Well, I was super exited to find out about another chick bar in Dallas. My partner and I go to Sue Ellen’s but find the crowd to be too young and too, well, just too, meh… no class at Sue’s at all. Sorry, but we like to have fun and drink and talk and dance, but the music at Sue’s is too hip hop for us. Also, they can’t mix a good drink for nothin’. We usually go and listen to live music, but that gets old after awhile. Most women that go to Sue’s have all known each other forever and are not interested in meeting any new people and the young chicks seem to want to fight if you look at them the wrong way. Anyway…onto Eden Lounge. We got dressed up and went on a Saturday night(two weeks ago) and after finding parking on the street we went in. The place was much smaller than the pictures I had seen on the website. Kinda of depressing. Pool table up front some ladies playing pool, a few chicks sitting along the wall and their friends sitting across the way too big«coffee tables»…Music was soooo loud in such a small space you had to yell to be heard. Big screen TV’s line the back wall above the banquets and play music videos that went along with the music that the really bad DJ was playing. Sorry, but they had a dude DJ in a chick bar, really? I may be a little older but I know good music. My partner is much younger and she looked at me and said, «What the hell is he playing?» Not good. Average age of the women seemed to be mid 30s and up. Good for us. The bar are itself is really small. There was one bartender and, I think, the owner tending bar. Couldn’t seem to make quick drinks… no offense. Seemed nice enough, but with only about 8 people wanting drinks, the wait time was long. We didn’t even stay long enough to get a drink. Can’t comment on drink quality. We went up to the Patio and it was nice view, but it was cold and the only people up there were smoking(all three of them). No heaters on that we could see. Went back down some steep stairs and sat at a high top table and people watched. There were only about 30 people in the whole place at almost midnight on a Saturday night. There was no designated dance floor and no one was dancing to really bad music. We left after about 45 minutes. Glad we spent only 50 cents to park. I had high hopes for a club where the partners seemed to want to create a place where more mature women could hang out and be «in the world’ and be who we are. Unfortunately, it was a dead bore. I wish there was a chick bar in Dallas that serves great drinks, some great bar food or God forbid, full dinner, plays great hit music from all genres and has a dance floor that is not next to where I am trying to talk to my friends or girlfriend, and has a cool vibe. We might try it again, once the weather gets warmer to see if we just came on a bad night. I want to like it… Eden Lounge owners please don’t be mad, I just was super disappointed.

This is my way overdue review of a place that I have been so many times! I always have a great time when I go to Eden Lounge. They have my favorite drinks — Ruby Red vodka and soda and Fireball on the rocks — always a bonus! The rooftop is definitely the highlight of the place… great patio with heat when its cold and sail shades if you are running from the sun. Friendly bar staff… always. Best owners — if you haven’t met Kristi and Lauren, introduce yourself next time you are there. A big, heartfelt thank you to both of them for taking the time and putting in an incredible amount of energy and soul into a place created with us in mind!

What can I say about Eden… AMAZING staff, and the owners, just awesome! Bartenders are quick but still don’t snuff you off if you try to talk to them, friendly people for sure. Good drink specials, awesome view of Dallas skyline. Did I mention the fantastic staff? Once I started going here, I haven’t been able to stop! Its good for a nice, fun yet chill drama free night, unlike most other crazy drama filled LGBT night clubs. I deffinatly recommend going and having a drink on the roof top and talking with some of the staff… You’ll find that this place is a gem from the inside out! :)

Checked out this place last night with a group of friends. Pros: **Great view if Downtown Dallas skyline **Great mix of old-school and new music Cons: **Upstairs patio bar only took cash **Downstairs bar had horrendously slow service. Hopefully this will get better with time **Overuse of Ikea furniture. **Coffee tables downstairs are too wide. Can’t have a conversation across.

Umm, aside from the fact that this place plays shitty top 40’s hits from two years ago, it’s COMPLETELYEMPTY on a Saturday night. Shit music… So shitty.

LOVE Eden’s Lounge. Fun place, great service all around. Rooftop patio is nice, great for a large group as well as the downstairs inside. The rooftop patio is also dog friendly. They do not serve food, but you can get food from restaurants just across the street.

Love is love and I’m in love! This is a gay and lesbian bar that is so friendly, I’m hesitant to call it anything. It’s more like, «oh, you’re a person and you’re nice? Well, ok! Come on in, we’re so glad you came!!» It was a very lovely and diverse crowd. Everyone was super nice. The owner showed us around, bought us a couple of shots, but even better because she drank with us. Cute as a button, too! The also adorable bartender made some kind of peachy deliciousness that I can’t describe very well but you should really just go have one. It has rum and vodka, a bit pineapple and something else, I think. I hate pineapple, but this was really good. Ok, I got off track a little… So, the place! The place is beautiful! You walk in to this very trendy, open space with modern seating all along one wall, a few really cool bar tables with bar stools that are actually comfortable! There’s a gorgeous chandelier dripping from the high ceiling. The lighting is low and intimate. Modern and very classy nudes all along one wall. And it’s everything, male, female, hetro couples, gay couples. There’s no discrimination here. Just love! They also have some kind of photo booth that looks cool, but I forgot to go play with it. Its not really a booth, so im not sure how it works. Must go back and sort this out! :-) And one of those old school game thingies that looks like a table and has like 40 games on it. I think that’s what she said, anyway. And this is all just downstairs! Go upstairs and find yourself on the rooftop with another bar, a fire pit, and a gorgeous view of Dallas. On Sundays, they have live music in the afternoons from 3−6pm. If I didn’t need to be responsible today, I’d definitely go back! I mea, like today. I can’t wait to go back, in general. Thanks for the warmest welcome, Christi and everyone working last night. We had a lovely time! :-)

I went in briefly on a night before the real opening, so it was completely empty. COMPLETELY. There were two other people in there other than the bartender. It is a relatively large space inside, but there was a surprising lack of seating for a place with the word LOUNGE in the name. I didn’t see any evidence that live music would ever be featured here(seemed more likely to be a DJ situation). The rooftop has a bar(no one attending it the night I was there though), and the roof does have a nice view of downtown given the vacant parking lots surrounding the building. If you’re looking for somewhere to hang out on a patio in deep ellum — perhaps after some dinner at Maracas across the street — this place could do it for you. There are however other patios in deep ellum, including the significantly larger one at Wit’s end(that also features tons of seating, mister fans, and TVs).
