Walked in for the first time today out of curiousity to do some early christmas shopping and the two associates(Katie and Esperanza) were very helpful. They walked me through the details of their black friday deal and assisted me in picking out the best possible christmas gift for my secret santa. Will definitely visit again.

I go into this store every now and then and I recall the last two times being great. Sales associates are always helpful and spend time with me as I find the perfect product to take home. This time around I came in an hour before closing. Two girls at the register and I’m the only one there. Instead of helping me find/decide on a product suitable for my needs, they rush off to the back leaving me alone in there. After quite some time someone finally ask how I’m doing. I barely say«I think but…» And off she goes to the back again. I find some smaller items and I think of getting them to test them out before buying the larger version and I have to call out for help. Finally I find a clay mask that might work for me but I remember there were single packages so again I call out to them to ask and I get a rude reply that they don’t make them. I then ask where I can find another store and she replies that they won’t have it anywhere else. I rather go somewhere else where I’ll be helped.

I’ve had acne problems since puberty and tried everything. Salicylic acid dried up my skin too much and made it all red. I tried St. Ives face washes without salicylic acid and my redness went away, but the acne remained. Finally I walked into The Body Shop and tried their tea tree oil line. My skin is FLAWLESS. Follow their regimen of washing once in the morning and once at night. Can’t praise their line of products enough. My skin feels moisturized, squeaky clean, and completely acne free.

So wow, I went into The Body Shop(I have been to several throughout my life) and the sales girl, Michelle, was basically shooting daggers at me the whole time. It was like my presence was inconveniencing her. I have never felt so unwelcome or uncomfortable at a store in my life. The products are WAY overpriced for what they really are. You can find cheap fragrant lotions and gels made with the same crappy ingredients at any drugstore for ¼ the price. I am surprised the The Body Shop doesn’t step up their game and get rid of the toxins in their products. Thumbs down.

OK so a few months back i was having allergy skin problems and i went into this body shop and was instantly helped by one of the sweetest ladies ever! She gave me some great information and I have been a loyal customer every since. I have been there several times since… but my review is for today… upon going into the store to get some facial products my fiancé and I were helped by the two sweetest workers there… and after going through the whole process of my discount card having a problem this lady went above and beyond any customer service I have ever seen to fix the problem. She also advised me on how to get the best points for our money… and made sure we did… they two ladies there today are the absolute queens of customer service… AND in a huge place like los angeles they even remembered me from my past shopping there! I wish every place i went had the customer service that these two ladies have!!!(you guys deserve a raise)

This is the closest Body Shop store so I came here for the first time. I was instantly greeted with a friendly staff person with a smile. I specifically came here to buy their Grapeseed hair gloss serum, since it was rated #5 on the Totalbody website and their members. Unfortunately, they were out of stock and didn’t even have a tester. Due to the Winter Storms back east, they didn’t know when their next shipment was going to arrive. Today they were having a 40% off everything in their store. I decided I would buy the Grapeseed serum online, with the same 40% discount and pay for the shipping, rather than drive all the way to the Century City store, even though the staffer offered to call the CC store. I browsed around and found the Grapefruit oil for the hair, scalp, and body to try on my hair. Instantly, a few drops of oil placed on my palm and spreading it between my hands and my hair, made my dull frizzy hair shine and glossy and NOFRIZZ! AHHHHHMAZING! So I bought it and have used it daily on my body and hair and am now addicted! Remember… only a few drops is needed, otherwise, your hair will look greasy. A tip for the store: they will give you samples of anything! So simply ask for a sample! And if the store doesn’t have what you are looking for, buy it online!

On 2⁄14 I purchased the Honeymania body butter at The Body Shop at the Culver City Westfield Mall. When I opened the container that evening I discovered that ¼ of the contents were gone. Clearly, the container had been opened and used prior to my purchase. I returned to the store on 2⁄16 with the item and my receipt. I showed the container to the sales people who agreed that the container had been used prior to purchase and I was able to exchange it for a new container. While at the store, I purchased a number of other items including a second body butter in Moringa. I had no problems with my exchanged item, however, when I opened the Moringa tonight I discovered that a significant amount of its contents were missing. Clearly, this container had been opened and used prior to me purchasing it on 2⁄16. I threw away my receipt prior to opening the container tonight. I am hoping the sales people will remember me and/or have a record of my purchase on their computers so i can exchange the item. I am not looking forward to making a third trip to that mall within a weeks period. After this experience, it is unlikely I will ever make a purchase at a The Body Shop store and will strongly discourage my friends and family from the doing the same.

Just a quick review on the customer service as I didnt purchase anything but I had a great conversation with a sales lady by the name of Azur last weekend. She was informative about the product and helpful without pressuring for a sale. We also made chit chat about other things which in this day time where congeniality among sales people is severely lacking i GREATLY appreciated. If I had a $ to spare, I so would have purchased something just off the plain great experience I had with her, but im financially challenged at the moment :(But stop in here if you are in the mall.

If you’ve never been to The Body Shop they have lots of good smelling products to clean and take care of your skin. As a note, the body butter will leave your skin so smooth and hydrated you’ll swear you were made of butter yourself. The staff we ran into at the Fox Hills Mall location were very helpful and friendly. They knew quite a bit about their products in order to steer us toward what works best given skin type and fragrence preferences.
