I came across a phone number, after having being let down by Major pool company for regular maintenance, cleaning services –including problems.
So when I left iMessage for Justin, I was ever so grateful to get a phone call after business hours! I had already set myself up to be disappointed by this company too. The luck I have isn’t great.
I had some problems with my spa draining down into my pool and no one could fix the problem. I was and had paid for multiple people to figure out what was going on. I also had a problem with air in my main circulation pump. No one could figure it out. Sigh.
On Justin’s first visit, (which was the next day) he was able to find the problem with the pump (old non working ozone system) AT FIRST GLANCE! I had contacted multiple people, and multiple people could not find the problem.
He also sent someone out to fix the issue of my spa draining. He also noticed that on my overflow from the spa to the pool needed to be redone from wear (water features). Got that fixed. I was a SUPER HAPPY CAMPER!
I signed up for maintenance and service immediately. Overall with my service, I could not be happier! Justin has either let me know, if an issue came up and he would not be cleaning on a particular day, but he has always shown on the rescheduled date. People, even business owners, have personal matters to deal with. He’s always made up for cleanings. Of course I do not expect anyone to come clean any pool during inclement weather. I certainly would never be out cleaning my own pool with a metal pole reaching towards the sky during lightning or thunder! No WAY!
I have purchased all 3 pumps and updated my automation system (not all at once) a new blower, basket replacements and jets for the spa — which after a couple of sets I was unhappy with, and included me to know different options I had. He didn’t charge me additionally when I wasn’t happy with the install! One of my pumps motors was quite loud for being a new pump, and it was noticed during a regular cleaning maintenance. It was within a couple of days Hayward was out to replace the motor! I did not even notice it was louder than it should have been. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!!
I also contact him about changing settings for my pool and the use of my automation system. He gives on-​going customer service, and helps with any question I may have. And the response isn’t given a week later! He’s fast, he’s great at what he does and is so much more knowledgeable than any other service I’ve been with — and Unfortunately, I’ve been with more companies who are dishonest than I’d like to admit.
Although, owning a pool can be quite costly, Justin has actually helped me SAVE money! Who doesn’t love saving money?!?
A big plus for me: Justin is nice to my dogs!
I have had him for service for quite a while and I will be a customer for as long as he is in business! It’s very hard to find a company like this one!

Still waiting for Justin to show up, first appt he said had a family emergency texted day after saying he can make another appt. went ahead and made one and still never called or showed up. Waste of time avoid this place.

Having designed and perfectly constructed pool by J’s Pools & Spas was more than just the experience. They are dually the most organized, devoted team to every aspect of the process from start to finish. Without us having any knowledge of pools & the omnilogic system installation, J’s came highly recommended to us. They certainly backed up their reputation and will now have lifelong customers.

Justin and Sarah provide great service! They have cleaned my pool for 2 years now and I have never had a problem. They are always quick to answer my text and emails concerning my pool, which really sets them apart from my other cleaners in the past. Justin has been on the money with all his pool services. Had a new heater installed by his company and the cleanings have been spot on. Would highly recommend.

J’s Pools and Spas has been servicing our pool for about two years now and we are very happy with their service. Justin is always very professional. Our previous pool company was impossible to get a hold of, but Justin is quick to respond and is always available. Our pool is consistently sparkling clean even during our recent harsh Houston summer… not a single bit of algae or growth. On several occasions during the hot summer, our pool water level was too low to service so Justin had to return on a subsequent day to complete the cleaning which he did without complaint. Any time we have had equipment issues, Justin has replaced the parts promptly and at very reasonable prices. I love knowing that each week, without fail, our pool is going to be clean, in working order, and ready to dive into! Keep up the great work!

Went through a few pool services before I found J’s. They are very reliable and always did a great job. I would recommend J’s to anyone who loves a clean pool!

Justin is a nice guy who seems to work hard, it just didn’t work out for us. Twice in 4 weeks he didn’t come on the scheduled day (he came a different day) and we ended up with a green pool and had to work to fix it ourselves after only 3 weeks. Not exactly the reason you hire a pool service company… We’ve decided to use another company that was recommended highly and hope they do a better job.
