Good lunch find! This was a pretty good lunch spot. I went in a little after the typical lunch hour rush and was able to walk right in an place my order. They have a fairly traditional menu. Attractive décor’! Fast service! Comfortable environment! The food was pretty tasty too! I am sure i will be back time and time again.

I loved this place the food was very affordable and tasted amazing. There wasn’t any wait time and I was able to get my food very fast. I’d definitely come back again. I was a little afraid when people called it a fast food sushi spot but it was no such thing just wasn’t and over priced restaurant like most sushi places.

I really enjoyed this place! I was looking for a new sushi spot to try and I must say this place is a new favorite! It’s in a great location in uptown and easy to access with ample parking options just a short walk away(I parked in the garage(free)by pretty kitty). I’m a budget queen/deal hunter/cheapskate lol I didn’t think the prices were ridiculous! I got the Edohana Roll and Bulgogi Bowl. The roll was amazing! The bulgogi was surprisingly decent! It was good but not the best I ever had, but I sure would eat it again! Lol Drinks are bottled sodas, gatorodes, teas, and tap water. The customer service was great and food didn’t take long to come out!

I used to work here. This white trash decided to tell me things LAST fucking minute about a fucking sauce that HE didn’t tell me on the fucking phone. So I just put the spicy mayo inside because it comes with the roll. Next thing you know his fatass storms into Edohana and acts like a fucking cunt saying I had to drive all the way here just the get my «fucking sauce». FUCKYOUPIECEOFSHIT. YOU were the one that didn’t tell me shit!!! Hope you fucking die a slow painful death you gringo!!!

Have you seen South Park? City Sushi. Place is clean but low quality ingredients and mediocre offerings. Quick though!

Terrible food … I just spend $ 30 on a crappy terrible sushi … Louisiana roll is the worst one of all … The masago topping I s watery and the fried craw fish is cold. Then the chicken teriyaki Bento box is below the average … Very disappointed

I wanted to go somewhere cheap in Uptown… Yeah right. A place that doesn’t encrust their halibut with gold flakes? Get outta here. No, really. This is actually pretty cheap AND it’s sushi of all things. Okay, and the rolls are pretty tiny. Maybe an inch in diameter? If you front up ~$ 8 for one, close your eyes, indulge in the gobs of fake crab and spicy mayo, and think really hard about fresh blue fin tuna… you might just trick your mind into thinking that’s what is actually being eaten. But let’s be honest, this is roughly low grade sushi. Don’t keep your snobby pinky up and definitely feel free to rub your chopsticks together ;)

French kiss… More like Soggy Wet Slimy Plato drenched in sugar. Disgusting!!! Don’t go here, unless you love to eat McDonalds Quality food. Good amount of sushi, and very filling. But someone please recommend me to better Sushi Restaurant! If anyone knows a good quality, small amount of sushi, but totally worth it place. Let me know!!!

Your average fast-food sushi place. For an affordable price you can get a wide range of sushi, but don’t expect to be blown away. It will do if you have a sushi craving though. TIP: Their appetizers and sides are surprisingly cheap for what you’re getting. $ 1.50 for miso soup… that’s pretty awesome. If you’re not craving something specific, it’s economical to make a meal of apps and sides. If you go in with mid-range expectations, you’ll be more than happy

Cheap prices for decent quality sushi, I was surprised. Don’t get their octopus salad. I did not expect dried octopus slices in my salad when it came.

For my first meal, I tried the bulgogi bento box and the temptation roll. Too bad temptation will get you no where. I was hesitant to try Korean bulgogi at a Japanese restaurant, but I thought I’d give it a go. It was fast and greasy, overcooked, and below average quality beef. Taste-wise, it came close to matching real Korean bulgogi but a fast food version of it. The temptation roll was made of tempura shrimp, imitation crab, and cream cheese… which made it heavy yet satisfying. The atmosphere, food, and service can all be summed up in two words: fast food. The food is cheap, and you get what you paid for. If you don’t mind eating at the McDonald’s of sushi, this place is perfect for a grub-run!

