Service was fantastic! Beautiful café ambiance. The red bell pepper soup was amazing and great coffee. Desert okay but i am not really into cakes. I believe they have happy hour 3 – 6. Music was classic!

YUM! Great ambiance, help(Hailey) and food. We had the Croque Madame and Ham and cheese crepes. Very good and the champagne sauce was to die for. I have been here before and can not wait to go again.

Quiet and relaxing breakfast. Good, strong coffee. We had a little bit of everything, all was very good. Croissant with ham and cheese, chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, and Benedict. Nice friendly service. Kids loved their chocolate milk with whipped cream on top! We will be back!

My first time at Café de France will most definitely be followed by many more to come. The food, service, atmosphere, décor, and just about everything was outstanding. Our server, Flores, took excellent care of us. It seems like this restaurant truly cares about the little details that make a dining experience great. HIGHLY recommend getting the blackened chicken linguini. There are many other items I saw on the menu I’d like to come back in and try as well.

Went here for dinner. The food was great. The service was fast and attentive. The greeter/owner was cheery and friendly. The décor is outdated and the plating wasn’t the best but that won’t stop me from returning.

Really great service and food. I enjoyed one of the best porkchops I have had in years — cooked perfectly. Very nice ambiance and wait staff. The owner greeted and welcomed us. Apparently there is also live music every other Saturday.

Had the omelette and French toast, it was very delicious and nice environment. The prices were a bit high but overall worth it.

Perfect spot for brunch on a Sunday! Just remember to get in before people start pouring in after they get out from church! The salmon was pretty good but what I love the most about this place is the ambience of the restaurant.

This was a very cool spot for lunch with the team. The food was very fresh and presented very well. I had to go with the Chicken Marsala which was out of this world, but don’t assume it comes with pasta in a french café! Service was on a slight slump during our visit. No refills on drinks or bread were offered.

My family & I went here this past week, kind of saw it & said, «Let’s try something new.» I’m Vietnamese & have been having a craving for some French food.(Still looking for a French Vietnamese Restaurant, like back in Orange County.) We were greeted with a luke warm greeting. Our waitress showed up & was a delight. Her attentiveness & service was the highlight of the experience. The ambience was nice, they had several customers dining there already & you could tell they were repeat customers, all ranging from mid to late 20’s to… older. The food was above average. It wasn’t bad at all. I had a french onion soup that was perfect & not over salty like most restaurants served. Like I said, the food was pretty good. As was the menu selection. The only 2 dings I would give the restaurant. 1) We weren’t given the off menu specials. After we had ordered & food was in front of us, I overhead the special being introduced to the next table over. It sounded great, I would’ve ordered one of the specials. 2) The entire time, the owner was present but never smiled at us, asked us how we were doing or made himself concerned with our table. Not a big deal, but he greeted everyone that came in, went to their tables to check on them, and at one point walked towards us but looked at us, made eye contact with me & changed directions & asked another table how their dinner was. I don’t want to assume anything but it’s hard to ignore there weren’t any smiles for us any point from the owner. Again, our waitress was very friendly & attentive. Just overlook the«specials» thing. The owner did get super friendly & acknowledged us. But I feel only because my wife & daughter wandered over to the dessert case & wanted to order some desserts. Then he was the happy, welcoming French café owner. $$$ Overall, would I go back? Probably not. Why? To be honest, while the food was pretty good, there wasn’t anything breathtaking awesome. Service was good, but that was limited to our waitress. While nothing was out of this world fantastic & my wife & I didn’t really feel welcomed here. I’d rather take my chances exploring other dining options & hopefully we are as valued as our dollars. Your mileage my vary. I assume if you’re Caucasian or better yet able to speak French, you might be more palatable. I’m just the decedent of a former French colony. I definitely got the stereotypical French hospitality. Lol.

What a pleasant experience! Dropped in on a Monday night — first visit. Had their French onion soup and it was perfect –the way I like it with a beautiful mild onion broth with a balanced topping of cheese and bread. The sole with mushroom and artichoke topping was lovely — my partner enjoyed the red snapper special. Portions were just right matched to a great price for excellent food and service. Will be a regular!

