Vista Motel

Stayed here in April 2015. We asked to see the room before we paid for it because the place looked pretty run down, even for a $ 60/​night motel. The man at the front desk was extremely rude and told us he did not show rooms before. That should have been our warning sign but we decided to get the room anyway. We discovered bedbugs crawling all over the bed, the walls near the bed, and in the carpet. We left immediately and left a note for management requesting a refund, which they gave us when we went back the next morning to return the key. A different man at the front desk offered no apology and was just as equally unfriendly and rude as the first guy who wouldn’t show us the room prior to booking it.
DON’T STAY HERE! BEDBUGS and RUDE, SKETCHY MANAGEMENT!

My elderly Mother stayed here When she was getting her house tented for termites It was clean and She honestly felt safe. She would recommend them and would stay there again if she needed too. And very reasonably priced for this day…

What a bucket of scum. People next door room are obvious just released felons.
Neighboring room just threaten me with bodily harm. When I complained to management, they said they would call the police on the both of us. I’ve NEVER been threatened by another guest at a hotel before ! Csn’t believe management doesn’t get it.
Manager refused refund when I asked to leave, only an hour or so after check in and being stuck next to some crazy.
Avoid like the plague !

I like it here! The décor in the rooms hasn’t changed in the 40-​odd years this place has been open, which is something I thoroughly enjoy. The rooms are immaculate and spacious, the bathroom is large and quite modern with no sign of mold or mildew, there’s AC for the summer and space heaters for the winter. Our room had 2 comfy beds, one for sleeping and one for jumping on. The door to the large closet has a full-​length mirror, and contains coat hangers and a dresser. There’s also a fridge. Overall a very comfortable place for a great price! The only reason I can’t give this place a full five stars is the lack of WiFi (although there is free Internet access via Ethernet), and the manager was slightly unfriendly to begin, but I think he could be a nice guy if he warms up to you. I would definitely stay here again.
