Horrible experience here! Paid $ 50 for reservations but was still declined getting in. One of our friends had thrown up as we arrived and he was declined to get in, so we took him home and when we came back, they still wouldn’t let us in. After talking to management all they said was, «sorry you’ll have to work it out with the bouncers.» Save yourself a horrible night and explore the other many other amazing options Dallas has to offer!

From the owners and management down to the cleaning staff all the people at candle room are amazing welcoming and exceptional! This is a fantastic venue for a big party or a private event you will not be sorry you went you will leave taking about the great time you had and telling your friends they need to go as soon as they can. The ambiance is high end Chicago or New York City. The attention to detail creates an experience for a more refined palate. When entertaining you can feel comfortable bringing your out of town or out of country guests here! Enjoy I give them full five stars for a superb experience great job Candle Room!

Bought tickets for the New Years Eve masquerade. The ticket said champagne and partying favors so I expected a mask and champagne. NO. It was just like every other snooty bar I’ve ever been to. A bunch of booths and a small bar area. If you want to dance do not come here.

I was here with my friends for the first time. What I want to sign general this place has a suitable location. And it is a very good one for night rest. So many people were here and all of them we mere dancing and had a good mood except of me. I did not like the music which was played at that night but for someone this music is perfect. I will try to go there again. May something will be changed.

Friendly service, good people, decent music, I have no idea how you get into this private club. You have to know someone that knows someone I guess

I love the Candleroom! I’ve been going here for as long as I can remember.(I don’t want to post that because then everyone here will know my age ;)) It’s still the Wednesday night hot spot and don’t expect that to change any time soon or ever. Lol I have had 4 or 5 of my bday parties here and we all had a lot of fun. Obviously, or I would not keep having parties here. I am happy to see the positive reviews on here. Here’s some advice so that the rest of you can have a positive experience. First of all if you don’t like a lot of people in one place then do not go here on a Wednesday night unless you go early and plan to leave early. Also, get bottle service so you and your friends can party and be comfortable. Don’t try to park, instead valet park! Arrive there early, say 11 – 11:15 on Wednesday night so that you don’t have to wait in a long line. Dress really nice and it’s a good idea to have more girls in your group. Like, 60⁄40 may work but even that may be pushing it some. Sorry, I don’t make the rules. That’s how it goes for a lot of nice clubs, especially the hot spot of the week. Be nice to the door guy. And then leave early so that you don’t have to wait in the valet line to retrieve your car. Have fun!!! Dance the night away! And you’re welcome.

I am giving this place 3 stars because I saw a guy from LMFAO on a random Wednesday night and thought it was cool to see a music celeb in the same club as I am. I did have fun dancing with my friends, but dayum, this place needs work. First things, first… it is super hard to get in as a guy. I thought it just be like any club in Dallas where I could just walk in and have a good time. NO! I was with two of my girlfriends and was declined by the doorman because I was wearing shorts even though some dude got in with shorts on. Okay, I understood that there is a dress code. A friend’s friend’s friend got an extra pair of pants so we could get in. After trying to get in again, we were still declined because of not having reservation or some lame reason. The friend’s friend’s friend had to pay the doorman for letting us in. The room was small on the inside and there was just a lot of issues with certain spots blocked off for commoners like us. It was not packed at all and I don’t see why they are giving us such a hard time going in. I enjoyed the music they were playing, but the crowd was boring as f***. Everyone was just standing around, attempting to have some sort of intellectual conversation against the loud music, and just remotely bopping up and down. This is not the place where the crowd makes you feel like dancing. My friends and I did dance anyways and not let the others ruin the moment. The crowd is definitely of the mature type and apparently lacking in the booty shaking department. The drinks were expensive, but whatever. This place tried to make it exclusive with all of these barriers and superficiality, but the isn’t anything special. Sure… I heard celebs come here and saw LMFAO, but it won’t be a place I want to come and have fun. The grandpas and the women looking for suga daddies can’t handle my ass anyways.

I went on a Saturday and there were about 10 people there including me and my friend. Very small, but has a nice feel to it and good music.

Candle Room on a Wednesday = A Permanent Good Time. Thank you Candleroom I can always count on you when I have that humpday itch. A Dallas staple — I hear its been open for like 20+ years– it’s a small club, but it packs a mega punch. I notice a few folks complaining about the kind of people in the club… well I don’t really go to clubs to meet all of the people, I go to dance. Dancing is good excersize and it will help you relax. I usually do an MJ move for the doorman, which is probably why he’s always nice to me, try it! It’s that kind of place magical things happen — you may fall in love, you may dance on a banquette(I would never do that candleroom ;) promise), you may have a random Asian oil tycoon purchase a table and a couple of bottles for you and leave, never to be seen again. If you are out there Hoang hit me up and thanks for the section bro.

