This is the first time I have had bingsoo in this style with the ice having a milky texture to it. Its kinda hard to describle but its very soft ice and it was very good. We got the bigger sicze with fruit and not only was it fresh fruit but it was COVERED/SMOTHERED with fruit. It also comes with condensed milk and red bean. Very delicious and tasty. It is located inside the korean market and has late hours…

Came here with a good friend because I wanted to try a new bingsoo place. It’s a cute café located inside Komart right at the entrance. I was expecting the typical shaved ice bingsoo at Brown Sugar or Mozart but they had the snow ice! We ordered the fruit snow ice. The snow ice was perfectly fluffy and not too sweet, and it had a good, generous amount of fruit and almonds on top, drizzled with condensed milk. I ordered the large, a bit more than $ 9, which is pretty pricey considering its size. It was enough for two people though. I wish it came with red bean and mochi like other cafes, but I think you can request to add them on. Overall, REALLY good bingsoo, just a bit expensive. Will come back and would like to see them open up their own shop someday!

I don’t think I can say anything that anyone else has not already said. I’ve never been to a bingsoo place so this was a first. What surprised me the most is that it wasn’t over the top sweet. It was delicate. It was perfect. It was like a mixture of snow and ice-cream. If you have ever let snowflakes fall on your tongue while eating ice cream(yeah, I’ve done that) then this is what you have without the cold, wet weather. The fruit was a little sour so it was a perfect mix of sweet and sour. The bowl was big enough to share and a perfect after a Sura dinner treat!

I was blown away by how delicious their shaved ice(snow) is! The texture is so creamy and light, and it wasn’t too sweet. There are different toppings for their desserts. My friend and I got the shaved snow with fruits and rice cake. It really hit the spot! I want to take all my friends there so they could try it. If this dessert place was located in a more open area, it would be incredibly popular. It’s inside Komart so it’s quite the hidden gem.

This is by far the best bingsoo place I’ve been to! The shaved ice here is not like the typical ones you get at Mozart or at any other Korean cafes. Their shaved ice is like snow but the texture is like ice cream. The hours are kinda off but you should make time to try their bingsoo. Location is inside Komart so if you call Komart they will let you know Bingsoo Pong’s hours. I tried to add the hours on Unilocal but it’s taking some time. Anyways I ordered a large injulmee bingsoo, which is shaved ice with sweet fine grain powder and almonds. They added some mochi and a lot of the condensed milk. The condensed milk made the shaved ice taste like ice cream. Without the condensed milk the bingsoo won’t be as good. A large bingsoo is around $ 9 and could feed at least 2 people. As soon as we got the shaved ice we devoured it quick! The ice is a lot finer than snow cones and with the condensed milk the texture is very smooth. In Korean this type of shaved ice is called snowflake shaved ice. I highly recommend trying it out if you are in for something cool for this hot Texas heat.

Nice light dessert but it’s a bit too sweet for my liking. Good price for the portion size.

I’m so glad that there’s finally a shaved ice place in Dallas! This cute little café is located inside Komart, a Korean grocery store, and it looks like it just recently opened. I came to try it out with fellow Unilocaler Tracy R., and we ordered the shaved ice with fruit(strawberries, blueberries, mango, honeydew) and asked to add some rice cake on top. Their shaved ice is more accurately described as shaved snow, and it’s light, fluffy, and not too sweet. Tasted pretty much like fluffy vanilla ice cream. The fruits were really fresh too. I really liked now they drizzled condensed milk over the strawberries to make them sweeter. The mango pieces were a bit sour, so it would’ve been even better if they mixed those with condensed milk too. I’d also never had shaved ice with rice cakes and almond slices before, and I loved it! The rice cakes provided a chewy texture while the almond slices were crispy and nutty. Every bite was so delicious! The only downside was that it was pretty expensive. A large(which isn’t even that large) was over $ 9. Regardless, I’m pretty sure I’ll become a regular here soon enough! You can’t put a price on awesome shaved ice :)

I had the fruit bingsoo! Super refreshing, and it’s not hard and ice cold. It tasted like sweet cream icecream~ The fruits were fresh and sweet, instead of sour. I loved every bite. The customer service was amazing, and I’ll be back to try more!

Located inside Komart grocery if you are looking for this place, friend and I came here after our disappointing visit at No.1 Plus Chicken. FINALLY a patbingsoo served with condensed milk! …K town in Carrolton/Plano please learn from this lol… Good portion for the price and prepared pretty quick. We shared the shaved ice with mixed fruits(strawberries/honeydew/blueberries/mango) minus the nuts. Such a Lovely dessert, so delicate, not overly sweet, and refreshing!

*Look for this place INSIDE the Komart grocery store! Right next to the entrance~) I’m not a fruit with dairy fan(no fruit on top of my non-tart froyo flavors! No ice cream with fruit on my shaved ice at Juice Box in Houston! Yes. I am that party pooper), so if you aren’t either, check this place out for their Injealmee(rice cake) shaved ice! It’s near the food court inside Komart~ :D The bowl came out within five minutes, and it was so pretty! (^^)there’s a lot of soybean powder, which is semi-savory/semi-sweet and extremely pasty(as well as tasty!), so it was easier to eat when we mixed everything together with the shaved ice. The ice itself was light, fluffy, and milk-flavored, and there were bites of tiny rice cakes sprinkled everywhere~ Both of us really enjoyed the rice cake shaved ice! Definitely a sweet break on a warm day~ They have other shaved ice options too, like with fruit or with red bean. It’s $ 6 for a medium and $ 9 for a large(no small?). They didn’t seem to have water, but ask just to make sure!

I couldn’t find this place until I walked into Komart so FYI people! I ordered the one with all the fruits topping. It was good but bland because the shaved ice only have one flavor. womph woph –_–

Like flaky snow flake ice comes together with the toppings of your choice for a memorable dessert. I agree with other post, the sizes are big and well worth the price. I had mine with mango and condensed milk. They even put it in a freezer like bag to go so I could take one home to my husband. Must try, unique dessert. Yum! Go to KoMart and look for the little stand.

I was just visiting Dallas for the week and happened to try Bingsoo Pong, but it is probably the best shaved ice I’ve had in both Dallas and LA! I got the rice cake shaved ice. The milk shaved ice was soft and sweet but the toppings were more savory so overall it wasn’t too sweet. The portion is big enough to share with a friend and the price is good too. I’m definitely going to make this place a regular every time I visit! It may be hard to find at first, but it is actually inside the market, on the right side when you walk in.

We got the rice cake bingsoo, and it was refreshing and delicious. The rice cake was savory and soft and the ice has a really soft snowy texture. It came out fairly fast, and the portion was great for the price. Will be back for more! Can’t wait to try the other flavors!

This place just opened inside komart! They renovated a small area on the right side when you walk in and it’s really well built and super cute! Their specialty is milk shaved ice() but they also have walnut cookies, smoothies, coffee, teas and other little pastries! I’ve been twice now and I’ve tried their fruit shaved ice and also their main dish injulmee shaved ice. Both were soooo good! They do a large for 8.99 and a medium for 5.99, you can also get it togo! I also tried their mango smoothie and ohhh lord. It’s was soooo delicious, hands down the nest mango smoothie in the area. The workers were also super sweet and really helpful, if you’re new to korean shaved ice they do really well at helping you understand what it is and help you order what you’d probably like best! If you’re ever in the area definitely check this spot out!
