I love FCG. They have great food, lots of choices that change daily and yummy margaritas. Marshall & Kevin are my favorite waiters there! Can’t wait to go back.

Yesterday, our neighbor treated us to this restaurant, it was our first time coming, but she had been many times before. The wait time wasn’t to bad, but it was worth it all in the end! My husband and I had the Fish n Chips, coleslaw, and our neighbor had the Fish Tacos! The tarter sauce is to die for, it’s smooth, creamy and tasty, loved, loved, loved it all! Later we all had desert, we asked the waitress to surprise us, she brought back the bread pudding and key lime pie… WOW! I’ve never had bread pudding, it just never looked good to me, but I have to admit, it was awesome! We will be returning. Thank you for great food and service!!!

Could have been so much better except our waitress, Katheryne,(that’s the name on the ticket) could not have cared less about our happiness. The food is very good, which is the main thing. I had a shrimp po boy with roasted jalapeño soup. Companions had fried shrimp and red fish and everyone like what they got. But it was a pain, when I’m spending over $ 100 for our party, that have to go to the servers and ask for tabasco and butter and other things because Katheryne, our waitress, was sitting at another table with some other folks visiting and enjoying her time on the clock sitting with patrons instead of waiting on her tables. She cost Fish City another star.

Love the new fall drinks. I got the Fish City Pumpkin and it was great. Reminded me of a drink called The Velvet Hammer at the Railhead years and years ago.

Service never disappoints. Fish is cooked perfect. Seasonal drinks are a treat — especially the Holiday Egg Nog.

We come here a few times a year with my parents, who live in the neighborhood. Over the years I’ve come to appreciate this place more and more. The service is great and the food is steady and always good. I always order one of the blackboard specials and am never disappointed. The latest one I ordered was a grilled salmon dish with a crazy-good side of a creamed corn/shrimp/andouille sausage mix. The regular menu dishes are fine but somewhat boring. Stick with the specials! Sometimes I order their special seasonal drinks and those are always good, though the day after Christmas they were out of 2 of the 3(the mulled wine and the egg nog). I wanted the egg nog but was told the bartender was«too busy» to make more until later that day(he didn’t look busy since there were two people at the bar and everyone else in the restaurant who was drinking had wine). That was a disappointment but pretty much the only one I’ve experienced here. The desserts are ok, but nothing exciting. The key lime pie and pecan cobbler are the usual ones we all order and both are good. I’d like to see them have some seasonal desserts or specials but it’s always been the same choices on the menu since we’ve been coming here year after year. And we’ll keep coming here since it’s one of the few places my dad doesn’t gripe about. If they can keep pleasing an 89 year old grump then I guess they’re ok by me.

Don’t miss this opportunity! There are thousands of restaurants literally in Dallas. However, «Fish City Grill» rocks and tops all of them. The ambiance, friendly people. including their guests. It then came down to the service and food. I’ll save the best for last. The food was outstanding across the board. Appetizers fresh fish selection you name it they nailed it. What topped it all off was the service my gosh Gloria was absolutely amazing incredible. How lucky was I to experience the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. There you have it fish City Grill and a sweet Service of Gloria was out of this world. Thank you so much fish City Grill. I’ll be back, back and back again! Thanks a million.

I’ve been here several times and every time the service has been amazing! They have the most friendly staff, today we had Courtney and she was just on top of everything and had the biggest smile. The food has always been great and I’ve tried many dishes. What an amazing neighborhood restaurant.

Our table had oysters, calamari, fried pickles, fish tacos and the trout special. Not a bite was left. Staff was attentive and helpful.

Parking is a nightmare but worth the trouble and walk. Calamari and lump crab sandwich is Fabulous. Cooked perfectly. A short wait but staff offered drinks to help past the time which was only 10 minutes!!! We will return after the holidays.

We waited in line for 20 minutes before being sat at a table. They offered us popcorn shrimp while we waited, which were super fresh and very delicious. We ordered the red curry oysters with Thai basil for an appetizer. They were FANTASTIC!!! Fish tacos and fish and chips were very good too. Definitely recommend Fish City Grill! Try the red curry oysters with Thai basil!!!

Awesome place. Considering I’ve never ate oyster, their oyster nachos are great! Nice atmosphere, not too loud and a great place to grab an appetizer and a beer.

Good HH! Fun vibe and decent apps. The seafood is very fresh as well. Shrimp and crab legs… yeah buddy! I have heard nothing but good things about the oyster nachos too but have yet to try them. But this is a cool joint to bring friends during the work week. They do get creative with their dishes as well and I can appreciate that. I tend to stay away from fried foods so I love when a place can make fish that is well seasoned and tasty without putting flavorless batter all over it. Yum! I will return for some happy hour fun!

Great food with very bad service! I have been coming here for a few years, and not once has the service been good. The waiters don’t know the menu or the specials, drinks are never refilled in a timely manner, and orders are put in wrongs. So what brings me back? The food!!! It is absolutely amazing! I’ve had lobster, crab legs, fish and chips, salmon, tilapia, soups, fish sandwiches, deserts… Basically everything on the menu and it is all fantastic! The menu is a little limited. You don’t see things you would expect in sides, like: corn on cob, mashed potatoes, or more vegetable options. Will I be back? Of course! I just don’t ever expect decent service — just some amazing seafood!

Was craving seafood and haven’t been able to find a good place since I moved to Texas. This place was a winner winner chicken dinner! They have chalkboard specials that aren’t on the menu and I’m glad I tried something new. I had shrimp and crab stuffed east coast flounder with Dijon potatoes and asparagus. Ah-MAZE-ing. We also had a spicy shrimp appetizer. You have to go!

I love this place! I try to come here as often as possible but been awhile since I travel often. The food is great and the staff is always friendly. Jennifer and Joel are my favorites and I also love to sit at the bar and watch tv!

The most painfully annoying server ever, Immediately hammering me with up-sells and«specials» that aren’t special at all. Out of Gulf oysters(wtf.?) «Why don’t you try our [$ 14.99 per ½ dozen]» super-special organic cage-free grown-by-hand east coast oysters?“ Out of mashed potatoes(wtf x 2?) «Why don’t you try our premium shrimp and grits as a side?» «Our house selection of vodka is terrible [managers, take note] so try our hand-made, lovingly filtered through the diamonds of South Africa version of Tito’s?» Really. Really? Sweetie, just please refill my city-flavored water and don’t try to tell me how awesome the bottled agua is. It’s f@$king water. I couldn’t pay the check fast enough so I could go somewhere else. Neighborhood Sevices serves spectacular seafood, is in the same parking lot, and the servers aren’t Joe’s Crab Shack castoffs. I understand the up-sell as I worked in the industry for way too many years. Getting that PPA up is important. But please, toeing the company line and providing good service are not mutually exclusive. Answer my questions, refill my drinks, and bring me my food. I go to the Frankford location 2 – 3 times a month. Save yourself the suffering and drive 10 minutes north. The manager is awesome, and the staff follow suit. As for the food: the $ 14.99 ½ dozen oysters were grilled nicely, super tiny, and very tasty. Did I mention they were $ 14.99? Bucket of crackers was delicious.
