Epic Apparel

This girl likes to shop with the best of them. So, it was no surprise that a meandered on in to Epic Apparel on my most recent long walk with my pups. First perk about the clothing boutique — they allowed dogs! What a wonderful accommodation! After a long walk in the August heat, a quick stimulated trip into a heavily air-​conditioned store was just what the doctor ordered.
As I aimlessly roamed the store, I wasn’t on a specific hunt for anything but did stop at things that did interest me and couldn’t help but be knocked off my axis a tad when it came to the prices. The boutique features cute dresses with fun prints, fun jewelry, a pretty wide selection of shoes, and emerging trends — like colored jeans. However, the quality and design of the clothing didn’t quite justify the steep prices. I most likely will return and I most likely will purchase something, because they were some good finds. You just gotta dig deep.
The service was beyond friendly, helpful, and nice. The layout is easy and open with enough clothes to keep you occupied for a good while. I think Epic Apparel is an asset and fits in perfectly with the shopping scene that is West Village.

This store was having a great side walk sale on the day of our visit. The sales associate was not very friendly when we arrived. She wasn’t really helpful as we visited the store. I was a little disappointed about how unattentive she was to my group.

This review is only about the service. I didn’t actually buy anything from the store.
I was in Dallas from out of town for a conference and realized I needed tights. I took a cab to West Village to find some. I wasn’t aware that a lot of the stores closed at 7, and came in here around 7:05. The girl working behind the counter didn’t give me a dirty look for coming in after they were technically closed. Unfortunately, they didn’t have what I was looking for. This is when the service was above and beyond what I ever could have expected. The young lady called the Gap, another store in the area, to find out if they had what I was looking for. She went out of her way to make sure I got what I needed and I really appreciated it. When I am back in the area, I will definitely be going back in here to shop, all because of the employee’s outstanding service.
