Make sure to check your order before leaving. I ordered carna asada fries, and they somehow became carana asada nacho chips when i got home. So pist!

This place is absolutely disgusting! Went late night and the drive thru was busy. We ordered wet burritos and the cheese wasn’t even melted. We asked for extra sauce and they didn’t want to give us any. Our food was cold and sooo gross! Avoid this place at all costs!

Went here after having a sudden craving for carne asada fries and find out the closest alertos was 9 miles away! I was in my car so I only briefly read a few reviews but just decided to take a chance !! And a good leap of faith I was ! These fries are very good, not as good as alertos, but a nice alternative! You have to ask to add beans which is good Bc I hate beans! Everything else is pretty good I wish their red sauce had a little more flavor but all well! Also their driveway splits into a fork if you don’t have a person on the passenger side GORIGHTNOTLEFT !!! I made that mistake today and had to unseat belt myself

I have been to this place a few times. I recently got the side order pollo asada fries, and my stomach didn’t like what ever was in the food. It is possible I got food poisoning. I haven’t gotten a reaction like this to Albertaco’s before. And, this was my first time trying the pollo asada fries. I have tried the carne asada fries with no problem. It could be the chicken that was the issue. Their california burrito is good though. Be careful what you eat here!

I’ve had other Carne Asada fries before at different places, and this place has the best carne asada fries ever. They’re not soggy, cold, all clomped to one side while the toppings are on another. This place is the best! I’m not a taquito person, and honestly wasn’t a fan of their taquitos, but everything else is super delicious :)

Went tonight for the first time, ordered carne asada fries and Cali burrito. They were both great but I should of added beans to the fries and the burrito! Burrito Was really dry since I don’t like sour crème. I should of added guacamole! For sure next time! They give you plenty of really good liquid red salsa. The driver through guy was very nice and welcoming. I will def be back! So far the best quick carne asada fries around. Just add beans next time

My boyfriend has been raving about this place since we moved out in last month. Finally trying it tonight will keep you posted on if it’s worth all this praise he’s been giving it.

The food is amazingly good. I was SUPER excited to check this place out after seeing all of the great reviews and appetizing pictures. My boyfriend wasn’t that excited, but after one bite he was happy I had dragged him to this place lol I have to admit I went a little overboard when ordering because I couldn’t make up my mind on which items I wanted to sample out, and I wasn’t sure of the size portions of certain items. For example I ordered a cheese quesadilla and at some places I have done this and walked out extremely disappointed as the quesadilla was dinky and not satisfying. So I went for the shrimp quesadilla hoping it would be more filling. And I also HAD to try the fries with cheese and guacamole. OHMYGOSH the fries with cheese and guacamole was the BOMB. I would go back just for that alone!!! The shrimp in the shrimp quesadilla was cooked perfectly, however the tortilla was burned and there wasn’t a lot of cheese. The fish tacos were great. And the shrimp burrito was hearty and the shrimp inside was cooked to perfection according to the bae’s report. He loved the fries with guacamole and cheese as well. We will definitely be back to this place! It looks like a random hole in the wall type place with a drive thru– similar to an Alberto’s. I don’t know if the inside of the restaurant was clean/sanitary etc because we hit the drive through. We just got done scarfing our faces and we are overly full with some dank Mexican food!

My husband is a burrito fanatic and recently became aware of the existence of the California burrito, combining his love of burritos that contain meat, beans, sour cream, cheese, and nothing fresh or remotely resembling a vegetable, with his love of French fries. A quick Unilocal search for this menu item brought us to Albertaco’s, located conveniently close to home. Despite not being a burrito fan myself(I usually find them heavy and a bit stodgy) I decided to order the shrimp burrito based on the reviews. Its contents of shrimp, cabbage, rice, and a creamy sauce sounded lighter than the beans I’m accustomed to. We also ordered carne asada fries to split because, well, fries and guacamole are two of my favorite foods. The shrimp burrito was delicious! I will definitely order it again. My husband similarly enjoyed his own burrito. The carne asada fries were good, nothing special, but I am not a huge carne asada fan and the guac wasn’t as fresh as I would have liked. I probably wouldn’t order it again if only because a burrito and half an order of carne asada fries is more food than a person cab reasonably eat. The price was also good, with our order, plus a side of refried beans and a quesadilla(a bit greasy) for the kids, coming to $ 28. I’ll be back for the shrimp burrito next time I don’t feel like cooking.

