Great place to visit. Even if you are not buying a car. Inexpensive way to spend the day and having a good time. Plus a great way to review buying your next car.

A scoch better than the State Fair car show. They would let you sit in some of the higher end cars, like the Lamborghini’s, but overall pretty good. Toyota seemed to have the most pizazz with the cleaning crew that transformed into a stomp dance team and the participant contest.

Interesting collection of cars. Noticeably missing were BMW, Infiniti and Saturn. In their place was a massive collection of old cars including a few great Corvettes. For $ 10 it was great homework for someone who might be buying a car in the next 60 days. I figured out I really, really like the new GMC Terrain and don’t like the Honda Insight.(Like you really needed to know that…)

You’ve always wanted to sit in a Boxster. Even kick the tires! You want to get personal with a car and forget about the salesman? The 2010 Dallas Auto Show offers about 30 domestic and import manufacturers including Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Land Rover, Maserati, and Porsche. $ 11 to get in. About $ 10 to park. Lots of eye candy. Lots of walking and walking. The Wheel of Fortune is also conducting a remote audition in the convention center, so after the car show you can try to spin Vanna’s wheel.
