I saw these guys post-stats test as I was wondering out of the Lonestar Cypress testing Center. Apparently there was a festival of some sort? No cupcakes today but they had fried oreos, their cake daes?, etc. I tried a fully loaded iced mocha. Very good but more on the sweet side(it IS a sweets truck people). I say fully loaded, because the whip and chocolate syrup formed a sugar mountain on TOP of my drink. Thanks guys for not giving less coffee like some places, just to fill it with whipped cream!!! I appreciate it. Service was nice, friendly and fast. I also appreciated the fast service while waiting in cool drizzly November weather. Thanks guys! I’ll see y’all next time to try your cupcakes.

(Btw u guys should put yourselves in Google for search hits for any location like u do here in Unilocal even if it’s the wrong place, people know it’s a good truck) Funny that I read about this place a long time ago since they appeared on the map close to where I live even though it’s food truck, because I found them finally out at the mall while they were trying the Black Friday crowds. Had a funnel cake which was spectacular, just so much going on with the crunch and softness, that powdered sugar with the fried goodness, and so light-weight and fluffy. I’m sure that’s a staple for them, but I talked with the owner for a while(he was awesome) and he likes to keep new stuff rotating on their menu all the time, obviously anything fried goes like snickers or Oreos. Will be back to try more tmrw…

This was a second visit. The first was a couple of years ago. At that time, the cupcakes were OK and pricey. The order taker was lacking in customer service… very curt and not helpful. I was a little put off by the experience, but hey, everyone can have a bad day. At that time, I was following them on FB until they posted a «boycott oil companies» in their status.(Gas prices were rising at the time.) Uhhhh, they are in Houston… specifically the west side of Houston which is the Energy Corridor… talk about biting the hand that feeds you. I did notice that the status was removed in fairly quick order but alas, I had seen it and it’s a little hard to forget, especially since the oil industry is the one that puts food on my table. Fast forward to the rodeo yesterday. I saw their truck and decided to give them another try since their Frosty Bite had won a rodeo food award last year. MISTAKE. Again, the order taker was quite rude. I asked for a Frosty Bite… didn’t know what my options were but was rudely told to look at the menu or to scan their QR code. Should have walked but didn’t. Again, the food was OK but pricey. Won’t bother getting my head bit off a third time.

Had the funnel cake and it was amazing! Also the wife and husband who work there and own it are super nice! Def one of the best funnel cakes I’ve ever had!
Went to the Rodeo last night and I had a deep fried Moon Pie. It was so crisp and hot. Not at all greasy, it was so light. My husband had a deep fried brownie ball with ice cream. I wish I could speculate as to what it tasted like but he ate it all before I had even a bite. I’m assuming it was delish. Great customer service. Can’t wait to find them on the streets. Make sure to follow them on facebook so you can see where they are at.

You had me at deep fried Snickers. The only way this could have been any better is if it was a deep fried Peanut Butter Snickers(you know, the ultimate spawn of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and Snickers). But I digress. I was at the No Label Brewery this weekend in Katy and Custom Confections was one of the trucks just chillin’ outside. Upon arrival I noticed the bright and large Sweet Shop sign and knew that around my third beer that I was going to have to go and check out what lied within. I rolled up to the counter and it was suggested to me by the gentleman that I was with that I should try the deep fried Snickers. The owner suggested some ice cream type of thing and normally I would have been totally into it, but it sounded enormous to be drank with beer. I waited a little less than 5 minutes and low and behold I had my delicious deep fried delight. I’ve never had a deep fried candy bar until this moment and I swear it was like a foodgasm in my mouth. Sooooo good. I don’t know if I could ever eat a regular Snickers ever again. I have no idea how they have negative reviews — perhaps these people have no taste buds or are just stupid? Possibly both?

I would give this business 0 stars if I could. HORRIBLEHORRIBLE business etiquette. Basically cancelled my order and kept my deposit because I missed the payment deadline for the remaining balance by a few days. There was no notice on her part of cancellation or reminder to help pay. She insisted she emailed me but when I asked for proof of these emails regarding reminders and cancellation of my order she would not produce them. I couldn’t even get her to return my phone calls. She started avoiding me. I have tried to ask her for a compromise to see how I can revive my order as I placed it 2 months in advance and already paid for 50%. She basically said order cancelled, period. No discussion. I have never met anyone that does business that way. Even the cable company calls you before they cut you off. She never once called me to let me know she was canceling my order, I didn’t not receive any notice. Had I not called her 5 days before to amend my order, I wouldn’t travel to known that I would not have a cake for a child’s birthday. I keep asking for a liver conversation but she won’t even call me back or take my phone calls. STAYAWAY!

Never order from them; their customer service is extremely terrible. Very happy went with a different vendor. Don’t waste your time with them.

Tried their sweetnes at a food truck meet up out in Katy. Frozen. Hot. Chocolate. I could end my review there, but I can’t. I had a chocolate cherry brownie/cuppiecake. It was so decadent. The cherries were not too sweet or too tart, the chocolate was like ahhhhhh I can’t even describe it. It was almost too much to finish. I also had their frozen lemonade which was so refreshing on a hot day, especially after I ate that chocolate piece of gold. Next time, I’m going for one of those balsamic cupcakes!

Got to try them out at a recent food truck meet-up and my sweet tooth is very glad I did. They have lots of offerings so no matter your sweet preferences, chances are something will sound yummy to you. Due to the heat, I tried what was basically a combo of a lemonade and a smoothie. It was a very nice way to beat the heat. My partner snagged a brownie that had an ice cream center, and the only problem there is that one wanted more. Hope to see them around at future events, because life is too short not to have dessert.
