What is not to love about this place! It’s beautiful and relaxing! Staff is amazing and the products smell so amazing! I always stock up while there! Prices are on the high side but you can assume that by the name. The cuts are amazing!!! I have never walked out hating my hair!

This is my third review for the salon and it has been almost two years since my last and I have never been to a salon that is more consistently fabulous. Tony is not only a creative genius, he is one of the finest most joyful persons you will ever know. He is wise beyond his years and delightful as well. I am older now and he could easily get me out the door with any style, but he takes time to make sure every haircut and style is fabulous! Young or old, he is a young man with talent, character, professionalism, and charm. Best cut and color in the city –all this and humanity.

I went to another salon that did a disastrous color on my hair. It was baaaaaad. At the suggestion of a friend, I went to Fekkai on Monday for a color correction consultation. Jessica looked at my hair and spent about 15 minutes discussing how we could fix it and what she would do. I booked an appointment for Friday, along with a Blow Out by Tony. Jessica did such an amazing job… She covered up the hacked color and gave me exactly what I wanted. She listened to my ideas and showed me pictures that would work best with my face. The color is gorgeous. Suits me perfectly. My hair looks amazing. The blow out with Tony… Wow!!! He gave me full sexy hair!!! I need to find a way to steal him and make him live with me so he can do this to my hair every day!!! The entire staff is impeccable from making sure your champagne is always full to moving your stuff from station to station. Yes, it’s pricey… But seriously worth every single penny AND the drive from Fort Worth. You won’t be disappointed.

So, I’ve never been to a salon this high end, and I’ve heard mixed things about Fakkai salons. I had my cut done by Julian and my hair color done by Amanda(?). My cut was FANTASTIC! He gave me something easy to maintain and that looked good with hair that I had utterly damaged by trying to bleach my own head. They should call these stylists necromancers because they brought my hair«back from the dead». It was nothing but cotton candy fluff, but with their help it became sleek and shiny once again. I went back in for a gloss to upkeep my hair and they did a great job as well. I do need a trim, but overall my hair and the cut has held up astonishingly well and is growing out beautifully! Will, of course, keep coming back again and again! Also, keep in mind, the massage chairs when you get your hair washed, I seriously never want to get up from them!

Julien cuts my hair here and he is AMAZING. It’s always a pleasure to get my haircut. Everyone is extremely friendly, professional and goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. The salon is modern looking, but still comfortable. I always look forward to my appointments. It is definitely more than I have paid for a haircut, but is worth it. I get compliments all the time.

I had my hair blown out with Elizabeth on 4÷6÷11 and couldn’t have been more pleased. She asked the right questions and delivered exactly as promised– all in under 40 minutes! The manager welcomed me and introduced herself and the desk staff could not have been more friendly. And make sure you ask for Spencer– he gives the most relaxing shampoo!

Granted I have not had the luxury of paying to have my hair done here I have been a «model» many times. Their work is great! They have pushed me to leave my Dallas blonde and be more adventurous. Went from bieng a blonde with long layers l to having a very slick bob with bangs in a cinnamon color that I absolutly love. Let them do their thing and you wont regret it.

I hadn’t gotten a real cut or color in over six months. Since moving to the Dallas area two years ago, I have received some pretty bad haircuts. It didn’t matter if I paid $ 12 or $ 100, I still got a bad cut. It took me a long time to select a salon that I thought I would be able to trust. Let me just say that I received a manicure, color, and cut at Frederic Fekkai in Dallas today and I couldn’t be more pleased! Not only were the staff friendly(but not phony friendly), they also knew what they were doing. For my manicure, I had Joe Flores… he was magnificent! It was well worth it! I have natural nails and will not let anyone touch my nails usually, but I will go back to Joe for sure! Hands are his business! For color, I had Rachael Gatenby. She is a lovely girl who knows her color! She did a perfect deep brown, not too dark, not too light! When my color was done, I moved to Grace who shampooed and massaged my scalp, which was awesome, I thank you guys! And for the part that made me the most nervous, my haircut. For that, I had Derek Sansone. He assessed my profile while I was standing and immediately spotted areas where I knew needed help. I felt confident from the moment I sat down that he would do an excellent job! I absolutely love it! I highly recommend this salon who has now earned my business despite being pricey. I consider excellent service by the reception staff, perfect nails, precise color, and the best haircut I have had in two years to be well worth the price!

Okay, maybe it’s not fair for me to write a review considering I haven’t actually had my hair done here … however, I did attend the opening. So I’ll add this DISCLAIMER: this review is based on my impressions only!(Not on hairdressing quality!!!) This place is like a homing beacon for the bleached blond, tanned-to-the-max, 95-pound Dallas women who couldn’t be more generic. I can’t tell one from the other. Can anyone? It’s so pristine inside it looks like a lock of hair would dirty up the place. I’m not sure if it’s actually designed for hairdressing … or just for rich snobs to mingle and impress each other. Either way, I would not be getting my hair done here. I’m sure it’ll be packed with Highland Parkers who simply must have a «Fekkai» ‘do … except he doesn’t actually cut hair here. And when on rare occasion he does, it’s $ 750 a pop. Otherwise, prices are like $ 125 and up for a haircut. Personally, that’s a little out of my price range. And even if I could afford it, I don’t think I’d waste my money … not unless they could work miracles.
