I’m unfamiliar with a lot of tea cafes in the San Jose area, by I’m always excited to try one! I wasn’t really sure what to order and on top of that my phone had no service inside the shop for some reason. I decided to go with a grapefruit green tea since I was craving something citrusy and they had a few in the display window! The service was quite quick since they made my drink about 30 seconds after. I also liked that there was a good amount of seating. Most of the time I enjoy sitting down and chatting with my friends as we drink our teas. The grapefruit green tea had a very balanced flavor. I loved the fresh fruit flavor along with the green tea that was neither water down not too strong. I also tried a rose milk tea and thought it was a bit weird tasting. I’m not sure what they use for the rose flavor, but my friend and I agreed it was somewhat reminiscent of ginger

Eh. I think Warm Springs has the better location in terms of drinks. Not sure how long this one has been open since I haven’t been in the plaza for 9 months, but the hazelnut milk tea is watered down, all milk and sugar, barely any tea. Hazelnut isn’t even indicated on the menu! I had to ask. My sister said her milk tea was watered down as well and the pearls tasted a day old. Not good. There was only one person working and he seemed tired/overwhelmed by 9pm, felt sorry for him. They should hire another person. Hot snacks available: popcorn chicken, fried tofu, etc. 4 tables and bar seating at the window. The coin wall is neat, mainly pennies; I added a few coins.

Decided to come here for some reason. Just wanted to try this Verde location. Worst decision ever. Horrible milk tea! I ordered the rose green milk tea with boba and I was extremely disappointed. The milk tea didn’t taste like anything. No rose at all! More of the tea and nothing else. The boba was the worst boba I’ve had in years. They were hard as rocks and wasn’t good at all. Then the girl that made our drinks looked like she didn’t even care about putting time into making a drink. She just put a bunch of stuff together and that was it. Never again! Going to Tpumps from now on if I’m in the mood for milktea!

Disclaimer: this review is for the employees. Came here a couple weeks ago with my sister while we were in the area. Ordered my favorite the QQ ramen milk tea. First off, staff isn’t that friendly and while waiting for my drink I saw the girl that handled our drink sneeze into her hands, didn’t bother washing her hands before touching our drinks and putting it on the cup sealer. Was going to say something but she hurriedly turned around and walked away. I was so disgusted I ended up throwing the drink away. Make sure you watch the people that handle your food and drink closely. She saw me watch her sneeze into her hands and didn’t bother to wash them. What do you think they do when you’re not watching?

okay i have serious issues with this place, first of all, 10 $ min for debit/credit card. who even carries cash ALL the time? and halfway when paying i just noticed 10% off with student card(a small ass poster pasted at the side wall of the store, literally blind spot) i asked if i can get a discount, but the girl said«um you didnt show ur card so i cant» second, i was skeptical of the place so i picked the fail-proof Honey Lemon Tea. how bad could that be? but hell, they fucked it up too. the tea was too strong in contrast of the honey; honey lemon teas should use green instead of black tea, and the lemon tasted fake as well, some kind of powder lemon? wtf like they have jars of powder flavoring, the good places i know uses syrup or even home roasted ingredients. wont even think of coming again anymore. i prefer Tpumps MUCH more than this. located in the same area too, save your money and get away from this place. smh i was expecting good tea and service. so much for the hype.

I ordered the taro milk tea — has it always been tasting like a cup full of sugar all this time?! I couldn’t finish half the drink because it was just way to sweet and there was no ice at all in the drink — which I was hoping could have watered down the sweetness.

It is still amazing to me how this plaza has so many different boba places — talk about competition! I came here because I really wanted to try the QQ ramen that everyone raves about and I wasn’t disappointed! I had the QQ ramen with green milk tea. I really liked the texture of the QQ ramen and thought it was nice to switch it up once a while from boba. To my surprise, the green milk tea was also really delicious! Needless to say, I’ll be back next time I come to the plaza to buy groceries!

