No matter how many food trucks hit the scene, I will keep Green House at the top of my list. No matter what I order, I always leave wow-ed and craving more. It’s like I never want it to end! Green House serves up some of the freshest salads and sandwiches, which are perfect for those of us that want something healthy and quick! My personal favorite is the portabello sandwich. A delicious ciabbata roll topped with plump and juicy slices of marinated portabello, topped with sauteed onions and bell peppers and pesto — this sandwich is really something I crave regularly.

3.5 stars, if Unilocal would allow for half stars. I was excited to see Green House at the Klyde Warren Park opening downtown. Their sign was tiny and written on a whiteboard along with their menu items, not the best advertising but maybe that was temporary. I got the steak sandwich which tasted fresh & delicious, especially with the basil pesto & grilled veggies. The steak was medium rare — rarer than I’d like but not bad. For $ 6, I was expecting a larger sandwich than the kiddy size they served. But it was good food and I’ll give their soups and rice bowls a try next time.

I really wanted to like this truck! A green /healthy food truck= awesome. What my friend had seemed way better, the chicken salad sandwich. I had a chicken bowl I believe it was called. It seemed like typical fried rice with soy sauce and some not so great chicken. I was hoping to open the box and have something blow me away since I heard how healthy it is but it was fast food tasting. The sweet potato wedges needed some crisp. The skin on there was a bummer and a bit soggy.

I love having my food truck adventures. Today I tried out the Green House. It was delicious. I had the chicken sandwich with sweet potato wedges. I was expecting more of the wedges, but it ended up being just enough. It was all very flavorful and yet light too. I did not feel bloated or weighed down. I will go back. I would like to try the rice bowl next time. The owner came to where my co worker and I were sitting and asked us if we liked it too, which was nice. He seems to really care about his business.

I think this truck was just okay. I had the portabello rice bowl. It just did not taste like much of anything. Kind of bland. It could have used some more chili, spice, sesame oil etc. It was not seasoned all that well. I think I could have ordered the wrong thing because the other reviewers say positive things about this truck. The service was okay as well. Not fantastic but come on let me take your order and move on kinda thing. I like the idea of green house just not sold on the food.

My friend and I ate here today for lunch and were extremely satisfied. I had the red curry chicken soup, which was delicious especially on a chili day. I also had the miso steak sandwich, with roasted veggies and pesto spread on divine bread. My friend had the miso steak rice bowl. Both were seasoned to perfection. I plan on visiting this truck again and again, and I suggest you do the same!

Found this truck over on Metromedia place(just off Mockingbird and I-35) today. Had the chicken brown rice ‘bowl’ and shared a portabello ciabatta and a bowl of butternut squash soup with a friend(I know, gluttonous!). Everything was delicious. The sandwich was amazing — definitely not too much bread as another reviewer complained. The rice was a little bit saltier than I would have seasoned it had I been the chef, but that presumably varies bowl by bowl with how much soy sauce ends up in the stir fry. The veggies were cooked perfectly and were all fresh. They even have vegan cookies and soups if you’re into that kind of thing. The guys who run the truck are really nice and will split up your order 50 – 50 with different proteins on request. Will definitely be back!

Thank god Dallas is welcoming something like this… an environmentally conscious food truck! I’m sure I sound like a snob but a food truck that uses all biodegradable and compostable utensils, I never would have imagined in Texas. I am so happily surprised by Green House Truck. The side rice — 4 stars. Taste was on point,(I think they used sesame seed oil. my FAVORITE oil!) but the serving size pretty small. The lemon chicken sandwich-3 stars. I ain’t gonna lie, I could mostly taste the ciabatta bread. I recommend using another type of bread that’s not as overpowering. Overall, I’m happy this place exists and give it 3 stars for its potential.

Zoinks! This truck is good! This week the menu was Asian fusion steak tacos, chicken tomatillo taco and balsamic grilled veggie taco. Was so good I wished they’d get a supper spot in Plano once every week or two. I hope this business succeeds bc it’s unique and tasty!!! ***HINTHINT, Guys, SUPPERINPLANO every couple weeks****
