After reading all of these reviews about messed up orders I was skeptical ours was going to go well but we used GrubHub and it turned out just fine. We got the Penne w/Marinara and Meatballs and a Ham, Pineapple, and Garlic Calzone. Both were very good! The salad was mediocre/borderline-poor, but I was expecting that based on pictures on here. The salad dressing is obviously not made in-house and had too much oregano to be pleasant. Some of the lettuce had a bit of an off-flavor as well. The breadsticks are a more dry bread and just are brushed with butter/oil. Not my favorite. But the true stars are the marinara and the calzone. The calzone ingredients tasted top-notch and fresh and the dough was excellently fluffy. The marinara had multiple flavor notes and left us wishing for more. We’re definitely ordering from here again!

My boyfriend and I opted to dine in tonight, and we each got a stromboli, and split a cannoli. Let me start by saying the food is amazing. The stromboli crust was flaky and buttery, the filling was flavorful and delicious. The cannoli was crunchier than I would have liked, like biting into a thick cracker, but it tasted good. The only complaint I have is our cashier. Some blonde lady was working the register, and she was a total airhead. Didn’t know a single thing about any of the items on the menu, gave me a paper menu to take home that had prices lower than what we paid(turned out to be an old one), and when I came up after dinner to order the cannoli, she didn’t even put the order in until she came out with her purse ten minutes later to head home and saw me still waiting! I’ll definitely be getting food from here again, but I think it would be safer to stick to delivery.

DONOTPLEACEANORDERFORDELIVERYFROMTHISRESTAURANT… YOUWILLBEVERYDISAPPOINTED! I placed an order online after which I received an email stating the order would take 30 – 45 min. Standard. After 55 min I called and was told the«drive was out for delivery». Ten minutes later I called again this time the person I spoke with placed the blame on the company«MyPizza» that processed the order. The problem is as I mentioned to him was that I placed the order at their site. The fact that they use My Pizza is their choice. They took no responsibility for the problem. Needless to say I cancelled the order after waiting an hour and ten minutes! I asked for an email back with the credit, again they took no responsibility saying My Pizza had to make the credit. I called My Pizza and they told me I would receive the credit in 2 – 3 days. What? You can take my payment now but I have to wait 2 – 3 days to get it back? Over all NONOTUSEANGELOANDVITO’S ORMYPIZZA. NEITHERCANBETRUSTEDTODELIVER. Only reason it is 1star is because I could not put a zero!

This place used to have great food and great service for the price. Not sure what happened but it’s gone downhill fast. It takes them forever to make a pasta order and even a simple side salad takes 10 minutes when we’re the ONLY people in the restaurant. While I know we came in a little over an hour before closing, their refusal to make tea(the canister was empty) as odd. Won’t be coming back.

This dump couldn’t pay me to eat here! They constantly trespass on my property to leave behind coupons and menus. If you have to stalk people at home and deeply discount your trashy food there must be something wrong with it.

This is my favorite pizza place in North Dallas. It’s convenient and affordable! The staff is always really friendly and the food is out of this world delish!!! Reminds me of being in New York City!

We are regulars. Good pizza. If there are more than 3 people in the restaurant, go somewhere else. They can’t handle a rush

Love. love…love the pizza by the slice. I call on a regular to see what pizzas they have available. If you live close by, it’s worth a drive by… Great Pizza!

This place is SO great! You can get pizza by the slice with anything you’d like. It’s BYOB so sometimes I bring beer or champagne! Best pizza I’ve had in Dallas for sure!

Great pizza. 3.24 after tax for a giant slice of meat lovers ?? Thats a deal any where. Im giving 4 stars because the signs on the inside are rude and abrasive, not cute. Seems like the owner is on a real power trip. But ill still keep coming back

This place has great pizza and great service. The crust is soft but not gooey. The cheese is plentiful. Luckily, I live nearby and we order delivery. They are fast and it’s always hot and fresh.

My favorite pizza spot – I come a couple times a month for lunch and bring my husband on the weekends. Awesome pizza and calzones. They make everything in house and very reasonably priced. A coworker introduced me to Angelo & Vito’s 3 years ago, and I’ve been coming ever since. Definitely check it out – it will become your favorite place for pizza!