I’m glad Verde has found its way back into the area! Their old location across from Vallco used to be one of my go-to hangout spots in high school, so I was sad to see that place go. When I heard that they reopened not too far away, I was more than excited! That being said, this new location is far from what the old one used to be. For starters, the shop itself is much smaller with less seating, and as a result, there’s not as many food options available. Even the drinks menu looked smaller, but the classics and fan favorites are still there. I really can’t compare the quality of the drinks though, since it has been a few years since my last visit to the old Verde so it’s a bit difficult for me to recall. But the QQ ramen is indeed back, and I got to try it for the first time here! It’s quite interesting, with a similar chewiness to regular boba yet still a thinner consistency, and I quite enjoyed it. The only issue I had with this was portion control — it was harder to gauge how much of it I was sipping up, and so sometimes I would just end up with a whole mouthful of it. Still fun though; I’m just not sure it’s quite my thing. Even though I’m happy to have Verde back, the quality still doesn’t compare to some of the tried and true boba places in the area. I’ll be here during the warmer months to get my red bean freeze fix though!

Always get the same thing so which isn’t too bad here(Mango Green tea) the place is a little small and I feel like it’s just ok would only come for a milk tea craving but I hate the parking here so yeah kinda not worth it unless you’re doing something else here like shopping or eating somewhere

Nothing too special. Ordered a lychee green tea. There was some floaties in our drink, which I’m not sure what it was. The tea wasn’t really translucent like other places. Wouldn’t come back since there are plenty of other places that are much better and the same price!

Verde went from being one of my favorite boba places to one of my last choices(Fremont location is still great!). After the move, they no longer use Fivestars, they don’t have any food, the service is terrible, and the drinks are really bad. Also, I went at 10 something pm and they were already closing up even though they were supposed to be closing at 11. When we asked if they were closed, they initially said yes, then hesitated, then let us in reluctantly. I got one of my favorite drinks, a passion fruit slushie with aloe, and the flavor was completely different and the aloe tasted spoiled. We ended up throwing the drink away because it didn’t feel safe to drink. Tea Era, Fantasia, and Tea Zone are better options for boba.

Ten Ren is in the same plaza, which makes it a formidable competitor, but Verde wins if you prefer your milk tea more milky than tea-y, significantly shorter lines, 10% discounts with student ID, and cute backdrops for Instagram photos! The QQ boba is a nice change from the regular-sized boba that you have to chew on, since you can just sip these through the tiny straw without needing to chew. The decorations for this holiday season are so pretty(even in the restroom) and the inside seating area is clean and spacious(since there are less customers).

so I FINALLY came to try this new Verde tea shop that my sister told me about. I used to go get my milk tea fix at the old location on Stevens Creek. I was so sad when I discovered that they had closed down. this new place is a Verde Express shop which means that there’s no hot rice plates n noodle bowls to b ordered here. i loved that at the old location. it’s just too bad they only sell milk teas n small snacks here. this new shop is located in the Chinese plaza on Wolfe Road where the Ranch 99 market is. as u have guessed, the parking there is terrible. they built a new parking structure in the back, but still expect to drive around for a while for an available space during lunch n dinner times. so I went in n ordered a regular Jasmine Milk Tea. I thought it was going to taste the same as the old location, but god no! it looked the same, but definitely didn’t taste the same. did the formula change? it was so bland n watered down that I felt like I was drinking sugar water.(it’s not even that sweet either.) so I’m probably not going to get another tea from them in the near future, unless by a miracle, they started making fantastic tasting teas. I should’ve bought one from Ten Ren which is in the same plaza instead.

So happy Verde is back in Cupertino! Location is not as ideal as the old location, but I don’t care because now I can get my Verde drinks again. Creamy, frothy milk tea… oh how I have missed you. I always get their jasmine milk tea with QQ ramen or grass jelly. Verde is unique in the sense that it offers QQ ramen. I love that it adds a nice twist to your drink — it’s chewy like boba but I personally think it’s a little sweeter? Maybe it’s just me. Their milk tea is definitely on the creamier side, which I usually don’t prefer, but Verde somehow always makes it work with their creaminess, and I’m able to drink the whole drink happily. The tea flavor in their milk teas doesn’t shine through, probably due to the creamy nature of the drinks. Unlike the old Verde, this location doesn’t serve any food, so there is very limited seating. They do use powder for their drinks, which is a downside but they’re still whipping out tasty drinks so that makes it a little better. Welcome back, Verde! Hope your drinks will remain consistent in terms of quality!

I’m kind of sad because unlike the other verde tea café locations, this one doesn’t have any rice plates. Their menu consists of mostly milk tea, some appetizers and some toast options. And they don’t have as many appetizers compared to the other locations either. I should’ve anticipated that the«express» part of the name meant less items on the menu.): On the bright side, they offer a 10% student discount on your order if you show them your Student ID. And they give a pretty good portion for their appetizers. Their salty fried chicken and chicken cutlet was pretty crispy and good.

