I really wanted to try this place, but there was only one person working the entire resturant. Sat myself –waited over 10 minutes to be asked my order, nothing… now I’m hangry. If I didn’t have a flight to catch I’d be more patient. It’s hard to find vegan food on the go. If you don’t have time to wait don’t come here.

Extremely nice people. They bring out an amazing soup first and it’s so delicious. I ordered the spring rolls and the phở. It was so good, the spring rolls were the best I have ever tasted. The phở felt very healthy and tasted amazing! My boyfriend ordered the bbq wrap and the crispy strips. The crispy strips were so good! They tasted like chicken, but they weren’t! He really liked his wrap too. I will most definitely be back there more!

This place is pretty empty at lunch time so it’s great for a quiet getaway. I’ve tried a couple of dishes and they were very good! The staff and owners are friendly as well. On a cold day, the soup and jasmine tea really hit the spot. Great for omnivores too!

My brother is a meat eater, I am a semi-vegetarian trying desperately to go vegan. We decided to try out this lovely place based on the reviews and the«100% Vegan» promise. My brother was VERY skeptical. I was excited. We had appetizers, a main course and dessert. Both the spring rolls and the crispy rolls were fantastic! My brother had the sweet and sour chick’n. I had the BBQ wrap. I have never had so-called«fake meat», but this stuff was AMAZING. My brother nearly licked his plate. I had hot green tea, but my brother had the Thai Tea, which he liked so much that he wanted to go back just for the tea. Then we had the cheesecake. VEGAN cheesecake. There is NO way that is VEGAN! It was amazing. And the owner was absolutely wonderful. He didn’t hover, even though the place was nearly empty(we were there right before the afternoon close), but he answered every single question we had. Everyone else is right, this is an undiscovered gem and deserves a lot more customers. I’m on a crusade to make sure they get more!

This restaurant is a great way to please vegans and non-vegans alike(I love veggies but am not vegan). Dishes like noodles, fried rice, crispy egg rolls, and phở are familiar comfort food, or be more adventurous and try the many traditional dishes featuring faux meat like shaken beef. I have had mixed feelings about faux meat in the past, but I found myself eating my girlfriend’s shaken beef in addition to my own delicious stir-fried noodles with tofu. The restaurant has been under new ownership for the past year(it used to be called New Veggie Garden and feature a daily buffet), and the food has clearly been upgraded in quality, flavor, and freshness. If you still want your buffet, they’ve got it on Sundays. Give it a try, you’ll like it!

I went recently after the ownership change after seeing this place on my commute a dozen of times. There hours of operation are different, so make sure to check before you go. I like the vegan concept — I’ve always been fascinated with the fake meat. Since it’s asian cuisine, the fake meat is taken to a different level. While quite tasty, I don’t think this place is as healthy as it may seen — still lots of oil cooked with the food. With that said, owner is nice. I also like the whole concept with Ahimsa(nonviolence) and Buddhism. Take note of the pamphlets and posters on the walls. Read it — it’s quite enlightening and informative. Easy to take out and an obvious passion that goes into making the food.

When we arrived for dinner, it was a Wednesday night and there wasn’t one other person there. We were the only customers the whole time we were there. It made me so sad, because the food is very good! If you go you MUST try his cheesecake. He told us he had the best vegan cheesecake we’ve ever had. I think it’s safe to say it’s the best cheesecake. Period. that I’ve ever had. We took another slice home with us. The only down side is that you do have to get there closer to the opening time than to the closing time because things to start to get old if you are eating the buffet. The owner is such a nice man, go try it out if you haven’t already!

DELICIOUS vegan food! I wish they had more customers because it’s family owned and you can tell they put so much love and detail into everything. I highly recommend the sweet & sour chikn and coconut juice. Owners are so kind and friendly and the variety is awesome. LOVE this place and will continue to visit it!

