I have been here a few times with my child and it’s always been a good time. I usually come in when there is a blonde female, who is very sweet. But in the past weekend, I had an experience with a different female with dark brown hair. She was very quiet and would barely communicate. I noticed she had a male present with her in the back of the store who was not in work clothing and would not come out to help me until I went towards the back and called for help. I was not going to report this until I found out one of my friends had the same experience with this female. The service was not good. I am not sure what company would allow co workers to invite opposite sex friends to «play» during work hours.

Really fun and whimsical place. Brings back memories as a kid going to the local candy shop or pharmacy. They have everything here from gummies to sours to hard candy to chocolates to candied nuts and chips to dots ice cream to truffles. Anything and everything for anyone’s taste. They have another location at the Avalon and great place to fill your purse up prior to watching a movie ;)

Awful… The stupid little twit sales lady didn’t even greet us… she was too busy with some drama on her cell phone… then walked outside with her cellphone still gossiping and left my son and I ALONE in the store! Horrible customer service!!! I will never come here again!!!

Such a cool place. It looks like a candy factory and is chock full of sugar. Everything from classics like pop rocks and fun-dip to turkish taffy or gummy pizza. I really liked the M&Ms which had like 20 different colors. A really fun store.

«Candy is natures way of making up for Mondays.» ~Unknown Author“ This is a fun candy shop! Kid’s eyes light up when they go in, and even if you are not a kid, it is hard not to feel like one as you scan the huge assortment of candy on display. From nostalgic retro candy, to chocolate truffles, to the bins and bins of candy sold by weight it easy to get caught up in the fun. Parental guidance is suggested, however, when it comes to price. A couple of kids given free reign to filling their bags can easily set you back a semester or two of their college tuition! Your inner child will love the sugar shock, your adult self will experience the sticker shock! Overall a fun break if you are shopping at the Avenues.

Fuzziwig’s is a candy store located at The Avenue Forsyth. Ever seen Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? This store is that movie come to life(albeit on a smaller scale). I’m not into candy, so I couldn’t tell you half the stuff in here. I was almost overwhelmed by the dizzying array of colorful and creative candies packed into this small space. I spotted a lot of my childhood favorites like Pop Rocks and Push Pops. I saw Jawbreakers from the tiny to the massive. I’m talking between the size of a baseball and a small bowling ball. We had one of the staff members weigh it and it came in at about $ 25(the Jawbreakers are sold by weight). In the back, there were loads of canisters of M&Ms in unique colors — colors you wouldn’t find in a standard pack of M&Ms. Up front in a container, they had some Chupa Chups lollipops. Unfortunately, the selection was minimal. I was hoping they’d have one of those big Chupa Chup stands. There was also an impressive display of delicious-looking chocolate truffles. I tried a few things from this store:(1) a Willy Wonka Kazoozle Candy Rope,(2) Toxic Waste, and(3) WarHeads Sour Chewy Cubes. The Kazoozle Candy Rope was cherry licorice wrapped around a soft fruit punch-tasting center. It was actually pretty good. I asked one of the employees what the most sour candy they stocked was and he handed me a can of Toxic Waste. I can’t believe they call it that. Who would want to buy a candy called Toxic Waste? Well, our curiosity got the best of us and I wanted to see if I could handle the most sour candy they had. This candy lived up to its name because it tasted terrible. The outer shell was very sour, but not so sour that I couldn’t handle it. After the sourness quickly wore off, I discarded the rest. The WarHeads were good, but not as sour as I remember them as a kid. The employees were super friendly and helpful, so kudos to the staff. Overall, Fuzziwig’s is a fun store worth checking out.