Good Morning, Texas. This morning my daughter and I went to a wonderful little French bistro for breakfast. I highly recommend that you come here. The food was wonderful, the ambiance was terrific, it’s like being in Paris without leaving the United States. This is one experience that you should try, enjoy!

I have been to Café De France three times now. I continue to be impressed with this establishment. It is moderately priced. The food is good quality and is brought out promptly. Some dishes are undeniably American while others are very French and very good. Or waitress although very attentive dodd not speak a luck of French, lol. I recommend this restaurant.

After a disappointing visit to Lavendou Bistro my husband and I saw this French bakery on our way home and pulled over for dessert. Best decision of the day and totally made up for our lackluster lunch. We walked in and the owner greeted us with a huge smile. We explained we were just there for dessert and after picking out a yummy pastry he asked me what my favorite cookie was(on the house). Great service, cute ambiance, and a legit Parisian running the joint! We’ll be back.

Went here on a whim and was very happy with the outcome. Their lunch menu is a good price and their portions are just right. I love their French Onion soup, such a wonderful flavor and texture. Their baked goods are sublime.

Its ok. There isnt much that impressed me about my food. It all seemed a little bland. Ive been to Many cities in France and have experienced much richer food. The waitress was a little high strung and the service was not great. I dont think ill be rushing back anytime soon. Also, they need to add fruit Crepes to the breakfast menu. If you are looking for authentic, I don’t think this is the place for you.

My husband and I redeemed a Groupon here this past Sunday. The place was packed which is usually a good thing. He had an omelet, The works, and he enjoyed it. I had the Spanish omelet which was also yummy, very large portions. I thought all the plates came with fruit, we didn’t get any, but I could be wrong.

It was ok, nothing to write home about. Nothing stood out to me, the service was decent and that was a plus. To be clear the food wasn’t bland, I will say, my fiancé loved the side of potatoes for breakfast.

I came with a friend and our four daughters. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken right away. Refills on my drink were prompt. The bread was delicious! I didn’t feel like our children were considered a nuisance or anything, as a previous reviewer suggested. We were definitely the youngest patrons there, though. My friend’s daughter didn’t care for the fish. My friend liked the chicken. They were surprised by the ginger carrots, but not displeased. My kids went with breakfast for dinner, so no complaints at all. My quiche was pleasant. Perhaps my only complaint would be that we informed our server when we sat down that we had a 6:30 meeting. We sat at 5:50 and did not get our food until 6:20. If it is all fresh, it could have been cook time, but I might have liked to know that certain dishes may not have time to be prepared in time for our meeting deadline. We were late to the meeting, which was right down the block. I would come back, though.

Came here for brunch with friends a couple of weekends ago. I got the Works Omelette with home fried potatoes. Both were okay. Potatoes were a little bland, but salt and ketchup fixed that. Service was eh. I think it was 1 waiter taking care of the whole back room, so he might’ve been stretched a little thin. He forgot part of my order and I heard a table next to me saying he forgot part of their order also. The owner/manager(?) who greeted us when we first walked in was really nice and cheery.

It was our first time trying and we loved it! The food was great and service was excellent. Price is very reasonable too. If you are going to IHOP or other American breakfast place, it’s better to go more cozy and healthy restaurant like Café de France! It’s definitely worth what you are getting with the money you spend.

I’m here fairly regularly as a favorite brunch spot with my wife and a group of friends. The food is excellent, and the owner is extremely friendly. Everything has been consistently wonderful on every visit. The escargot and french onion soup are especially not to be missed. Could not recommend more highly.

Came here on a whim, have wanted to try it for some time. Wonderful atmosphere, very relaxed and welcoming. I ordered the eggs Benedict and if you’ve ever tried to make hollandaise sauce you know that it is difficult. The meal was absolute perfection. I rarely am a repeat customer to a place but I will be back to try more of their menu for sure. Cappacinno was quite delicious as well.

