Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library

The library finally re-​opened today after a much-​needed renovation and addition! After a four-​hour afternoon nap to fight my cold, I decided to soak in some fresh air and take a walk to the library to check it out. So glad that I did (although I promply hit the bed once I got home due to dizziness — bah!).
I love that there is a main entrance to the library from the other side of the building now — the side that faces the parking lot. MUCH more convenient, in my opinion. The lobby is grander, the bathrooms are nicer, the children’s area is good, the conferance room addition is great, and the library itself just seems brighter and bigger inside — not so cramped anymore. I do think they could use a better book selection, but that will come in its own time. The renovation/​addition was definitely a good idea. I’m excited!
