My son was at CELC all I can say is that he was kinder ready! Nowadays schools require your children to know all the letters of the alphabet, the sounds, writing them neatly, and recognizing numbers 1 – 100. I wasn’t concerned with the parking as much as I was with making sure the teachers were nice and really cared about their students. Hands down to Mrs. Tomeka and Mrs. Dana for taking the time out to get to know each student and helping them become young responsible citizens. Holding them accountable and rewarding them when it was well deserved. Mrs. Tracy(director) always had time to hear any concerns and ideas from the parents. They have many activities there from Happy Feet Soccer to Webby Dance Co. We received very nice pictures in the fall and on their graduation day. Their feast in November was nice and seeing Santa and Mrs. Clause in December was great for the whole family to enjoy. Throughout the time my son was there I refferred three parents and their children stayed and attended CELC. Mrs. Donna is so caring and she really knows how to help build their self-esteem. Thank you to CELC for helping my little one and so many others in receiving such great care and knowledge! definitely recommend this pre-school and the price for what your receiving is well worth it!

I have had two children at CELC. The program uses Zoophonics to teach the children the alphabet and sight words. They use various modalities, such as song, movement, and games to encourage fun learning. The teachers have been there several years and are dedicated to bring out the best in each child. The parking can get rather crowded, depending on the time children are dropped off and picked up. Because it is near a traffic light, turning in to the school can be challenging if traveling east on Cerritos. I notice the teachers cleaning the tables with disinfectant wipes, but I find the classroom chairs need a little attention. In general though, the school is clean and organized. The fees are reasonable and include a hot lunch. They potty train when the family is ready to also train at home. Open from 6:30AM to 6:30PM, the school provides supervision/care to support busy, working parents.