This review is just for the quality of desert I received from here. I bought a slice of cheesecake and slice of tiramisu. Both slices seemed pretty old and not fresh or close to fresh at all. The tiramisu was very dry and the lady fingers they used for the crust where beyond old. The cheesecake had a slightly noticeable old film on top of the slice and the dollops of whip cream where the consistency of gummy bears. For the cost of the two slices I was very disappointed by the quality. Even though the pictures of the food there look very good, the deserts where a huge fail to me. Now I was impressed by the look of this place. It was pretty fancy looking and the waiter and even manager where very friendly. I stopped here on a whim about twenty minutes before they closed but I did not feel rushed to leave or anything. It’s hard to find a bakery that’s open late like this down in my neck of the woods so I was happy to come across this place driving home that night. I hope others have had or will have a better experience with there sweet treats then I did.

The ambience was quaint. Friendly staff. Many options during dinner, from sandwiches to higher end dinner specialties. This also means the pricing varied anywhere from around $ 10 up to $ 25. The bread was very fresh and warm. My French Onion Soup was served hot and had a nice classic flavor to it. The potato crusted chicken with lemon butter sauce was a little bland but was a generous portion. The carrots were fresh and cooked to perfection. They tasted great too, especially mixed with the rice pilaf. I think the carrots had an orange glaze on them, which was a delicious surprise. The main reason for the high rating was the service and overall feel of the café. It was very comfortable with a definite«mom and pop» feel to it, which I love. The food was good enough to get us back, as well. We also received a discount card for 20% off all future visits. It seemed like all guests were getting the incentive card, which is a nice way to get repeat business. Oh, I can’t forget the chocolate truffles. There’s a refrigerated counter display filled with many varieties of chocolate truffles for $ 3.95 each; priced kust right to justify one rich indulgence for dessert while helping maintain self-control that might be harder to do at a lower price. I’m a chocolate lover, so that is a huge plus for me.

FYI: This review is about my dinner experience. The service here is very good! The employees are attentive and polite. However, the food(at least on the dinner menu) was just alright. Nothing to really complain about, but nothing to rave about either. Surprisingly, the glazed carrots that come with most of the dinner entrees are really good though. A citrusy-sweet glaze? Yum. I wouldn’t recommend the shrimp cocktail from the appetizers section because it’s literally 6 small pieces of cold shrimp for $ 10. You’re better off going to Costco and buying a box with dozens of shrimp for the same price. And the side salad that comes with the dinner entrees is pitiful. just an iceberg lettuce mix, no additional toppings like any other vegetables. I’m slightly disappointed, especially since their breakfast food gets a good rep. I’m still interested to come back and try their breakfast food though!

I tried out this café on Saturday afternoon before shopping and the food and service were great. I ordered my eggs over hard and they were prepared exactly the way I like them, my bacon was the thick, crisp bacon that I always want. The home fries weren’t that impressive since they weren’t seasoned at all. It was an Ore Ida experience. We went back today. My boyfriend had the seafood omelette with hashbrowns and wheat toast. He really liked the omelette and that his request for more mushrooms was accommodated. I had the buttermilk pancakes with fruit, 2 eggs over hard and a side of bacon. Yummy. Everything. And our server was very attentive. She kept our water glasses refilled and empty dishes were promptly removed. Another plus to this café is the case filled with handcrafted chocolates. We bought some for a take home treat. I definitely recommend that you try this place!

I went to this place for brunch and I must say I have always passed by this place and never went inside always was curious about it. Well I think it is very good. Our waiter Kevin was not only cute but very good. I ordered the Belgian Waffle Combo and was very pleased with it. I would love to make a trip back for lunch are dinner. And they do have specials. I had a mimosa with my breakfast and the special for those are $ 3.99 all day. The restaurant also have a bakery with all kinds of sweet treats. I plan to try that again next time too.

The owner was very nice and accommodating. He welcomed us as soon as we walked in. We told him we were here just for dessert and he took the time to identify every item in the cooler. We opted for the cheesecake and carrot cake. Both were moist and delicious. Nice visit! Next time we’ll come for breakfast. Thanks!