This place is 100% vegan. The ambiance is great. not too noisy and not to quite. The service was fast and friendly. We had the Saiten crips, rolls, roll noodle bowl. For drinks we had the Draft rootbeer, Chabaa Mando nectar and Jasmine Green tea. The tea was sooo good: D. All of our food was fresh tasting. The flavor on point and served hot. To finish it off, we had vegan cheese cake !!! It was a bit softer than the regular but it was so tasty! Over all, this place is awesome! Plan on coming back! Me happy!

This place used to be amazing but they switched ownership in the last year and the new owners switched up the recipes and cut the menu size in half(removing all of my favorites). It’s not nearly as good as it used to be– I’m too disappointed to go back.

Needed a vegetarian place close to where I work and went to check out this place. The food is really good when it is fresh. However, it won’t be so fresh if you come later in the lunch buffet hours and the choices will be slim. They usually have a sesame chicken and some tofu dishes. They had lemongrass tofu today and it was really tasty! I was going to give it 3 stars for stale food in the later hours of the lunch buffet but the owner is very nice and he’ll make new food for you if one of the trays runs out!

Good vegan buffet. There are not a lot of options on the buffet, but the dishes offered are good. Also, it’s only $ 9.99 — drink included. That is a great deal price wise. My favorite dish was the sautéed wide rice noodles with bean sprouts. I think the lunch buffet dishes change a little either daily or weekly. The kimchi was very spicy and delicious. That was the only cold offering I tried. There was also veggie rolls, sushi, soup, tempura, soy«chicken» and broccoli in brown sauce, salad, chips and salsa(go figure, LOL!), and a few other items. I would have given it 4 stars, but hot food options are not plentiful, and the vegetables in the fried rice were burned. Also, the super tiny dessert squares are not tasty. A simple mixed fresh fruit offering would have been a better option.

Dined 3 times(so far) — when it was Veggie Garden — items were tasty, but hit or miss. Sometimes I loved everything on the buffet, and other times I’d love ½. Grant it, if I had actually dined in, I could take my time to sample 1st, then fill up on the ‘good stuff’. When I’m in that area, I like to get carryout from here bc I can always count on leaving with a box full of good veggie food. Looking forward to trying the new ‘Goji’. Hopefully, they kept the staff bc the VG staff was very warm & friendly.

Accidentally found this gem a few weeks ago and absolutely LOVE this place! I’ve been back about 3 or 4 times and have brought my meat eating family,(actually I was invited by them bc they also loved it so much). As a vegan, I greatly appreciate all 100% vegan place(especially in Texas), but this place brings on the flavor! Kung pao chicken is delicious with its fresh/never over cooked crisp veggies. Completely drool worthy! Sweet and sour chicken had the perfect sauce with prefect veggies and what I believe is their house made seitan chicken. Bun/vermacelli bowl had fresh veggies and the faux shredded meat was amazing. It also comes with vegan fish sauce(I spiced mine up with hot oil sauce) and roll. They have peanut sauce too! Chicken strips appetizer was also a great hit! Friendly staff, clean eating area, clean restrooms, always has parking available and great price range. This place has become our new go to Chinese spot. Totally recommend this restaurant to ALL people.

I absolutely love this place! I can eat delicious dishes guilt free. The staff is super nice and welcoming. The cook is amazing! If you order stuff from the menu they will make whatever changes you desire. I love eating here do to the variety and they have wifi!!! I would definetely recommend this place. If you’re going for the buffet which closes at 3pm, I would recommend showing up no later than 1:45pm. Just like any typical small business that offers buffets, there are more fresh choices during the first 2 ½ hrs. Which is great! I totally agree with not being wasteful! They use fresh fine ingredients. I have ate in the finest vegan and vegetarian restaurants in nyc, Denver, and Dallas-Fort Worth area. I would pick this place along with D’vegan(owned by the same owner as Goji café) as part of my top 3 favorites!

