Amazing tacos. I have yet to find a better cheap taco stand. salsas are good and the burritos aren’t even $ 4 and they’re pretty big. $ 1.50 tacos. Yum. No crap meat.

I’m not gonna lie, I went here for the taco stand that is set up inside an old service bay. You enter through the Fuel Town entrance and then turn right and go to the half-door. The tacos were quite tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

I guess you might call me spoiled, or even a gas station snob. I have an odd loyalty to QuikTrips because of their brightly lit stores that are clean with friendly employees who greet you as soon as you enter. Unfortunately there was no QT around when I needed to make a fuel stop in this neighborhood. This place has none of those things. It’s dirty, grimy, and smells bad. The restroom floor was overflowing with water(and who knows else) and the hand dryer barely had any force. The only redeeming quality? They weren’t out of gas when I needed it.

Whenever I see a new taqueria in a gas station I pretty much have to stop there. This is my second Fuel Town location I’ve been to but I thought the other was much better. It was probably not a smart idea to go to Fuel City on the same day as Fuel Town but I did, and it cannot hold up overall. It’s a decent taco joint. The meats are flavorful but the tacos lack finesse. They were overloaded with meat and kinda got the tortillas soggy. The Al Pastor was the best one I had, the Barbacoa was nice, but the Carnitas were really not good. Fatty, no spice, soggy, and not appetizing at all. Once you have eaten at a lot of taco stands, you begin to realize the magic going on at Fuel City is not something easily replicated.
