Stopped in for Pad Thai take-out. Food made fresh, good flavor but chicken was very dry and there were only a couple bean sprouts.

Well what. Can I say like some of the other reviewers I got a plate full of lettuce! Ordered the garlic chicken and got a garlic salad!!! If I wanted salad I would of ordered salad for $ 9.50 was totally not worth it and had to pay $ 1.25 more for rice the food was ok but not there on the seasonings couldn’t taste the garlic we drove along ways to get there and even the other dish was not spicy as asked for had to add a lot of Chilli powder to make it to my liking as well it was also very minty and didn’t order anything minty! I had to ask for the tray of spices will go the the other THAI bbq places instead of this one we had to stop and get something else to eat as there was very little protein on the place so had to pay twice for lunch today how sad!!!

My hubby was disappointed with his order of calamari $ 9.75 and it was only 8 pcs and imbedded in this lettuce making it look like a lot. Thai BBq in Cerritos do not have the lettuce bed and serves a platefull of calamares. My husband said he will not go back to this one in Valley View. He was hungry after a game of golf and was so disappointed with their servings.

Unilocal challenge 201628⁄116 Local Thai place off Valley View across from Cypress College. Been here quite a few times over the years and have always been happy. Our service is usually pretty good. We have yet to have a bad experience. We have a rule when we eat here. The 2 of us order at least 3 dishes, sometimes even more. We eat a lot!! Then put everything in the middle and share. Take the rest home. They have lots of choices with a price tag of about $ 9.00 per dish. Lunch time is the time to go, since the prices are a lot cheaper. Chicken Satay ala carte or the satay dinner has always been a winner with my tummy. Difference between the two is, the dinner has rice, the Ala Carte no rice. This dish can easily be shared when paired with another dish. Pad Thai comes with chicken, Beef or shrimp. A must have on our table every time. Very yummy. Thai iced coffee always hits the spot, just wish the drinks were bigger. I am a fan! 3.5 #843

Most hole in the wall joints usually bang out really authentic and delicious food. For this place it’s definitely NOT the case. I ordered the egg rolls bit into it and it was nothing but huge chunks of cabbage and barley any meat. The Thai boat came out and looked so promising, but wasn’t, it was bland no flavor. I had to add so much to the soup to make it edible. And the restrooms, you have to ask them for the key unbelievable. But the service was good, the waitress that help us was very nice.

I really enjoyed this place everything was good. Pretty quiet place. The prices are decent but you get what you pay for.

Thai food is really over rated and over priced IMO. I would rather enjoy a plate of Italian dish for the price of a Thai dish.

This place deserves more of a 3.5 star I’ve been to this location a couple time before and they give you BIG portions. Every time I come to this location I forget how much food you get for your money. I’m all about family style, and this place makes t easy to do that. It might not have the best customer service, but the food is pretty good. It’s not a place that I would drive out of my way for, but if I’m in the area and in the mood for thai food, why not.

Two stars because the customer service is mediocre. I wasn’t sure if their lunch special for pad thai included any meats or not since it only showed noodles. I asked the waiter and she said she couldn’t understand me when all I simply asked if there were any chicken or shrimp included in the pad thai. She was very rushing when it came to ordering the food. Their pad thai was okay. Honestly, if I wanted to get thai food for $ 7, I would go to Vientienne Thai Laos in Westminster. More veggies are on the pad thai and the servings are huge(You literally cannot eat the plate by yourself). Unfortunately, this was right across the school before I had class again so I didn’t have much option. My money would’ve been better off at panda express or the mexican food restaurant nearby.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times because my campus is across the street and fried rice or noodles is perfect around lunch time. BUT they are so rude here they could care less that you want to spend your money here. The last time I came in I hadn’t even looked at the menu for a minute and was being told to «just pick» something. Like what’s the rush? The quality of the food is okay but the placement of this spot is convenient. Luckily, they don’t have to worry about me coming in ever again.

Customer service is below average. No air conditioning. Super super hot and not that pleasant while eating a hot soup. Ate the lunch special Beef Noodle Soup. Definitely a good amount and it was good. Thai tea was the same, but a limited amount of liquid. Price was decent, approximately $ 10 bucks for both items. Not too bad except for the heat. I was sweating so bad from the Hot restaurant. Not coming back.

