This dessert and lunch business moved around the corner and is sharing a space with Sugar Creek Too. Desserts are still as amazing as ever and so creative. Just love that someone here local makes a blueberry and cream cheese hand pie. I still need to go check out her lunch menu and sit at the table in there. You can browse antiques and fun home furnishings before or after you have your lunch and dessert. *********************************** By my calculations this was the first cupcake-selling store in Dade City. Now there are two. What could be better? I walked in last weekend as the deli/bakery was closing for the day and was greeted by the nicest, most friendly and engaging owners. This shop is primarily a deli that sells pastries, cupcakes, brownies, etc. mostly to the weekday lunch crowd but is also open on weekends. And they have Bluebell ice cream too. I think next time I will get a cupcake with a side of ice cream and sit there at the tables watching the cars go by on 7th Street. I have to try a sandwich too but am guessing they are good as the owners mentioned they are quite busy during the week. As for the cupcakes(and I am not doing any comparisons to the other cupcake shop because each sells a different experience), I loved the Chocolate one with Butter cream Frosting, Chocolate Syrup drizzle and Twix bar topping. The Lemon Pound Cake with Butter cream Frosting and Lemon Candy topping was good too but I refrigerated the second one and it actually tasted better cold(yes, I had three cupcakes in one weekend!). The owner offered to frost more cupcakes for me with Peanut Butter Frosting but I said I would come back and try those next time. I am curious what other flavors they have. The cupcakes go for around $ 2.50 which is pricey but is the average cost for cupcakes.