If you can actually manage to get in you will have a good time. Bring friends that are fun and like to dance. I will say it’s a good look for groups/birthdays and etc. The drinks are pretty good but the whole VIP thing wait outside like we are in New York is kind of try hard and ridiculous. There are so many other places you can go and just rock out and have fun without all of the rigamarole. Good luck finding a parking spot in this area as well.

Please avoid if you are an educated professional. It’s not worth your time. It’s as simple as that. I have been to the best clubs in Vegas. These guys are trying to ape them! I just witnessed a bad fight outside the club and they are blaming cops for not being there!(they are paying them to be there it seems). If you want to have good time, avoid this place! Unless you want to be punching someone or getting punched!

I have heard about the Candle Room for many years but somehow I just ended up going this last Wednesday night. When we first got there it was dead, I honestly thought we were just going for a nice casual drink and bit to eat. I was completely wrong. This is a bar/club with VIP. It’s extremely hard for men to get in if they aren’t on the list or a member. It was easy fort girlfriend and I to get in being woman. My friend and I were in need of food and the bouncer got ya a driver to take us to get food and bring us back for free. They helped keep the creepy guys away from us. The place had great music and diverse crowd of people. It was an exclusive spot where many people go to have a good time on a Wednesday night. It was a fun spot to go dancing. The drinks were around $ 10 a piece.

What a fantastic place to hang out. Great atmosphere and look and those great-looking bar tenders! The management has done a superb job of maintaining the high– status reputation that the establishment has earned. Keep up the great work Candleroom!

Like some of the reviews have mentioned. Douchey doorman saying we can’t come in because we only have one girl with four guys. Oh wait, but celebrities come here. Who gives a rats ass. Totally seamed like he was expecting us to pay and I promptly shut it down and laughed at him. The bars around here are cool. Totally an area where working professionals hang at, But not to the point where you have to be on «the list» to get in a joint. Half the crowd I’m with lives in Hollywood and they don’t put up with this back home. What a joke!

I have only been on Wedneday nights. I love it! I believe that it is Ladies’ night so men are required to be on a list unless accompanied by a female. It has a big crowd, especially for a weekday. In addition to having a big crowd, it is very diverse in ethnicity, age, and class as well. This is definitely a melting pot among clubs. As previously stated, celebrities and athletes stop by here as well. I really enjoy myself everytime I come here. I highly recommend it.

Went on a wednesday night. Typical douchey doorman had to have his palms greased in order to let our group of guys in since we were not on «the list». When one guy showed 30 mins later, he wouldn’t let him in despite us trying to offer him more$. have no idea why… Inside was a decent scene but seemed very cliqueish. bad guy to girl ratio(obviously our group of 4 guys did not help). music was decent but not really too many people dancing… just did not seem like a very fun place but on a wednesday night in dallas, your options are limited

This place has been a long time favorite of mine. They recently remodeled the dj booth so it has more of an open feel, and they’re going to remodel more of it soon! Wednesday nights are the best, hands down. They’ve been open 10 years and still going strong! Pretty amazing considering it’s A) Dallas and B) Clubs NEVER last this long. It has a secluded, intimate, cozy feel and I absolutely love this place!

Just a few things I’d rather than go back to the Candleroom: –yodel the dictionary –be stuck in an elevator –clip my toenails… with pliers –watch a 10 hr Nancy Grace marathon –unclog my toilet Of course, I Unilocaled this place beforehand to see what you guys had to say. I figured 3 stars were enough for me to give it a try. Wrong. The doorman nothing nice. Since we were 3 women all dolled up, we didn’t have a problem getting in. But when we invited one of our well-dressed male friends to meet us there, the bouncer refused to let him in. He was extremely rude about it unpleasant too. Really? This is not Friday night in NYC. This is Lower Greenville… and it’s Wednesday. So the three of us girls went inside anyways to check out the hype. Candleroom is cute but has very little room to dance, and I’ll even admit the music was pretty solid, but it was obvious that this place was just doing the most. I forgot to mention that it was kinda ridiculous how attractive(most of) the women were. If you’re a guy, you’re probably loving this, but guess what?! You’re probably not going to get in anyways. And for us girls, unless you are in search of a 74 year-old sugar daddy here on business(or a 20 year-old sugar daddy in-training), you may want to check out alternatives. I actually enjoy clubs at times, but I’d be pretty okay if I didn’t go back here. Oh yea and the drinks were like $ 3,782.19 each, so if you go— don’t forget your wallet.