This is the epitome of mexican food: bad service with great tasting food. Carne asada fries was on point and plenty. Service was slow ad they even laugh when they gave the order to the wrong person and never apologized. Try it out but service can frustrate you.

The rating drop is due to the new girl they have working the drive thru is the worst! I’ve been coming here for years, now it might change due to her! I placed my order and was pretty clear. She got it wrong, and rather than apologizing or just letting it be, she ignored me, then argued that she had the right order! I repeated my order to her nicely even apologized to her if she misunderstood and she continued arguing saying I should just pay for the order she had?! –I was furious and told her she could keep all of the food and drove off. (Hardest thing to do because I enjoy the food but not hard after she was so rude and lacked service) They should really reconsider who they hire for customer service. She is horrible! No one wants a ghetto approach when ordering food. Alberto’s you have got to get new staff. Until then, my money will be sent elsewhere.

I love Albertaco’s!!! I’ve been coming to this location for about 9 years. Long time!!! Yes, Im JUST writing my Unilocal review. Its based on a visit on 11÷15÷15. We went at about 7:30pm. They have two drive thru lines! Yeah! They also have outside seating. To be honest, Ive never looked to see if there is any inside seating. If there is, its very limited. Most people just use the drive thru. There is always a line. Just get use to it. This place is yummy!!! We ordered the carne asada fries, which are HUGE. Honestly, its enough to feed one guy, or two girls. Its a lot. It was my first time ordering that. Sooooooooo delicious!!! I also ALWAYS order a carne asada burrito(meat only) with guacamole and sour cream. Always delicious. The burrito itself is sooo huge, that it feeds me twice. We also ordered a Flying Saucer, which is a tostada like dish. Last thing we got was a pastor burrito. Huge in size… and an horchata. The one thing I’m going to say is that its a little pricey here. To me, anyways. What we ordered came to $ 28. Which is fine, we were in the mood. But, like I said, we don’t come here all the time because it does feel a little pricey. The food is totally worth it, and we will go back again, and again. The service is OK… its just kids working at the window, making extra money. They do a decent job. Always polite! Thanks Albertaco’s!!!

After 15 hours at Disneyland, we needed something to eat! I did a quick search on Unilocal and this little place is close to our hotel, score. A little run down, cheap prices, and long lines at the drive thru, this is my kinda place for Mexican! We ordered the 3 rolled tacos, carne asada nachos, enchiladas, and a regular horchata for under $ 20. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs. My favorite was the nachos. Crispy tortilla chips loaded with carne asada, guacamole, sour cream, and shredded cheese. It was so good. The others were great too. My only gripe was the cheese in both nachos and rolled tacos came shredded and not melted. It didn’t quite have the same effect when the cheese is cold. Albertaco was an awesome choice for a late night meal. Check them out if you’re in the area! PS: it’s not quite fast food. We ordered from the takeout window and it still took about 10 minutes or so for the food to come out.

Ever since I’ve been going to college, Albertacos has truly been there for me. I only get 2 things. The breakfast burrito or the fries with guac and cheese. The drive-thru has a bit of a wait and their speaker quality USED to be bad but they recently installed new ones! The food comes fairly quickly and the food tastes great. Dissappointed though that they charge for extra salsa and they raised the price of the fries with guac and cheese! .50 cents extra, but still so worth it. Lowkey they prob hiked the price cause I’ve gotten it so many times. Gonna become the most regular kid here folks

I live down the street from here. I’ve been coming here for a long time. The prices have increased, but that’s pretty standard for every restaurant. Carne Asada Fries: My favorite place for these. Sometimes I get sour cream on the side. It makes me feel like I get more guacamole, but I’m not too sure if that’s true or not. Carne Asada Nachos: I like getting the chips separately. Chicken Asada Fries/Nachos: DELICIOUS. I have friends who drive out of their way to get this. My sister doesn’t eat beef so this is perfect for her. California Burrito: Good! Like the carne asada fries in a tortilla and no guacamole. Carne Asada Burrito: Good! Comes with guac and pico de gallo I think. Yummmm. For the days I don’t want fries. Breakfast Burrito: For the mornings you want something hearty. Everything here is pretty good! There isn’t any indoor seating. Parking is also limited, but you can park on the other part of the plaza and walk over.

