If you’ve got two hours to spare for an expensive haircut, this is the place for you! Yes, it’s a school. Yes they’re slow. But an hour an a half for a man’s cut? It was $ 30 plus tip. Coulda gone to High and Tight across the street for the same $ 30 and been done in 20 minutes.
I will say, the people were very nice. The space was decorated lovely. And it’s got a really cool vibe.
But if this school thinks that people will pay full price for an ultra slow, mediocre haircut, then they’re mistaken. Schools usually give you a discount for taking a chance on their students — $ 17 for Tony and Guy Academy. So I’m not sure what the Blade Craft people are thinking when they price their services as if they’re a salon and not a school.

Absolutely an awesome barbershop. I met Chris and he took care of me during the Dallas wine walk this month.
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Can’t be mad that everyone complements the beard when they see me. I’m setting up my first appointment with them ASAP.
