Dr. Turner’s patients keep coming back year after year. My husband saw him for at least twenty five years. In talking to people in the waiting room I’ve heard«He saved my life» to «He’s been my doctor for 20, 15, 10, etc years». I have complete confidence in him and highly recommend him. He is what all doctors should be — caring, compassionate, and very intelligent.

If this were a review of only Dr. Turner as a doctor, I’d give him 5 stars, but this is a review of his staff and business practices as well, and I didn’t have great experiences here. I have a high deductible HSA insurance plan and he requires two appointments for each annual physical, only one of which counts as «preventative medicine» covered 100%. I understand that he wants to talk to people before their physical and get the blood work taken care of, but I just can’t afford to go to him anymore. His nurses are rude. The woman that took my blood was stuck back in a closet off the file room, and paying my bill became almost impossible when they didn’t code it as preventative medicine the first time and expected me to pay for the entire visit. I called at least a dozen times, but I could never get anyone to answer the phone for the financial part of things. It is also very difficult to get in to see him in a timely manner. They actually turned us away and told us to go to Urgent Care because my fiancé had an illness he needed treatment for within a few days. It’s not as if we wanted to come in that minute, the next day or even the day after would have been fine. When Dr. Turner finally gets in the room with you, he’s great. I’d absolutely recommend his bedside manner, professionalism, and knowledge. I would not recommend his practice.

I think he deserves more like 10 stars! Dr Turner is a rare form of doctors who see you as a person not a patient. He stops and listens to you and really cares for his patience. My whole family sees him and I suggest him to anyone I come in contact with that ask for a good doctor in town.
