriving later. In the meantime, for this event, they were selling handmade cigars. I wasn’t thrilled with the new décor and atmosphere, but the hand rolled cigars looked great and kept me in the doors for the rest of the night. From here though, it went downhill. Since the hand rolled cigars were unmarked, I had to ask what types of tobacco they were made of. The third employee I asked was able to tell me, however not confidently as the descriptions of the cigars were handwritten on a piece of paper that the cigar roller had before he left for the night. I picked a couple that were described as only being Nicaraguan & Cambodian. Not the amount of detail of was looking for, but enough to make an educated guess as to what they would taste like. I ordered the mojito, the Havana Social Club’s signature drink(at least it was), but they did not have all the ingredients to make one. I asked for a caipirinha, but they could not make one of those either. They did have a decent selection of rums, but when I asked what they suggested I mix it with to compliment the flavor, the staff suggested that I could mix it with coke. This appears to be a bad suggestion given that expensive, imported rums should be more properly served than with coke, which would essentially drown out the flavor. After an hour of so when I finished the first cigar, I ordered a second, but by time the owner had left and taken with him all of the remaining cigars. This puzzled me the most. If this is your reopening event and there are still customers there, why take every cigar in the establishment home? That makes no sense. Wouldn’t they want to make an additional sale, or is the new owner more interested in stuffing his humidor at home rather than making money? Lastly, even though the Saturday hours were clearly marked on the door and on the website, they still closed up shop an hour early with no explanation. I would have ordered at least another drink and cigar if they had stayed open until 2 am as they advertised. The best part of the evening was the waitress who, despite the circumstances, did her best to be accommodating and for the most part did so exceedingly well. My complaint has to do with the establishment itself and not the staff, with the exception of the owner. This place could be a decent cigar joint again, but not without major changes and improvements. Sadly, I won’t be going back.

I called to make sure they were open, but just got the answering machine. Ubered it over there only to discover they are closed for major remodeling. I looked inside and the whole place is torn up. No message on their machine and no sign on their door. Very weak customer communication.

My usual go to spot for a smoke. However, went by on 7 – 2 and the windows were covered up and it’s either being renovated or closing down.

Best cigar bar in Dallas. Very good people watching and really nice atmosphere. Very good air quality and ventilation as well and good selection of cigars. The speciality drink is a mojitio

I don’t smoke but this is a very well designed«slice of Havana» where the Cuba Libres are top of the town. Relaxing place to hang out on the patio when the weather is nice. Service is top notch. I recommend this Victory Plaza establishment.

Went in on a Saturday night while visiting Dallas. Had a great, relaxed evening. Even though it was packed and they were understaffed(bar back called out), the main associate was very accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my Davidoff Tubos 2000! As many others have said, the ventilation was excellent and you could actually see the smoke being sucked into the vents. Would highly recommend if you’re in the neighborhood.

Saturday night and I’m the only one here! Nice lounge. Good cigars. Good drink choices. I like the negative comments about flip flops. Flip flops are for beaches, pools, and public showers, not lounges! Don’t bring your own cigars; it’s a cigar bar, not a place for you to smoke your own. They have bills to pay just like the rest of us. Sure you can buy cigars and drinks for less elsewhere. I go to these lounges for the atmosphere, although tonight it’s empty. It’s a great lounge. I enjoyed my beer and Rocky Patel 1990.

Fun place. Ventilation is very good, relaxing environment. Only 1 employee working but he was attentive and handled our group of 4 without issue. Will be back to try it again on a weekend evening

This is an awesome place to chill and smoke cigars. They serve drinks and the music was great. That’s if you like the latest music. It’s a trendy place and has a patio outside. The service is great. They had a nice selection of cigars however some may be over priced due to convenient. The best part is they close at 2AM.