This place is really bad. I don’t know if this is what sushi expectations are in Dallas, but it was dead awful. It’s more of a fast food place and everything is filled with imitation crab. All the fish tastes slightly frozen and every roll tastes similar because of the over powering taste of the imitation crab. We also got an eel rice bowl which was dosed in sauce. Even with the plethora of sauce there was a strong fishy taste. Which means the Eel was old. We didn’t even finish it cause it was terrible. Maybe this place best for their greasy bento boxes but I’ll never be back for their sushi.

Edohana is my FAVORITE fast sushi place. I’m not super adventurous when it comes to sushi so most of the sushi I eat is cooked. This place has a good variety for very affordable prices. They even deliver to certain areas. My favorite is the temptation roll. The service here is always pleasant and accommodating. Even though most of the time I order from here it’s to-go, I sometimes enjoy sitting on the small patio and people watching. The staff never makes you feel unwelcome.

Was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. It’s kind of like a sushi fast-food place, but the food is done very well. I got the spicy tuna rolls with the regular tuna sushi, the miso soup(first time trying miso) and the shrimp tempura. Everything came out very quickly but tasted very good, especially considering the cost. The tempura was especially good. Service was pleasant and with a smile, and the place was clean and inviting. Everything cost $ 21 overall I think. It was a good, quick, filling meal. Would go back for sure.

Despite some of the reviews, I like coming here. The spider, dragon, and geisha rolls are my favorite. They do tend to sauce some of the rolls up quite a bit and the towers are not for me, but I do recommend this spot despite those factors. Service is always good and more importantly the place is clean. Never wait too long and I’ve never had a wrong order. 4 stars :)

Chicken teriyaki salad — laughable. A bit of Kroger iceberg-and-such with an overcooked, barely-seasoned chicken breast. Eel bowl — The eel itself was reasonable, with the usual sauce. However, it was only baked, not broiled: eel benefits from a bit of crispiness on its underside, so a few seconds of broiling would have helped it hugely. Rice was slightly damp but I’ll put that down to being in a takeout container. Would be three if not for that joke of a salad. Will return for seafood and the eel bowl, most likely.

I had another craving for sushi this past weekend and decided to finally try Edohana Express since I was interested in takeout. We placed an order for five sushi rolls, which was one roll too much for only two people to share, but at least we were able to get a variety. My thoughts were… Geisha Roll This roll could have easily been a sensation roll if there wasn’t so much sauce on it. I figured that the«4 sauces» would have been a nice addition, but it was actually overkill. Good sushi doesn’t need to be disguised in a bunch of sauce. It was extremely overpowering and I didn’t enjoy this roll. Tango Roll Once again, this is another roll that had so much potential, but due to the high amount of sauce that was poured over this roll, I just couldn’t enjoy it. Crunchy Roll This roll was pretty good. There wasn’t as much crunch as I was expecting, but I still enjoyed it. Spider Roll The spider roll is normally my most favored roll at sushi places; however, Edohana decided to add some kind of sweet sauce at the bottom of the roll, making it too sweet for my taste. I would never recommend it. Tiger Roll I figured I would save the best for last. Of all of the rolls that we ordered, this was not only the most simple roll of them all, but it was my favorite roll. It was a California roll topped with shrimp and salmon, which tasted wonderful. I am also quite upset with the way the takeout order was packaged. Wasabi was touching almost every single roll, and I’m not able to eat wasabi. It was such a waste. Wasabi should be placed at the end of each roll, not in the middle of the rolls where it slides to all of them. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience with my takeout order, so I won’t be ordering from here again.

Yum! I’ve been craving sushi for a while now and finally found an affordable place near my apt. Went in around 9pm and the girl working was friendly. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, all with tempura. I like that this place offers a variety of tempura roll choices. Although, just decided I definitely need to go on a diet after this meal. My stomach is exploding. We also ordered a bento box and bulgogi bowl. I loved everything. Sooo good. Can’t wait to go back!

Edohana Sushi is a fast-food style sushi that tastes pretty good for being 1) cheap and 2) fast. Edohana is the perfect place to satiate your craving for sushi when you don’t have much time or money, which seems to always be the case for me. The quality of Edohana Sushi is better than your grocery store sushi, but(of course) not as great as higher-end sushi restaurants. Not only does the sushi taste great for its price, but you’re getting about 8 rolls per sushi order as opposed to the 6 you’d normally get(!!). A variety of creative + typical sushi rolls. Great value. Fast service. Low-key. What’s not to love about Edohana Sushi?
