FLEASANDCOCKROACHES! I’m a travel nurse and made the HUGE mistake of booking a room here. I checked in late the night of January 9th with my 2 dogs. Room was disgusting — massive tears in the sofa, stains on the carpeting, black staining in the bathroom tiles, wall paper peeling, and a continuously leaking sink. It was embarrassing and disturbing all at the same time. Since my contract started Jan 11th and I was exhausted from the 22+hr cross-country drive to get here, I decided to stay. My first night I was a little itchy, but I bring my own bedding and towels to use and I searched endlessly for bedbugs. I presumed I was safe, and blamed my itchiness on my mind. I awoke the next morning with 3 red bug bites on my forearm. Again, brushed it off as a mosquito as I couldn’t find any source of the problem. I continued over the course of the next several days to get sporadic red bug bites here and there. I had hospital orientation essentially 8a-5p all week and I just didn’t have the energy or time to try to find housing elsewhere. Weds Jan 20th I spotted a cockroach. It was in the sink(with the water of course– they NEED water to survive!). It was the size of half my pinky. I killed it and immediately went on AirBnb to find alternative housing. Thursday Jan 21st I locked in 2 months stay through Airbnb. Early Friday Jan 22nd(a little before 7am) is when I discovered FLEAS. I spotted one on my bed and it jumped. Luckily my bedding is white so I could spot it easily. I literally caught it and put it in a glass jar. I walked over to the lobby to fix this entire situation and get me out of that room. I repeatedly referenced the flea in a jar(proof that they DO exist in my room) and emphasized wanting to prevent a flea infestation. The manager insinuated my dogs were the source by saying«Well unfortunately, you never know with pets» I understand flea prevention is not 100% effective, but given I drove 22+ hours in the car with these dogs and didn’t have a single bite until my first night at that hotel… The manager offered to have Oriken come out and spray my room and assured me that there wouldn’t’ be a wait period either. That the spray they used didn’t «have any fumes» and that I could resume living there once they finished. I requested an alternative ESA to stay at. I work 7p-7a and need to sleep during the day for me to function for that entire shift. In order for me to pack and move to a totally different ESA, I had to call out from work… As a travel nurse I don’t get sick time. But not only do I not get paid, but I then OWE my company $ 17/hr for every hour not worked. Calling out just to deal with this issue cost me shy of $ 500. Being in the healthcare field I put serious effort in trying to keep this at bay. I took every single cloth and clothing article to the laundromat and washed EVERYTHING. Then bagged them in new garbage bags and stored them in my car. While I was at the laundromat, I flea fog bombed my room. I bought oral flea treatment medication(despite my dogs already being on topical), along with flea dog shampoo and a flea comb. Instead of going into all the dramatic financial details I’ll leave this: Don’t. Stay. Here. It’s not sanitary and how management handles the situation will add an extreme amount of undue stress to whatever situation you’re already in.

I had the misfortune of being booked at this motel by a third party. This establishment wins hands down for being the most disgusting place I’ve encountered, ever. I took photos as it is not otherwise possible to relate to anyone how unsanitary, unkempt, and overall disturbing the state of this place is. The description of the motel indicates it comes with a fully stocked kitchen. The room I was provided was only fully stocked with garbage and cabinets full of crumbs and dead bugs. It also came equipped with a microwave that turned itself on every few minutes and announced each completed cycle with a symphony of beeping. I was asked by my host who dropped me off if I felt safe. If one must ask, you know the answer. Concerned for my health and safety, I abandoned ship, purchased an air mattress and chose to sleep on the floor of my empty home for a week before my furniture arrived.

Terrible experience! I Called to reserve a non smoking downstairs room in advance. When we arrived we were told they were overbooked and only had a smoking room. We were coming to town for medical city appointments on an icy day so needed to be very close to the hospital so didn’t really have a lot of options as far as getting a different hotel. This room aside from obviously smelling terrible from the smoke it had dog hair and odd brown stains all over the bed. I called the front desk to let them know this would not work and was told it was the only room they had including up stairs rooms but they would come change the linens. This still grossed me out but I reluctantly agreed. After a few minutes the front desk called me back to tell me they did have another room but it was upstairs and had an odd smell coming through the vents from a neighboring room(never seen any vents that went room to room) due to a topical medication the customer was using. This room was non smoking and was much cleaner feeling with no dog hair and all so we took it. This room was also unkept as far as maintenance. The tub was really dis colored and had mold in the chalking(see pics). Kitchen towels had long black hairs on them and the walls had dirty marks pretty much everywhere. Just really seemed like it needed a good bleach and mr clean magic eraser cleaning!!! No plugs for phone chargers near the bed other than one on the wall close to the feet and it would not hold the plug in it for some reason it jut kept falling out of the socket. Both the snack and drink machines where out of order so my husband had to drive to the store in the sleet and ice for water to drink through the night. Will never stay again!

They just lowered the«worst hotel» bar — into the floor — and corporate could car less. 1.) Overbooked on days old reservation — LIEDTOME. 2.) «Excuse for a clerk» isn’t up to anything close to this job(nor ignorant mg’r who belatedly called with incorrect info from corporate), nor corporate HQ from which Ext. Stay(«ES»)(in your car!) said would ‘CALLMETHENEXTDAY” — NEVERDID. INFACT I CALLEDCORPORATEHQANDLEFTMESSAGES, THE a**ss NEVERCALLEDBACK. 3.) Worthless clerk left me waiting 45 minutes before stiffing me while he wondered the lot looking in rooms for(dirty) pans for someone in front, that he then had to come back and wash. ALLWHILE I WAITTOBESTIFFEDONRESERVATION. 4.) Then the ignorant clerk tries calling other ES’s. And their help for ESs errors? Well, it sure the heck doesn;t help when he calls them and and starts conversation as «This is Andrew from Kuwait, I need to see if you have a room?» NOTIDENTIFYINGTHESITUATIONASFROMANOTHERES. AND who gives a rat that he’s from«Kuwait» [except to clearly show how untrained/unskilled he is for this!] 5.) Heard horror complaint after horror complaint from guests coming to desk to complain while there. 6.) Turn off the lifesupport — this patient is waisting electricity. WINNER, hands down WORSTEVER! i could go on(go to corporate site where ALLTHEYDOISTALKUPMONEYMAKINGANDMG’T — CUSTOMERBEDAMNED. I had a terrible experience with extended stay in Dallas, despite usually being very content with their services. First off, I reserved a room over the phone in advance. When I arrived to check-in, they told me there were no vacancies and they sent me to another extended stay location. This was highly inconvenient since I chose my location with specific regards to my work. When I arrived at the second location to check-in they told me multiple people had been sent over from the first location and they only had smoker rooms left. The room was smelly and just felt overall unclean. The two bedside lights did not work. The shower/bath was faulty(water always came out of both the shower and bath faucets). The list goes on, but at the end of the day, every interaction with the Extended Stay over the course of my week-long stay was terrible. Actually, I take that back. One silver lining was that one of the late night front desk workers was very helpful and attentive. The rest still stands true though!

This is a poor example of how you should have your hotel look. Inside and out its terrible. The front desk greeted me in pajama pants. The room itself was poorly kept. Duct tape to keep the shower head together. Cobwebs above the refrigerator. Do not stay here.
