Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

Selena, the store manager, went above & beyond for our daughter’s Birthday! It was really cool! The kids were able to tour the kitchen, pile up in the freezer & refill the frozen yogurt! They all had a blast!

I’m a fan of Menchie’s in general. This particular location isn’t my favorite, but it’s convenient when I’m at my sister-in-law’s home. I once visited this Menchie’s with my niece and nephew. I don’t often go on outings with elementary school aged children, so that was interesting. They have great flavors at this location and apathetic teenagers behind the registers. I just love Menchies; it’s hard to mess it up.

After reading the surprisingly good reviews of this place I thought I definitely needed to write a review of this place. We go to frozen yogurt places all the time and have been to several other Menchies. This one, while doesn’t rate at the worst of any brand, is the worst Menchies we have been to. It should have been a sign that their front door was broken and propped open even though was about 50 degrees outside. Got inside and noticed how dirty and non-​maintained the yogurt stations were. Every single one of them had yogurt on the bottom that needed to be wiped. Out of the 5 flavors that my wife tried, 3 of them were completely out. There were lights blinking all of the place on the machines. This place was a mess. Also, most of the toppings needed to be refilled and looked like they had been there all day (this was around 6:30pm). Probably the worst part was how much food and toppings were sitting on the counter in front of the toppings station. It was disgusting. As it turns out looks like there was only one person working there at the time which didn’t help but even when all of the customers in the store got their yogurt the one employee there. Worker didn’t seem very motivated to do much to clean up the food area or make sure all of the flavors were working properly. More than likely we won’t find ourselves in this place again after this experience and our search continues for a decent frozen yogurt place in Cypress. I should have taken pictures of off this place was.

Most awesome froyo in the world. Seasonal flavors are spot on and toppings are the best.

VERY KID FRIENDLY. The staff was very friendly as soon as we walked in and they greeted us with big, happy, smiling faces. When you look on the counter they have a silver tray with lots of little sample cups that are turned face down.(I’m assuming for cleanliness purposes.) Apparently there is no limit on how many samples you can get because my two young nieces ran up and grabbed about 3 cups a piece and the employees didn’t mind. They had an awesome Nutella, Dulce De Leche and a Pomegranate Acai which were my three favorites. As far as fresh fruit toppings go, they could use some more choices but the one’s they had were really good and definitely fresh. They had no shortage of candy toppings, cereal, granola etc… Besides that you could add Hersheys syrup, Nutella, Caramel and other syrupy type toppings to your yogurt. After we paid the employees gave my nieces each a sticker. We went and sat in an area with a big chalk board, comfy benches and the staff gave my nieces a big bucket of different colored markers and some papers to color on. This place has great yogurt, a great staff and is VERY kid friendly. I’m very pleased. Oh yeah and don’t forget to use your 10% off check in offer.

I satisfied my crazy sweet tooth here while I was pregnant. Has almost every topping imaginable. I especially love the strawberry boba. Delish!

I use froyo as a reward for my child behaving and helping around the house, i belive i look forward to our ice cream «sundays» more than she does! The Hershey shell is always what gets me! Menchies is the only froyo place i have been to that has it! Definitely my go to froyo!

Monday date night. A cup however full for $ 5. Munchies is the first fro-​yo place I’ve come repeatedly to. Different flavor a that are unique, fresh fruit and site spoons.

Menchies is my favorite froyo place. Their yogurt is just the right amour if sweet and tart. They have good toppings but I wish they had a couple more fruit options.
I appreciate that they let you try as many samples as you want and don’t just limit you to three like at other shops. Also they’re reasonably priced — not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.
This location is clean with very friendly staff. But, it’s pretty popular so it can be hard to find seating sometimes. They do have outdoor seating though if the weather is nice enough.

Love Menchie’s! They have taken the time to master customer service and a family friendly environment. You get the same service at all of them. The only downside is, if you have a favorite flavor, it may not be there next time you go. I miss the blueberry! This location runs out of fruit frequently, but they do refill, and are quick to help if you ask for more.

Yummy frozen yogurt place. Has a nice area for the kids. It is clean and well kept. Love it!

So clean and beautiful! They have so many flavor and toppings. From animal crackers to mini gummy bear this place is heaven. You can try a little before you buy. There is even fresh fruits on the topping bar. I love ice cream but I am becoming more and more a froyo lover!

My favorite dessert place!!! Love the atmosphere. I don’t feel like I am «watched» like at other frozen yogurt franchises.

Make sure to try the flavors first. I love some of them and think the others taste really weird. I also never let my kid have her own cup, because it holds a deciving amount.

This is my favorite frozen yogurt place. I like the selections and the staff is always super nice. They are always going out of their way to say hi to my son and give him stickers. They have a great variety of frozen yogurts and change them seasonally. Also, I love all their different toppings. Fun place for the family.

I have been going to the Menchie’s off of Louetta. I was very happy to find out that they built one on Barker Cypress which is closer to my house. The difference in the two stores is how they treat the kids. The one on Louetta is really kid friendly and is always ready to offer a toy or a balloon. It seems that at the Barker Cypress location, I have to ask for it which is something that I never had to do. I have been to the store about 6 times now and only once did a girl offer a balloon to my son. I am hoping that this is because the store just opened and is still working the kinks out. I will change my review rating later if it improves.
I really like this store, they offer many different flavors and toppings. My favorite is the mochi and gummy bears. My sons are 5 and 2 and they like the mochi (Sweet rice candy), gummy bears, strawberry and mangos in theirs.
Update: They don’t offer the kid’s toys anymore. Just stickers and tattoos.

I really like Menchies.
Self served froyo, there is a flavor to meet your tastebud. Not too tart, and not too sweet, unless you really want it to be.
I personally like the pineapple dole froyo, with strawberries, coconut shavings, and mochi. My boyfriend got the waffle cone on the side to contrast the smooth and crunchy texture.
With the variety of topping to match any sweet tooth, this place is a candy land for both adults and kids alike.

Menchie’s is awesome. Better than Orange Leaf fo sho.

No fruit flies around my mix as of October so problem solved!
However Stephanie rocks! Very helpful, very knowledgable. Unfortunately I got the impression she may not always work at this location. Bummer!
Menchie’s froyo is decent, ain’t my fav but I’ll continue to visit until my fav opens up in Willowbrook.

Like any other froyo place. They had flavors I haven’t seen before: Mud Pie, Dulce De Leche, Pineapple.
I also like the selection of toppings. Some include grasshopper bits (crushed mint cookies) and flavored boba balls.
Another plus is if you check-​in on Unilocal you get a free waffle bowl.
Clean inside as well.