Chicken quesadilla: I wish I had remembered to take a picture of this! Swimming in so much grease(read:deliciousness). Boyfriend asked if I wanted a napkin(or ten) to soak up the grease, to which I replied, «that’s what the quesadilla is for.» The cheese is kind of disgusting, but the shredded chicken is good California burrito: not the best one I’ve ever had. Carne asada is cut up way too small and not that flavorful, cheese, guac, sourcream, and fries. Needs higher meat: potato ratio. Hot sauce is not at all spicy :(

Albertaco’s, you will forever have a piece of my heart. The late night talks in high school, the shenanigans with the fellas, and coming here because I was craving the taste of french fries, cheese, sour cream, and carne asada — all things that I’ll never forget. The California burrito is the one thing that you need to get if you come — it’s essentially the carne asada fries in a burrito and its just as bad(read: good) for you as it sounds. I’ve tried California burritos all around(including spots in San Diego) and I’ve yet to find one better than this place. There’s two drive-thru lines with really shitty speakers. Basically when you hear the static, just say your entire order and then drive to the window, even if you don’t hear a response. Then just drive up to the window and through some form of black magic, they’ll have your entire order for you. Come here and get food. You won’t regret it.

I don’t know how many reviews mention high school, but I certainly reminisce about it every time I come here. I haven’t been here for a while, so it’s time to see if the carne asada fries are as good as they were in my high school days. There are two drive thru windows. Go to the one on the right if you’re alone; if you have someone with you, then you can choose the left lane as well(because the window is on the right). So I got the carne asada fries, as I did so many times in the past. The fries were standard but good. Sour cream, guacamole, and cheese topped the fries, along with carne asada of course. I added hot sauce. I like to mix everything together. Eating this brought me back to high school. The meal was good, but not as good as I remember. It wasn’t stunning or stellar; it was just good. All of the components were good, they just didn’t dazzle and impress like they did so many years ago. I have two theories about what has happened here: 1) Albertacos is not as good as it used to be. 2) Albertacos is exactly the same. I have changed. When I first started eating here over a decade ago, it was the only place I ate carne asada fries at. Over the years, more and more places sprouted up offering carne asada fries. Eventually more and more competition resulted in higher quality and variety, and consumers no longer had only a few places to choose from. In conclusion, the food hasn’t changed, the rest of the world did. Everyone else caught up. I still rate this place as pretty good. If Unilocal was around back in high school, I’d probably have given five stars. Hanging out with friends and driving to Albertacos late at night are some of the fondest memories I have. Those days are gone. We’ve all gone our separate ways. I can’t help but tear up a little when I reminisce.

I’ve recently started going here after years of driving by it. I went there on the recommendation of one of my co-workers. I’m glad I did! I ordered the carne asada fries and HO-LEEEEECRAP!!! I could not believe what was staring back at me in that box! Only a stoner could have thought this mix up!!! Fries, carne asada chunks, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese. I heard my arteries audibly strain just by looking at them. It was awesome. Rockstar status. My wife always gets the chile relleno burrito from there and says it’s pretty good. She’s a vegetarian and picks the fries that don’t have any of the carne asada next to them, but does dip them in the toppings. I recently started getting the street tacos– a bit pricey, but worth it. One of my two complaints is that they always run out of shrimp for these. My other complaint is that they really need to do something about the order intercom. It’s fuzzy, super loud, and you cannot understand the person taking the order. These are the reasons for the minus two stars. Otherwise, the food is great!

I always order the Carne Asada fries here. It’s just like how carne asada fries should be made. Crispy and fresh. The toppings are usually guacamole, sour cream, beans, and cheese. I opt out of the beans because I hate it. I had the fish tacos here before too and they were huge. The fish was crispy and warm and the sauce they provide for the tacos is super spicy. But then again, I can’t handle any level of spiciness. The service isn’t the fastest though… and the employees are there just to work. They’re not there to make a good impression.