Food is decent but staff was rude and kicked us out 8 minutes prior to closing. I won’t be back.

This place is really a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, their slices are amazing! I really enjoy their lunch special – a decent NY slice(and they’re huge!), a salad, and a drink for $ 7! But trying to get a whole pie from them is impossible! The pies are not in any way NY style. The crust is too thick and just doesn’t fold the way it should. Synopsis: go for a slice; getting a whole pie will leave you disappointed.

Best pizza in Dallas! Perfectly made. Delicious, thin crust, lots of toppings. And they sell by the slice if you don’t need a whole pie!

Oh how things have changed. I use to love this place and would drive 20 min for their pizza. Last month we ordered two pizzas for pickup($ 30+ dollars) — when I got home… both pizzas were wrong. I called to talk to manager who A) got incredibly defensive and B) told me I could come back for new pizzas. Finally agreed that comping my next large pizza would be a happy resolution. Fast forward to now. I called for my free/comp pizza and I would come by for pickup. A simple large cheese. Told today that they would not comp a large cheese and instead would only give me a medium, or $ 4 off my order. Reminded him that wasn’t our deal. Again he got incredibly defensive and told me that I could either have a medium free pizza, $ 4 off large, or not order from him. I think you know my decision. I could go on, but it’s not worth it. Terrible service, horrible follow through and attention to detail on order. If you order — double check your pizza before you leave. Also, don’t bother calling to complain — they don’t care. I’m out on this place and moving on. I’m not big on reviews(or crappy Unilocal reviews). That said, just amazed at the lack of customer service and unwillingness to make things right — it was like I was doing them a favor… Yes, this is a real customer. Yes, this is a real review.

100% authentic NY style. Best in Dallas. These guys know what they’re doing. Cheap, huge slice, good dough, sauce, and cheese.

Pizza by the slice, about $ 2 each! They also have a lunch special — 1 slice, salad, and a drink. The pizza is out so you can pick your slice and they will heat it up for you. These are large slices, as big as your head! When they warm them up in the oven, they get cheesy and crispy! The service was super friendly and the ambiance was really cute. I grabbed my slices to go but would be comfy to stay and enjoy it in their cute restaurant as well. This place is around the corner from my office so I will be back for more!

I am always trying to find a great delivery place and this one is it! Last night I ordered the chicken pesto pizza, antipasto salad, toscana salad, hot wings and a drink. I always order more because you never know which will be yummy. The pizza had an amazing flavor. The chicken wings were almost the size of a drumsticks. I ordered 12 and was expecting small wings. I could only eat 3 of them they were so large. Also I asked for extra sauce and they gave me some without charging me for it like most other places. Both salads I ordered the small and there were so many topping that I could have made a meal out of them. And last I know this will sound funny but if you order delivery as much as I do you will understand. The soda was priced at $ 2.49 and no size was listed. I assumed they were over charging me for a 20 oz bottle or cans so I got three. You can imagine how surprised I was when 32 liter bottles showed up. I can’t wait to order from them again!!!

I hadn’t been to Angelo & Vito’s since I moved to Houston 6 years ago, so I was super excited to go back and have what I remember to be the best pizza around! We arrived and there wasn’t a soul in there, except for the employees, which we were glad because it was a 4 hour drive from H-town to Big D and we were tired and hungry. I ordered the southwest pizza slice, which had bacon, chicken & veggies on it! It was pretty dried out and I think the last slice they had. So, while the flavor was good, the crust was just too hard and dried out. Since the slices are pretty small(compared to Russo’s New York Pizzeria back home), I decided to get another slice, only this time, I got one with Canadian Bacon, sausage, pepperoni & some veggies(including jalapeños). This one was much more fresh & tasty, with crispy crust but not crust that is so crispy that it taste like it was made the day before(like the southwest pizza I had just eaten … LOL). Now this is how I remember A&V tasting! Overall, it was good, but unfortunately, not quite as good as I remember simply because it was lacking in toppings & cheese.
