My laptop took a daredevil leap off a countertop and crashed onto the kitchen floor. It worked a little bit but eventually got to the point where it crashed & wouldn’t re-​start. I called DTE and Jonathan said he could come right out and have a look. He was very polite and professional. Turns out I needed a new hard drive and within a day or two, I had my laptop back and he set everything up for me. I will call him again for any more computer repair I need in the future and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

If you’re ever having any computer problems, definitely give Jonathon a call. He did an excellent job on fixing my computer and made the process easy by coming to my apartment to pick up and drop off my laptop. He was very resposnive and gave me timely updates as he was replacing the fan in my laptop. I will definitely be going back to Jonathon if I ever have any computer problems in the future.

In town on business, my Western Digital Passport External Drive crashed and I couldn’t get to the presentation I was supposed to give in two hours. The Geek Squad closest to my hotel told me they could recover my hard drive for me… in 2 to 4 days. Near panic, I jumped on Unilocal to find local, independent help and found Down to Earth had recently opened. I called and spoke to Jonathan, who assured me he could recover my files in no time. When we met at his shop, he took my HD, worked his voodoo on it, and had it back to me before I went full-​blown panic. Getting my computer fixed by Down to Earth was the best decision I could have made. My laptop kept overheating and I had no idea what the problem was. Jonathan had it all fixed and he even cleaned it up for me in less than 2 hours! I was so pleased with the work he did I’ve referred all of my friends to him. Oh, and his rates were WAY less than what Geek Squad originally quoted me.