Warning, I don’t smoke cigars, my husband does. I have no idea what kinds of cigars they sell or have stocked… because, I don’t care. :-) I brought my husband to Havana as a Pre-Valentine’s day hoorah as he loves his cigars. I picked Havana’s because of the women’s reviews stating that they didn’t leave out smelling like cigars and smoke. This gives them three stars before even reviewing anything else because, while I’m not a cigar smoker, I like to hang out with my husband but I hate leaving with my hair and clothes smelling like I just stepped out of the firey pit but Havana has an awesome air filter system to where you don’t smell gross when you leave. #win The next reason I chose Havana’s was because they have a happy hour, one caveat to that is — it’s not available on game or event days. We just happened to go on a Stars game night so, no happy hour for us *sad face* but that didn’t stop us from enjoying a few drinks while he smoked his cigar. They have awesome drinks! The mojito, which you’ll read about in several reviews was very good, the best I’ve had in while but what really made me happy was the Cuban Sangria! DEFINITELY a must try! They have a membership club that seems pretty secretive as there isn’t any information on their website or in the actual club about costs/benefits. I’ll probably give them a call to inquire about it because I think he’ll enjoy having a go-to spot for his cigar nights. I took away one star because of parking — it sucks… ESPECIALLY on game/event days. We kept having to tell the traffic directors we weren’t going to the Stars game and we weren’t trying to steal parking — one of the bad things about being located right at the doorsteps of the American Airlines Center!

Attended a daytime party here for about an hour and a half. Even though the location itself is on the small side, the bar did well in getting everyone’s drinks to them in a reasonable amount of time. And it didn’t take long for us to get help with some cigar selections either. The seating downstairs is pretty modern, with couches and chairs along the perimeter. Upstairs, the sofas and tables are a little more stylized, since it’s a VIP lounge type of area. They also have a nice balcony up there to view the downstairs floor. In addition, there’s also an outdoor patio area — perfect for smoking those cigars. And I must add that they filter the air well. Even with our cigars, there wasn’t a smoky smell to the place. Would definitely go back.

A buddy and I went to the this joint in Victory Plaza after we had seen a show at House of Blues. It’s a typical cigar bar: dark, leather seats, large bar. I will say, it had a great ventilation system. Not smoky at all, I was surprised. Given that it’s a Cuban themed restaurant, they had a lot of rum based drinks. I’m not a rum guy, but they have a nice assortment of top shelf liquor as well, including some good scotches. But, like I said, the focus is on rum. There is a nice selection of cigars in addition to the liquor. And, the seats were pretty comfortable. Given all of this(above average liquor selection, comfy seats, good cigars) why am I only giving this place 2 stars? Service. We were not treated well during the time we were there. First of all, we were seated in a sort of living room area that had a couch with a few large leather chairs. After being seated, a manager came over and told us he’d have to make us leave if a large group arrived. I pointed out that we intended to sit and have a few drinks and enjoy a cigar. So, we weren’t going to simply take up the real estate, we planned on spending some money. He was insistent(to the point of being rude). A group did sit down with us about a half hour later, fortunately for us the group was small enough, so we were given the privilege of staying. In addition to the surly attitude from the manager, we didn’t get great service from our server as well. The place was hopping, but it wasn’t full. And, it’s Friday night, they should expect a busy night. So, this place has everything going for it but customer service. This is a big issue for me, hence the 2 stars.

I visited last night with a friend to have some cigars/rum to celebrate my engagement. I have another regular cigar spot in Addison but HSC is open later so we decided to come check it out. We spent $ 35 on an Über to drive us there so we could properly enjoy the rum selection without worrying about a drive afterward. When we arrived, we were immediately asked to leave due to the flip flops I was wearing. However, nothing about a dress code was mentioned on their website: we were not even permitted to look at cigars to enjoy elsewhere. I recognize their right to refuse service at their discretion, but I reserve the right to be displeased about it. It cost another $ 35 Über to get us back home 5 minutes later. That’s $ 70 to come in and have their dress code told to us in person. This was a terrible way to celebrate and a huge let down given that we are big cigar and rum fans, loved the look of the place and were very much forward to trying it out. But I guess nothing tells such a fine establishment about the quality of a patron like the shoes they wear on a hot summer night in Texas. I hope they will consider adding this vital information online so prospective customers are not blindsided in the future.

I’m not a cigar smoker, but this place has the BEST mojitos I’ve ever had!!! I think they add a couple drops of bitters to the drink, which gives the traditionally sweet drink a bitter edge – that I really enjoy. I will usually stop by for a drink after a game at AA, but I’ve actually made the trek out here on a random night just to enjoy a mojito. Definitely a place to check out for a drink or two after an AA visit or if you’re in the area.