SHOUTOUTTOTHETWOEMPLOYEESWORKINGON10⁄8AROUND5PM. Milk tea already makes me happy, and amazing customer service along with that makes my entire week! I seldom find good customer service like this at milk tea places. And they blew me out of the water. AND I’M HARDTOFREAKINPLEASE, ask my mother. Verde Express just had their grand opening within September. Located in the plaza with 99 ranch, you have your work sought out for you to find the place. It’s kind of in the middle maze of the plaza. But if you’re from the area, you probably know this very well. Noobs like me was in desperate need of a directory. PICKYOPOISON(Dranks): QQ ramen milk tea –large–(4.84 with tax): i know it sounds so gross. NAHBRUHSKI, its good. The topping is shaped exactly like ramen but it’s not actual ramen. Milk tea is frothy and made well here. My friend got the Rose Milk Tea: super good. May get this next time. rose petals on the bottom of the drink. It wasn’t too sweet and was quite refreshing. WHYTHEYDESERVETHEEMPLOYEEOFTHEMONTH: — We walked in and out of courtesy we asked if we could study there, the girl cashier kindly said YES and welcomed us to study.(so used to people saying no or giving looks when u study at their place, which I understand since we are taking up a table) She asked me why we had to ask, and I told her about our frequent encounters and she said«WOW, study here anytime. We don’t mind.» She was very nice and had conversations with us. — I said QQ milk tea, and she clarified if I actually wanted the QQ ramen milk tea. ALMOST ordered the wrong thing had she not ask. She knew exactly what I was coming for! –I was very cold due to the AC facing me, as soon as I raised my hand to do the«cold gesture», the male employee went to turn off the AC(according to my friend) while I went to the restroom. –They noticed we were studying so they amped up the lights more so it would be brighter they really did not have to at all, but they did anyway. Which was super kind of them to be so attentive to their customers. When I came in though there weren’t too many people. I think many people don’t know its here. STAYTHISWAY. Love the quietness and the close attention they pay to us since we were the only ones most of the time there: D SOSHELLFISH… YES I AM. BTW, playlist on the phone, whomever it belonged to… HELLAONPOINT. PS. they have a wall where a trend began somehow to put pennies on there. kinda cute:) 3.5 stars for quality of drink, FIVESTARSCUSTOMERSERVICE!

I was devastated when I heard Verde was closing. Where else am I going to get my QQ ramen?! I’m happy to say that Verde is officially back! I went an hour before closing on a Saturday night, and there was literally no wait. The location is in the middle of the plaza, so you won’t see it if you drive around the plaza. Fortunately, the drinks are still taste the same compared to the old location. I usually order the QQ ramen, Papaya MT, or Red Bean Freeze! The place is a lot smaller and you don’t need a minimum($ 10) to sit inside anymore. It’s more of a grab and go place! They also added a 10% off discount if you show your new student ID :).

I am so happy Verde is back in the Cupertino area and I don’t have to drive all the way to DT Mountain View. I went around 9:30pm with a friend. We went to the previous Verde practically every day when I was in high school. The lady at the register was very nice and the shop was very clean. My friend got melon milk tea and I got the bucket size cup of Thai tea with pearls, our favorites. The bucket size is truly the biggest cup I’ve ever come across at a tea shop. The drinks tasted great as they did at the previous location. I’m definitely going to come here a lot even though there are tons of tea shops on the way there from my house haha **They do give 10% off for students!

Looks like the Bambu is dead. verde being supplanted by super cue down the way is now in its place. They have a weird DMV like board to tell you whose order is up. Minimum $ 10 for credit cards seems steep. Oolong tea was decent though maybe a bit much ice. 3.5 stars

I’m so ecstatic that I happened to run across Verde(grand opening happened this past Monday) running errands today. Ever since Verde closed down(off Steven Creek Blvd) I’ve had a hole in my tea life. No more! I like how they give you a printed number and there’s a reader board that will display your number when your drink is ready as well as they will shout it out. The quality of their drinks is the same as I remembered from the previous Cupertino location meaning it’s one of the better tea shops in the Bay. Pricing did creep up a bit but well within reason. Happy to say, this will be my go to tea shop in the Cupertino area!
