A Cool Studio

Looking for diamonds in the semi-​rough? A Cool Studio is a perfect fit for your search!
Located in the Design District, this diverse space is a one-​stop-​shop for those in need of photography, design, and/​or event space. It is wo-​manned by a team of professional and friendly females, including Lori (one of the designers), Alaina (one of the photographers), and Alyssa (the chief marketer). All three are a pleasure to speak with and are clearly VERY capable of their individual roles. (Note: I hope I spelled these lovely ladies’ names correctly!)
The space itself provides a multitude of options, ranging from professional photo sets to the much more fun photo booth (complete with Tom Cruise masks and all kinds of sweet hats) to a miniature stage and more. I appreciated the minimal setup and the variety of design options to which I was only partially exposed.
If you need your pic snapped or your event to be held in a nice place run by nice people, don’t be a fool! Go to A Cool Studio!

A beautiful spot hidden in the design district conducive for any type of event or photography setting. The raw space first greets you with a quaint waiting room with adorable family pics that look down on you as wait. It almost makes you imagine what kind of portrait setting you’d prefer, or what your unborn children will look like and if you are imaginary future family is the type to have a black & white photo or a full-​fledged colored portrait by a lake or something. You know — the kind when everyone is wearing the same colored shirt or something.
The remainder of the space is an industrial, raw space with photo vignettes that line the walls. You ever wonder where they take catalog shots of a woman cooking in the kitchen or teen girls jumping on the bed? They do it here… in small cubicles that can be transformed into setting possible.
However, I had the pleasure of visiting this space for a partay! They did such a wonderful job with dressing the raw space with soft, pin-​point lighting, an exciting stage with music that overlooks a spacious dance floor. But the best part? The photo-​booth! They have a built in photo booth with a plethora of costumes. After your modeling session, you can even pic up a copy for yourself!
