My husband and I love Sunday brunch but we don’t really like to wait close to 45 minutes to get a table. I was getting annoyed by the long wait, but customers kept coming in through the door that I had to find out how good the food really was. The place was packed and crowded and just really busy. Once we got a table and were given our food, I then understood why there was a never ending line of customers. The food was delicious and fresh! The wait is worth it!

Good service and good food. However once it got a little busy service went down and customers were ignored

I LOVE angela’s! It’s an unassuming place, but believe me, it can get packed on a sunday morning! Migas are my favorite here! Coffee is solid. I love the juice bar, which helps if you feel the need to cleanse your system after stuffing it with pancakes, eggs, and hash browns! Support local businesses!

An unlikely café snuggled on the first floor of the shopping strip at the northeast quadrant of Lovers and Inwood Rd. At first glance, the café appears out of the ordinary — a well-maintained building, but the interior of this café stamps its age. Cosmetic updates are highly demanded, but please don’t change the service or food. I’ve lived in this area over 10 years and never batted my eyes in this direction, thanks to Unilocal, they led me right to this place when I was looking for breakfast a joint that was open at 6 in the morning. Very well-priced food and generous portions. I ordered breakfast tacos and they were filled generously with chorizo, potatoes, egg and cheese. So glad I found this joint! Better late than never!

So we walk in and I feel like I’ve been transported back into 1960. The first thing that I noticed is that everyone patronizing this diner looked the same. LITERALLY the only diversity in there was brought on by the wait staff. We stayed at the Embassy Suites 2 miles down the road and found this place on Unilocal. It got 4 stars and rave reviews for the food. Looking around the diner I couldn’t help but ask myself why isn’t there an assortment of people around here? What a strange feeling especially in a cosmopolitan city like Dallas and in 2015. Any who, the food was ok. I had the chicken fried steak and my boyfriend the chorizo with scrambled eggs. He told me he liked his meal though it lacked flavor. My chicken fried steak was a tad salty. The hash browns were the most enjoyable in my opinion. Many of the ceiling tiles were stained and that turned me off. No one wants to be shrouded by a ceiling stained with lord knows when they are trying to eat a meal. The server was pleasant, the food unremarkable and the atmosphere a tad bit too stuffy for my liking.

Food is good and so is service. You have to be very careful when ordering a special. Today I ordered a breakfast special. Staff says«do you want, bacon sausage or ham with that»? It doesn’t. As if if comes with it, but now I am paying extra. So annoying when one is expecting to pay one price and now it is much more.

Extremely fast service(fastest food delivery after order that any other establishment, period). Food was good, hot and the portions were ok. Establishemnt is in a strip mall, so that’s kind of a turn off but the interior was ok albeit on the cramped side.

This place is super dank. Simple, fast and delish. Angela’s has the ambiance of a 5 start diner and the food compliments quite nicely.

Very fast service and great food. Be wary of their extremely large potions, I ordered the Texas omlet and it was massive! I was also surprised to see that they had a juice bar, yay!

Great omelette. Took a bit to get seated but once I was sat down the service was great, too. Clean bathrooms. I would definitely come again.

I absolutely love Angela’s! Every time I go I end up eating far beyond«full» because everything is so delicious and the portions are huge! I love the migas, the chocolate chip pancakes, the breakfast tacos/burrito, the hash browns… Everything is delicious! Lots of options and decent prices! And I love the atmosphere! Feels very neighborhood-esque and comfortable. Even little tears in the booth cushions adds ambiance. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots :]

Good morning, Angela’s! Breakfast awaits. My parents love this place and bring me here for breakfast almost every visit. It’s solid. The bacon is super crispy and the coffee fresh. The hash browns are crispy and never cold in the middle. They had cornbread pancakes as a special, which sounded great. The waitstaff is always nice and accommodating. They appear to have wifi for those who need a working breakfast or lunch. Parking is a breeze.

I love the family café feel of Angela’s. This is an easy«everything is good» for breakfast/brunch spot that never disappoints! Be prepared for a large generous portion of whatever you order, and that’s not a joke. The juice bar is my new best friend! They don’t use organic fruits and veggies(neither does Whole Foods) but that’s a trade for proximity and efficiency for me. It’s pretty well nestled in my 3 mile bubble. I stop by 3 – 4 times a week for a custom-made juice, and it hits all the marks for me: variety of fruits & veggies, good price($ 6), great product and fast service. When I dine in with my family, I love the old fashioned 2 eggs, bacon & hash browns and it comes with toast or biscuits. My husband will get the same as me(usually) and the pancakes are great for my little one! I have never had lunch here because I’m a breakfast kinda girl, but I bet lunch is good too. The restaurant is pretty big and there are a lot of tables, so even on a busy Saturday morning there is plenty of seating. Why only 4 stars instead of 5 you ask? It’s a little dated, and not pristine & beautifully decorated… and that’s part of the charm.