I think the customer service really throws me off. Its a casual restaurant with no more than 3 workers during the busiest time of day so it’s hard to grab a waiters attention & not repeat yourself more than once. The food isn’t the best & sometimes it doesn’t taste fresh. I either get pad Thai or pad see yew & sometime the meat is tender and fresh but most of the time it tastes very chewy & almost microwaved.

Some of the food here is passable, meaning edible but nothing to rave about. It would seem they have a tendency to add random ingredients to some of their dishes that you’d never find in the authentic Thai version. Add to that blasé service and a complete lack of attention to detail and 2 stars is actually pretty generous. They confused two items on their own menu and gave us the wrong food. We were the only ones in there and it was a to-go order so it’s not like they had anything else to divide their concentration. And yet … Maybe if the food had been spectacular, it might have made up for something, but they didn’t even have that going for them. My theory is the only reason they’re still in business is because they lucked out on a location conveniently located across from an active college campus. The day crowd is likely saving them. It’s a ghost town at night and now I know why.

Great quality of food but the whole place could be better. Today, my boyfriend and I went to go get some Thai food because we were both craving, and this happened to be the closest one around. We’ve been here before and I’ve tried a few others, but I absolutely love the quality of the food here compared to any other that I have tried so far. We had the pad Thai lunch special with chicken and Chicken Curry both for $ 6.75 each I believe.(Lunch special is only from Mon-Fri 11am-3pm) I cannot emphasize on how satisfied I was with our food. The pad Thai came in a very large portion and looked very appetizing to eat. It was just right, the chicken was very well done and everything just went well together. The chicken curry was also BOMB, the potatoes were so soft and the salad that came on the side was sooooooo good. I’ve never had salad w/their dressing before and I was just so overwhelmed with the delicious food we were eating and for only that price. It tasted like a meal that my momma made. The only downside is that the place itself doesn’t look too great. It was warm inside… When the weather out was almost 90 degrees… They should definitely work on making the appearance of the place because I believe it’ll attract more costumes. The service was quick, we sat ourselves. Got our drinks within 5 minutes, ordered, and got our meal within the next 10 minutes. Very quick and the lady came back to ask if we were okay and how our meal was!

THEYREOPENSUNDAYS. Unilocal and Google say theyre closed but theyre open 7 days. I’ve been going here for quite some time now and I do enjoy their food, however, the price is a bit much. In the past, as a struggling college student, it was a bit of a tease seeing them posted up across campus with such high prices. Their beef panang is soo yummy, one of my fave dishes here. When I was pregnant and nauseated, their tom yum goong was a lifesaver for me! Pad see ew is good and pad thai also! I’ve had all these dishes at other locations, and have to admit I’ve eaten in a few better spots, but since this is local, it is def a good place for a quick fix. Again, not a big fan of their expensive menu. But I heard thai food does NOT come cheap!

Was in the area and wanted to try a different location for thai food. All the reviews are so inconsistent I decided to take a chance. We ordered for take out for a large group and it was ready as soon as we arrived. Rids were good, BBQ chicken was good, beef & chicken sate were awesome, pad thai & Tom yum soup was awesome with curry chicken. Everything is open to opinion where there favorite thai food spot is, when in the area this would be our number 2 go to spot.

Last night a few of my friends were ordering food from here so I decided to go ahead and place an order also for carry out. 2 beef satay, 2 bbq chicken, and I order chicken red curry. The food came out pretty quickly considering we got there in 20 minutes and food was already made. I go through the bag to make sure everything was in there and noticed there was no rice. So I asked if there was any rice and she tells me the satay and chicken plate comes with rice … Fried rice … So I ask her if I can have some white rice with my CURRY then charges me $ 1.35. Never again

April 5, 2015… Easter Sunday. Customer service is worst every time we dine-in or take out. The hostess sat is down right away. We gave our order to one of the waitress and she was cleaning the other tables 15 minutes later she comes by and asked us to repeat our order again! In my mind I was like really??? She hadn’t even put the order into the computer yet. WTF??? So I repeated the order once again! 18 minutes later our Sate half beef and half chicken came out then she brought us our soup and I asked if I can please get some peanut butter with the Sate, she said oh I forgot. Then the combination fried rice and our steam rice came out. To be honest the Thai food here is not even that great but we were barely having our first meal at 2:30 pm. My bf wanted Thai not me!!!