I read Jon L.‘s review, and I have a similar complaint that he does. First, let me start by saying that I’m a fan of Goji Café, and I will return. I looked at the reviews and I looked at their menu before I came. Vegan restaurants are rare in these parts, so whenever I spot one, I try to check it out! Fortunately this one is a few miles down the street from my workplace in Las Colinas. I was close, I was starving, so onward I went. The layout inside was nice. Huge television on the wall. A lot of seating room in the dining area. Nice layout, clean, so far so good. The lady that met me at the door motioned me to the buffet. All of the stuff that I was looking at on the menu looked so good! I started to say something about ordering, but she continued to motion me to the buffet, so for some reason I kept heading that way and picked up a plate. It was slim pickings on the buffet. I initially got some fried rice, which looked like it was sitting there for a while. I tried the sesame chicken and broccoli, and some potatoes. The soy/broccoli dish was soo good, but there was hardly any left in the tray. The rice was sticking together, and the grains were kind of hard. Most of the food was good, but you could tell it had been sitting out for a while. I went back for seconds, got some more soy/broccoli, then got some rice out of the steamers that are located near the drinks. Sooo much better! I came in at 2pm, way after the lunch rush. The food was good, and I can only imagine how good it is when it’s hot and fresh. I will definitely be back. Hopefully they either keep the buffet fresh and full, or start closing earlier after lunch.

I really, really wanted this place to be a five star location. As a pescatarian, non-Indian or pizza buffets are not usually fruitful hunting grounds. And the options here sounded great. Unfortunately, my daughter and I showed up at 2:30 on a Saturday, and they had clearly not prepared anything new for the buffet in hours. I did give them a look as I scooped the fake beef and broccoli, and they brought out some more, and you could see from the green vs. gray/brown broccoli just how old it was. The food had a nice level of spiciness, and the place was clean. One minor annoyance was the owner’s kids running around making all sorts of noise. All in all, I would go back if it was 11 or 12, but these folks really need to step up their game if they’re going to stay in business.

First, yes, I’m vegan so I was pretty stoked to find a vegan restaurant less than 10 minutes from my apartment. It’s a shame that I’ve been living in Las Colinas for over a year now and only just discovered Goji. I plan to make up for all the lost time. Goji and I are about to get into a committed relationship. Boyfriend and I were so excited about eating here(finally) that we ordered $ 60 worth of food. It’s safe to say that we pretty much tasted the whole menu. Everything we had was phenomenal! We started out with the spring rolls and while not quite my ‘thing’ the rest of our dinner went up from there. He ordered the zucchini phở but I ended up eating most of it. The broth was incredible because it was made out of veggies! It’s so nice to eat somewhere where you’re not worrying whether or not a dead animal’s carcass was used to flavour up the soup. He had 2 entrees while I had 1 but we both ordered another entrée each ‘to-go’. It was supposed to be «lunch for tomorrow» but ended up being a late night meal. I don’t really dine on alternative meat products on the daily(smoothies, veggies, and non-gmo tofu all the way) but this was a nice change if I ever wanted to eat cruelty-free. I would much rather eat«fake» meat than eat the decaying body parts of animals who only wanted to live. My only wish is that they would incorporate more veggies into their menu instead of relying on alternative meat products because it was in almost every dish(why I gave only 4-stars). In the future, I hope they make some menu changes. The zucchini phở was incredible. Do more interesting things like that. You don’t need«fake meat» to make a meal appetizing or even interesting. Plants are life and they are what makes a meal(even a non-vegan meal because when you think about it, meat is seasoned with plants).

Suddenly started another predictable health kick ad decided to do vegan food for dinner. I was driving to my hotel and stumbled upon this place. Now I do vegan more out of obligation than out of any personal pleasure but this place was actually pretty good. I started with the salad sushi which is like a korean kimbab, brown rice with carrots, tomato, and avocado wrapped in seaweed. It tasted good but wouldn’t say exceptional. It lacked the gusto usually found with fish or meat(usually found in these rolls) but it still managed to stand on its own. The spicy hot pot on the other hand was delicious. Portions are big and the taste has a pretty hearty flavor. It is a bit salty though which I’m sure helps you forget that there’s no real meat in the dish. This may be a home run for vegans but for a guy who just had Burger King last night, I would say that the place was a solid four stars. Also tea should ALWAYS be free.
