House of Beauty Salon and Spa

After checking out several local salons in the area (and a bad experience at 1), I decided to try House of Beauty. It’s literally right across the street from my neighborhood so that’s obviously a plus — if it worked out.
Since the salon was closed due to a power outage from a storm, I booked the appointment through their Facebook page. The owner (?) responded to my message very quickly, which I thought was a good sign. I was a little nervous because it is such a small salon and I didn’t know anyone there, but I booked an appointment with Tim for a 1 process color.
When I arrived, the receptionist was friendly and offered me something to drink. Tim was on time and very nice. He asked what I had done previously with color and listened to everything I said. He advised putting color just on the roots because if he did the ends it would be too dark. I felt comfortable with him and told him to go for it. It turned out perfect! I was/​am so happy with the color. It blends perfectly with the ends and covers those bits of «sparkle» that keep popping up with age (some people call them grey).
I didn’t plan on a cut because I was trying to grow it out from the bad haircut I had 2 months prior, but after he dried and flat ironed my hair we could both see how scraggly and uneven the previous stylist left it. Tim went ahead and trimmed it up, and I am so glad he did. I walked in the salon feeling blah, but walked out feeling and looking great.
So, the Pros: cute salon, literally a 30 second drive from my house, receptionist was nice and, most importantly, Tim was awesome!
Cons: There aren’t any!
House of Beauty easily earns 5 stars from me.

Great hidden gem in the Johns Creek/​Cumming area, however I live in Alpharetta and make the drive for their services. Wonderful spa environment with every detail mended to. Established in a rustic home which is ideal for separation of services while making it feel comfortable and relaxing. Too of the line products to choose from wether looking for hair products, skin products, or gifts and jewelry. The owner is always present and also provides services. They do excellent lash extension by none other than «Nova Lash», most natural and long lasting in my opinion. They also offer massages, hair services, and waxing. Don’t miss out on checking this great place out!
