It’s a smaller DART station, but it’s fairly clean and convenient. Deep Ellum has a lot to offer as a neighborhood. There are a bunch of bars and restaurants and they have various events and festivals here throughout the year, mainly in the Spring and Summer. Check out the art’s festival in April. They have live music and lots of cool stuff to see. Have a cold beer and bring your dog and your sweetie. While you are in Deep Ellum be sure to hit up Cane Rosso. They have the best pizza in Dallas and they also serve up cold Revolver Blood & Honey beers, which really hit the spot on a hot Summer day. A cool landmark for this train station is the giant robot sculpture. There is one right in front of the stop and several smaller ones all over Deep Ellum. It’s a good way to make mental notes on where you are and how to get back if you are not familiar with the area. This station only services the Green Line. If that does not take you where you need to go, plan to change trains at one of the next four stops toward downtown. Pearl/Arts District, St. Paul, Akard and West End Stations all have transfers to the Orange, Red and Blue lines from the Green Line.

Conveniently located in the heart of Deep Ellum neighborhood right on Good Latimer between Gaston and Swiss Avenue/Live Oak. The green line runs through this DART station. There is also a ticket machine that accepts credit card or cash payments.
